CartaLingua is the digital menu for restaurants that welcome foreign tourists. Guests scan the QR code on the table and see the menu in their own language, out of 25: twenty European languages plus Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Turkish. Every dish has a real photo, ingredients and allergens, so guests know what they order before asking the waiter. Allergens follow the list of 14 in EU Regulation 1169/2011. The restaurant can highlight the dish of the day, the most ordered dishes and the chef's wine pairing. Guests book a table straight from the menu, no phone calls. Prices and dishes are changed in seconds, nothing to reprint. The menu follows the restaurant's own style. Guest data stays in Europe, and bookings are deleted 90 days after the visit.
