During Covid we had to switch from in person events to online. We started using Zoom but some of our audience found logins difficult, and Zoom became expensive with higher audience plans. We wanted to broadcast Zoom to easier channels of YouTube and FB to maximize flexibility, but Zoom only supports one output stream. That's the problem Castr solves, and it was easy to set up. **What do you dislike about Castr?** Sometimes when the broadcast to Facebook starts, multiple post are created, one a few seconds long, and the second with the full event. Also, due to changing YouTube API, we now have to pre-create the events on YouTube with multiple streaming keys, and then set up those streaming keys in Castr. Not a big deal after we figured out our workflow, but was a hassle / hold your breath during broadcasts when YouTube made the changes. **Recommendations to others considering Castr:** Easy to setup and reasonable cost, I have set up additional Castr accounts for other nonprofits I work with. Also they have month to month billing so if only needed for an annual event, just sign up for one month. **What problems is Castr solving and how is that benefiting you?** Needed to move events online during Covid. I can stream to multiple platforms at once w/o having to use my own bandwidth. I can have with an X2 package two different streaming setups (I use one for testing and one for live broadcast). The user interface is simple and easy to figure out. **What do you dislike about Castr?** The price structure is not clear; it does not clearly communicate the need for an X2 level package to use Facebook's API info, or to stream to a Facebook page and YouTube channel. I wish the X2 package had an embed code for our website, but I believe it's for a higher cost package. **What problems is Castr solving and how is that benefiting you?** My church has been live streaming since March due to COVID-19 and continues to do so to expand our reach (and allow those more vulnerable to COVID to participate in our Sunday worship services).
