It is clear, easy to understand and very detailed. I like that it breaks it down on a monthly basis to see how much you've vested already and you can also see what remains. The mobile app is great, as well! Works so well that I find that I rarely need to log onto the desktop version of Carta. Very well done with the app. **What do you dislike about Carta Equity Suite?** As states previously, I almost exclusively use the app and not the desktop version It has what I need, but it does seem kind of bare (almost too bare bones). But, I like the simplicity, so it's a trade-off, I suppose. **Recommendations to others considering Carta Equity Suite:** I highly recommend Carta to others -- it is the best software out there for keeping employees informed of options that have been vested and remain to be vested. **What problems is Carta Equity Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Previously, it was not easy to find out information on our vesting schedule. They do not have a great support system, but their platform is easy enough where you can figure out how to manage your documents. **What do you dislike about Carta Equity Suite?** Carta raised pricing on us by almost 10x without warning or explanation. When asking them about this, they basically dismissed my frustration with the way they went about charging us by essentially saying they dont want me to be frustrated but there's nothing they can do about it. Let me note that with this new price increase I was never sent a letter or email letting us know that our price would increase. Additionally, they did not send any receipts to our account and the only way I found out about the charges was that I happened to be doing our books. Unfortunately, this is not a company you can trust. By far the best feature is the Customer Support Team. They have friendly and informative staff that will answer most if not all you questions instantly through their live chat or by email. User interface is very intuitive and easy to navigate. Accessing data is fairly straight forward. Issuing option grants to employees is a breeze; fill out the information on a downloadable template and import it directly to Carta. Nowadays, everyone wants user friendly and simple to navigate platforms, which eShares has achieved. Both from the administrative perspective and the user side it has an easy to use platform. The system's capability of handling multiple investors and stock options makes eShares a must. Their cap table is also top notch, simple and easy to export and send to investors. **What do you dislike about Carta Equity Suite?** The price is a big high in my opinion. There was hesitation of bringing it on board as the questions regarding stock options from employees are the same quantity, but it has helped the exercise portion of employee stock options very well. One thing I don't really love about the system, and perhaps its because I never looked into it too closely, but the lack of integration into payroll for deductions for ESOP exercises. Compared to Solium's platform, which is more expensive, that is one thing I missed. **Recommendations to others considering Carta Equity Suite:** Price is the biggest determining factor. Excel and a bit of labour can do what eShares does, however in our world of automation and delegation eShares is a good solution. The setup portion is quite time consuming, but that is no different from building any equity cap table. **What problems is Carta Equity Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** From the Employee Stock Option side, we have used eShares to manage the option program giving each option holder the ability to go in and check their own option plan. From a cap table perspective, I really enjoy the tools they've put together for this making every investor request and audit request a breeze. ### 27. I'm sure I will use eShares even more as I stay with our company and have more shares vest. This is a great way to visually see the benefits of working at the company i'm at. The interface is pretty easy to use as well! **What do you dislike about Carta Equity Suite?** Not much to dislike here. It would be cool to show a vesting calendar so users can get an idea of when their options will become available. Besides a little bit of product robusting, this product is very good at it's intended purpose. It's simple and maybe a bit too simple. **Recommendations to others considering Carta Equity Suite:** This product makes it easy to show employees their company shares, what has vested and what option shave been exercised! All in one place. **What problems is Carta Equity Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our company didn't really have a way to show and deliver company shares from our incentives program.
