That is not always the case. **What do you dislike about Cardata?** Lots of improvements need to be made when a cell is at low power. Cardata keeps turning off and it is unclear whether it is still tracking mileage. I feel as though I have lost out on some reimbursement due to this issue. My hope is in the future that this software will take less power to run. It still takes a crazy amount. **What problems is Cardata solving and how is that benefiting you?** It solves the issue of tracking mileage, especially when I'm going on many small trips. ### 2. I wished you could add addresses rather than location names. * i would love a report per month of the total mileage, cost - as of now i check that for my own knowledge. but i would love that included in the automated monthly close-off emails. * could there be an opportunity to integrate with any other apps.. such as alert of where the car is parked..(always in different parking lots), really any features for gas finding, etc **What problems is Cardata solving and how is that benefiting you?** Mileage tracking and expense payout ### 3. The app has improved accuracy significantly in the past year. **What do you dislike about Cardata?** Their fixed rate does not match what it takes to own and insure a vehicle in my area. My company wants a five year or newer midsize sedan to be "in compliance" With the retail costs, insurance at the required levels they require (which is significantly higher than the state minimum required coverages) and the increased costs of maintennance and repairs; I lose money every month I drive with their software. Additionally, their mileage rate is not fair based on fuel prices **What problems is Cardata solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cardata has implemented solutions to flawed tracking reported previously. It doesn’t always run, it sometimes stops tracking, and randomly logs you out so you have to enter credentials to get back in. **What do you dislike about Cardata?** Everything - the user experience for confirming mileage looks like an embedded google sheets document. A recent example of why I don’t like the app: I confirmed the app was tracking me at the beginning of my day (which you have to do because it isn’t reliable). The first part of my trip was tracked successfully but the second leg of 150+ miles, was not at all. So now I get to go back and guesstimate on my mileage and reimbursement. This isn’t the first time this has happened. The app has also stopped tracking in heavy congestion and doesn’t always start back up after through the congestion…how many miles have I lost in these situations? Dunno. For several months I ended up subscribed to another mileage tracking app just to get a second opinion on my monthly miles - Cardata never matched the other apps miles and was always much less. This should not be an exhausting effort added to the daily to do list for traveling sales reps. Set it and forget it because it is reliable should be the goal. Epic fail. **What problems is Cardata solving and how is that benefiting you?** It really isn’t solving any problems…causing more headaches.
