**What do you like best about CareStack?**

What I liked most is how intuitive and efficient the platform is, especially from an operations standpoint. The analytics are practical and easy to work with, and having a team that supports with pulling and interpreting data makes a big difference in day-to-day management.

There’s definitely a learning curve at the beginning, especially coming from outside the dental field, but the onboarding support helps make that transition much smoother.

**What problems is CareStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CareStack really helps keep everything in one place, which makes a big difference in day-to-day operations. Instead of jumping between systems or spending too much time pulling reports, the analytics are right there and easy to work with. It saves time, makes it easier to stay organized, and helps me quickly understand what’s going on in the practice so I can make decisions without overcomplicating things. It just makes the whole operation feel more manageable and less scattered

**What do you dislike about CareStack?**

The ERA workflow in CareStack is probably my least favorite part of the software for our office. While the platform overall has great features and strong cloud functionality, the ERA process can feel overly complicated and less intuitive compared to other dental systems. It often takes extra clicks and troubleshooting, which can slow down payment posting and insurance workflows.

**What problems is CareStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Carestack helps solve many of the operational problems dental practices face every day, especially around efficiency, organization, communication, and revenue management. Its cloud-based all-in-one system reduces the need for multiple disconnected software programs by combining scheduling, billing, insurance claims, patient communication, charting, analytics, and reporting into one platform. Practices use CareStack to improve appointment scheduling, automate reminders, streamline insurance verification and claims processing, reduce paperwork, centralize multi-location management, and improve collections and reporting. Many offices also benefit from its remote access, cloud backups, patient engagement tools, and integrated workflows that help staff multitask more efficiently and reduce administrative bottlenecks.

**What do you like best about CareStack?**

The upside of using CareStack is that everything is in one place. Being able to work with claims and the clearinghouse directly in CareStack has been a time saver. Although there are many wonderful features, for me working with insurance daily, this has been huge!

**What do you dislike about CareStack?**

First, the ledger—specifically when reviewing insurance postings—can be difficult to interpret. The verbiage used is somewhat confusing, which makes it harder to quickly understand what’s being shown. For example, when an insurance payment is posted you see what insurance paid on one line and then another line automatically shows and it categorized as an "adjustment" and the verbiage is "transfer adjustment - transfer to insurance". There is no need for this line. To me, this isn't a "transfer" or an "adjustment". It is simply what insurance paid. It is redundant. I wish I could at least relabel it as "insurance payment". It also feels like there are extra, unnecessary steps involved in the process. Streamlining the language and simplifying the workflow would make this much more user-friendly.

Second, printing receipts could use more flexibility. While there are filtering options available, there still seem to be additional details included that aren’t always relevant. It would be very helpful to have more control—ideally the ability to select specific line items and print only those. This is something we previously had with Eaglesoft, and it allowed for much more customized, clean receipts.

Lastly, I’d love to see improved visibility of patient alerts directly on the schedule screen. Currently, flags/alerts require hovering or clicking to view. It would be much more efficient if alert/flag indicators were automatically visible on the appointment box itself—similar to how confirmation status CFor RX indicators are displayed. Having alerts immediately visible would help our team quickly identify important patient notes without extra steps.

**What problems is CareStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CareStack has helped us simplify our office workflow by reducing the number of systems we need to log into each day. As a result, our staff is able to work more efficiently and at a smoother pace. We also love the AI and call transcription features available through CareStack’s partnership with VoiceStack—another huge time saver for our team.

**What do you like best about CareStack?**

The developers thought of everything! I have been in dentistry for over 40 years and am just amazed at the features. It is easy to navigate and having everything integrated with links throughout the system makes it the best dental software on the market!! BUt, ultimately, the transistion team of Natalia and Sachin is what made our experience the best!!

**What do you dislike about CareStack?**

There are a couple features we were told we would have that were not available upon our transistion, and unfortunately we are now being told it is still a couple quarters away from being implemented. That was disappointing - especially when we were told it would be ready by 4th quarter 2025.

