What do you like best about Cascade?

+I have loved the collaborative nature of the tool. Having a space where a whole team can record their progress and have visibility over the work has been great.

+The ability to develop and use different snapshots to report to a range of audiences means no duplication.

+The reassurance that you are creating and referring back to one source of truth.

+The customer support is next level, we have been back and forth refining the reports and it is always done quickly and efficiently. Having someone to collaborate with to develop what the organisation has been so valuable to getting the maximum output.

What do you dislike about Cascade?

+Some of the language that is built into the reports/data presentation, in particular for the financial report doesn't always work for not-for-profit.

What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?

The implementation of our Strategic Plan and the ability to monitor and report on progress across the organisation is the challenge. We want to be able to feed information from the grass-roots activities through to connect to the overarching activities so we can really understand our progress and see our impact.

"Strong and dynamic tool for aligning a complex academic health system."

What do you like best about Cascade?

Cascade is extremely effective at aligning tactics all the way up to the system level. Here at University of Maryland Medical System, we recently rolled out our system-wide strategic framework that each of the 8 "member organizations" align to, and this tool is great at qualitatively aligning and building out actionable strategies. What do you dislike about Cascade?

Cascade lacks in its quantitative and metric reporting abilities. At our hospitals, we like to visualize and trend out metric scorecards, and Cascade does not provide a "one-stop shop" for our users to update metrics in an easy way, as we are still having to enter metrics into an excel document. What problems is Cascade solving and how is that benefiting you?

Cascade is helping us solve our problem of having "too many priorities." It is also helping us be able to visually map out our tactics and actions to achieve system-wide initiatives. "Amazing experience with lots of guidance and help from staff!"

What do you like best about Cascade?

The staff are so helpful and make the app so much more usable. Danielle Latimore was my Customer Success Manager and she was fantastic. She came to our meetings prepared and organized, and she had a solution for every question or problem. Danielle went out of her way to check in after I started onboarding our staff to the app to see if there was any feedback or hurdles she could help me with. What do you like best about Cascade?

I like the flexibility of the system which allows me to report up to the Executive team and the Board, while at the same time operationalising our strategy. We can also prepare rpeorts for other senior stakeholders. This allows us to have appropriate governance and transparency in our work, with little or no additional burden. I need to report up two separate hierarchies, which is ordinarily a painful process of duplciation. Using Cascade, all work is done once and I can do whatever reporting is necessary to meet different stakeholder needs. But most importantly, it is helping us operationalise the strategy on a day-to-day basis, keeping my team in touch with activities and helps us manage our work across locations.
