I think the most useful feature for us was the reporting features, both dashboards and snapshots. This was really powerful for us to have concise, accurate and live reports for not only our entire business plan but down to individual projects and programmes. I think for someone in the role I am in, PMO, being able to have the ability to not only look at the overarching strategy and cascading that down but also being able to understand the dependencies of tasks or even project to project would have been very powerful. Cascade has given my company a single source of truth when it comes to our goals and what specific actions the business is taking to get there. The interface is flexible and customizable when it comes to including custom fields and aligning goals to multiple areas of focus. The Cascade team seems to be available around the clock for solving urgent asks and they have also been incredibly responsive when it comes to building custom solutions. Additionally, the main working space (called the planner) would be made better if we were able to slice and dice to the same extent as the reporting feature (snapshots). There was no single, aligned area that defined what actions each of our businesses were taking to improve. With Cascade, we have been able to have one place our leadership team accesses to see progress against our goals and pinpoint where they need to provide support. The holistic approach to strategic planning works perfectly for us. It allows us to really focus on pushing objectives forward without getting caught up in the smaller details. I have spent a good amount of time learning the application and the team has thought of many beneficial features. The integrations on the roadmap should be a great addition too.