**What problems is CareStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a private practice with 3 locations that are approx 20-40 miles apart.  We had been using a large server onsite at one of the locations, and had to remote in from the other 2. The server would go down frequently making it nearly impossible to operate normally.  We now have the cloud based Carestasck and it had aleviated many problems we were dealing with. Also gives us the ability to work remotely without having to remote into an on-site PC

**What do you like best about CareStack?**

Everything! There is nothing to dislike about it. Everything that carestack offers is top of the line. Best customer service on the market. Everything you need, from a clinical to a revenue standpoint can be found within the software. My account manager Alisha Gerrard is amazing. Anytime I have a question or a concern, she responds within minutes and has a solution for whatever my issue is.

Nothing to dislike about the system!
If you lose internet access, then you have to paper chart until internet is restored.

**What problems is CareStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Carestack is currently working adding the ability to take CT scans as part of their imaging system that is offered and will reduce the amount of venders that I need to run my operations.

The text-to-pay option has been a real game changer. Being able to click a button to verify insurance and, in that same spot, message a patient if we have a question or an issue is also so great.

**What do you dislike about CareStack?**

We’re still trying to figure out how to get to certain things in the chart with fewer clicks. Also, during the first few weeks, I felt like we could have been more prepared.

Carestack has definitely helped us make fewer insurance mistakes. Brandy has been AMAZING  in this area in particular... Also this program has helped us interact with patients so much easier. Whether it be for billing questions or general info, patient communication has been improved.

My favorite thing about Carestack is how seamless everything feels. We really love the dashboard feature because it makes it so easy to see who is missing paperwork and who still has a balance. Overall, it has helped us stay much more organized.

We don’t have many complaints. The only change we’d like to see is the option to print the schedule vertically and have it fit on a single page.

Reporting-wise, Carestack keeps track of so many things, and it has really helped us manage our short call list and follow up with inactive patients.

There is a learning curve, but you’d have that with any new implementation. CareStack’s support throughout the implementation process has been exceptional.

Task tracking keeps all tasks in one place reducing need for post-its, emails or task spreadsheets. Improves accountability. The analytics helps me hone in on areas of my practice where we are doing well and where there are training opportunities.

**What do you like best about CareStack?**

CareStack is a great option for cloud based software. We converted from Eaglesoft. The training process was great and the entire CS team was very responsive. The best part were the trainers. Huge shout out to Caroline, Ayisha, Abby, and Sharath (from VoiceStack.) They were in essence an extension of our team and super patient and kind with all of our questions and training needs. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and I’ll miss them the most!! Carestack definitely grew on me and the software is built to anticipate ans address the needs of dental professionals to truly aid in the success of the practice.

I think there are some aspects that are set within the software that I wish could be customized. That could be easily resolved in my opinion, so hopefully they make some adjustments.

They have thought a lot about common issues that dental professionals face with dental software and they tried to address those issues by building the software accordingly.

Cloud based, so it is accessible from anywhere, which is great. Cutting edge, and always getting better. They listen to your recommendation and advice. We have already seen 3 changes from recommendations we gave. Easy to use, no problem getting everyone onboard, plenty of training for implementation. Customer service is easy to get a hold of. The amount of features this software has is insane.. so many things to make your life easier!

The billing although very exact and defined, can be a few steps more than other PMS but i understand why. And ultimately a few more steps for better record keeping is warranted.

Analytics and reports have been awesome, numbers matter especially when it directly affects the bottom line.

There is definitely a learning curve when transitioning to such a robust, all-in-one, cloud-based system. Some tasks take a tremendous number of clicks just to complete simple actions, and I really wish a few things were less click-intensive.

I have been working with CareStack for over 4 years, and the team is amazing—very professional and knowledgeable. The PMS offers comprehensive systems that enable practices to grow both internally and externally, making it an excellent solution for DSOs.

Like any software, there are always some cons. However, when you have a team that works with you, anything can be fixed or enhanced. This collaborative approach allows both the PMS and the dental practice to grow together.

There are many advantages to having CareStack. The ability to see all offices with one click—instead of remoting in—is a game-changer. You can view reports anytime, either individually or combined across offices. All documents are stored in CareStack, from EOBs to patient files. The system also includes tracking for lab cases, payment plans, and more. It's truly an all-encompassing system.

Even though any change can come with challenges, CareStack stands out because of its user-friendly nature. I also rate it a 10 out of 10 for recommending it to a friend or colleague.

The only downside is that there’s a bit of a learning curve at first because the system has so many features. Once you get used to it, though, it becomes much easier to navigate especially with the help and training from Timothy Seaburg.

The support team is extremely responsive and hands on. The training and onboarding were thorough, and the follow-up meetings actually addressed real concerns. They helped customize CareStack to fit our office workflow, including setting up patient onboarding forms. They also helped me manage scheduling in a more efficient and organized way.

Learning a new system after being very comfortable with our old software was difficult. The adjustment period can feel overwhelming at first. However, the team walked us through everything step by step, which helped reduce frustration.

We recently switched to CareStack, and overall, we’ve had a very positive experience. What we like best is that it truly functions as an all-in-one system. Having everything integrated into one platform has streamlined our workflow and improved efficiency across the board. The software is very user-friendly and intuitive, which made the transition much smoother for our team.

If we had to mention one area for improvement, it would be checking in at the kiosk for multi-location practices. Greater flexibility in customizing those features would make it even more seamless for organizations with multiple offices.

our initial integration with insurance balances was a nightmare.  I would not recommend transferring insurance balances if possible.  We should have started fresh in Carestack and finished all open claims in Eaglesoft .

**What do you like best about CareStack?**

What stood out most was how comprehensive yet user-friendly the platform is. CareStack truly streamlines every aspect of practice management — from scheduling and billing to forms, notes, and patient management — all in one secure system. The reporting features provide valuable insights that help us make better decisions, and any bugs or issues we encountered were resolved quickly with outstanding customer support. Most importantly, the transition was made seamless thanks to Geo’s responsiveness, patience in teaching, and ability to simplify complex processes. The combination of a robust platform and such dedicated support makes CareStack an incredible value for money.

**What do you dislike about CareStack?**

Honestly, there hasn’t been anything negative to report. The transition was seamless, and whenever small questions or minor issues came up, Geo and the CareStack team addressed them immediately. If anything, the only challenge was the natural learning curve that comes with adopting a new, feature-rich system — but with Geo’s patient guidance and thorough training, this was quickly overcome.

I cannot say enough about the outstanding support we received from Geo and the CareStack team during our transition. From the very beginning, Geo demonstrated exceptional dedication and professionalism, making what could have been a complicated process truly seamless.

He was incredibly quick to respond to every question and concern, no matter how small, and always provided clear, actionable solutions. His ability to streamline processes saved our team significant time and effort. What stood out most was his patience with teaching — he guided us step by step, ensuring that every staff member felt comfortable and confident using the system.

CareStack itself has proven to be a tremendous value. The platform offers strong security, excellent customer support, and a wide range of tools that enhance patient management. We’ve found the handling of forms and notes to be efficient and customizable, and the reporting features give us insight we’ve never had before. Any bugs or issues were addressed promptly, with real accountability and follow-through. From day-to-day scheduling to billing, CareStack has elevated our practice management in a meaningful way.

I like that it’s cloud-based software, and they also have a great support team that helps with onboarding.

The ledger and and the insurance posting is not easy to navigate and read to the average front office staff. It can be difficult for them to see where balances are coming from in order to explain it to the patient

**What do you like best about CareStack?**

I absolutely LOVE our trainer, Carolina.  She has been patient, kind and supportive beyond her 'required' time with us.  In addition, the ENTIRE Carestack team has been so DEVOTED to us.  Dan, Jacqui, Alfiya, Aravind, Andan, Geo and Carolina have been ALWAYS willing to listen and support us.  The software has been an easy transition as well.

**What do you dislike about CareStack?**

The only downside about Carestack is that, like other trainings, I see Zoom presentations and it is a LOT of information.  I am a person that needs to 'touch' the learning, not just watch at first.

**What problems is CareStack solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Carestack is a secure program in that you must be an allowed user to access. Carestack offers us a web based operating system--we can access and view from home or another office. **What do you like best about CareStack?**

Carestack has been a great PMS for our team! We have multiple locations and we specialize in extractions, implants, and AOX. Not only is Carestack the best software for such a specialized company like ours, but they are constantly asking for feedback and actually updating software based on the customer requests!
My Customer Success Manager is Mariangles and she, with Earwin, have been an absolute delight to work with! Not only has she shown me things I never would have known to do with the software, but she has taken my notes of frustration or suggestions and turned them to the powers that be to have the suggestions put into the software. Not like in 2 years, but like 3 months after it's been requested. Absolutely insane because anyone who has ever worked with another PMS knows that is RARELY the case.

As a former Eaglesoft girlie, I definitely recommend Carestack for practices looking to have a comprehensive PMS that listens and adapts!

**What do you dislike about CareStack?**

Anything I dislike or prefer to have changed/updated, I let my CSM manager know and the CS team works to find ways to implement and release as an updated or new feature on the next update, which happens several times per year.

CS manages our entire patient database, our scheduler, our clinical notes. Without it, we would be forced to use a subpar product.

Using Carestack all day long, ease of integration and use of carestack was very important. The implemantion team was wonderful and support is alway helpful and quick! Reports to keep track of all aspects of the practice. Ease of submitting electronic claims with attachments.

Initially the Staements were hard to dechiper, but the had an update now I love the new statements!!

Keeping track of our practice with Carestack reports has been wonderful. I can easily monitor both account aging and claims aging. I also love the flags that help me stay on top of outstanding claims, along with the notes I can attach to each claim to keep everything organized and easy to follow.

**What do you like best about CareStack?**

I am still new to Care Stack but for me is the Claims process is made to be very simplified, and I am able to run reports there are many choices to prepared items related to my position. The Customer support is great; the transition was a bit rough but the Team at Care stack made sure to communicate things as we needed to prepare and we are in process of the day to day and with the weekly check ins and reviewing the functions to maximize the practice use is a great help. The ease of use from the training has helped but again the ease of implementation had some minor issues but the team at Care stack is there to support as needed and we continue to ease into integration day by day as things migrate over from our previous Software.

**What do you dislike about CareStack?**

Even though there are many options, there is not a report that is inclusive to what our practices uses but the Care stack team has been trying to see about creating a report that is inclusive to an Executive summary report. Also when posting and not being able to remove an error and make corrections but as with a new Software is to find a work around an come up with the right fit.

Schedules views were a great help for the practice view, how easy it has been to do attachments for claims to go out timely, the day-to-day process as I am learning more functions, I am able to put together items for the team for the day to day to ease the process. The support team there and the startup team have been very responsive and timely for the most part.

More clear instructions from the CareStack team at the start and smoother transition overall would have been much better.

I find CareStack makes systems easier to use, improving patient correspondence and appointment setup, requiring less effort. It offers deeper insights into practice operations, helping make adjustments for better patient care.

We love that CareStack has a lot of integrated features in it's platform. It's more than just a patient scheduler. It's great for daily goal tracking, patient engagement and business analytics. Our whole administrative team works extensively with this program and are very comfortable with it.

When it comes to patient engagement, it would be nice to see an updated interface and more customizable options when drafting one-time promotional emails. As of now— its very basic.

We looked at several other PMS and they all wanted to charge you separately for all the various aspects and had limited storage so you would have to pay extra after you reached your limit. Carestack has everything you need for one price and no limits on storage. It is easy to navigate once you learn it and we love that you can access it from anywhere. We worked with Caroline and Ayisha during set up and they are amazing.  They walked us through each step, were fun to work with and are always quick to respond any time we have a question. We have had a great experience all around.

CareStack has a lot of features we are learning to work with. Transitioning from an outdated software system to Carestack has been challenging for our practice, but we have had some outstanding training with a CSM (BR) who has been very patient with us and we are making great strides in the use of Carestack.

The one option I would change is to not have every financial transaction attached to a code. We are a fee for service practice and our work flow is different than most practices.

**What do you like best about CareStack?**

Being in the dental field for almost ten years I have worked with many practice management softwares..... but nothing truly compares to carestack. We have chosen to go all in with carestack using their phone system, payment systems, insurance system, and imaging systems - and having everything integrated is a game changer. It was a little challenging at first taking a 20 year old practice and switching it over to a new software but I will say the team at Carestack walked us through every step of the transition. Even now they continuously check in on us, and whenever we have questions they are always so kind to help us get answers. Mario and Mariann were are main points of contact and they have been tremendously helpful! Anyone in the market for a fully integrated cloud-based software should definitely go with Carestack!

The transition at first was tough, but expected. It was a learning curve trying to learn new software that is highly complex - but you want a system that is complex so there is no room for errors.

Being cloud based allows us to always be able to log in which is a huge game changer. We have chosen to go all in with carestack using their phone system, payment systems, insurance system, and imaging systems - and having everything integrated allows no room for errors.
