I mostly appreciate the ease to showcase your portfolio in a very professional way. You have various opportunities to choose from - may it be in a gallery view or sorted into projects. And even though you have such vast customisation opportunities, you still are limited enough that you won't mess anything up. There is no need to use codes or buy different templates, if you feel like switching it up - you have total customisation and can transform your templates into different ones all by yourself. Not much as most things I asked for that are missing seem to be in the pipeline and will get added eventually... Most commonly being able to add in custom code or embeds anywhere would be nice, and I would also like more control over where my portfolio pages are on the page as currently they all stack in one place, but it would be cool to be able to separate and move certain pages above a gallery or other area for instance. Carbonmade is very straightforward to use. It's especially useful for those who are unfamiliar with web design or who do not want to deal with a web hosting service. Their customer service is helpful and I have seen responses in less than 24 hours with any issues I've run into. I chose Carbonmade because it is optimized for mobile phones, which is accounting for more and more web traffic as people rely on their phones rather than laptops or home computers to explore the web. The templates do limit the diversity or options for how your content is displayed. There is limited ability to customize your content, but as long as you aren't too particular about the formatting, it should be fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Carbonmade's free version is excellent. I never felt pushed to purchase the add-ons - only after years of happy usage I decided to upgrade. I'm no graphic designer, and the idea of making my own website has always been daunting - carbonmade is just the right amount of guidance and gives room to my creativity too. The FAQs could be more detailed for easier troubleshooting. I've missed client emails who have tried to contact me through the contact form on my portfolio site. The templates are limiting by today's user-friendly web design tool standards. At the time, almost a decade ago, Carbonmade had template designs that put other to shame. But now, in the era of Wix and Squarespace, the templates are extremely limiting as far as design customization goes. One template does one thing upon rollover, but another does not. These should be simple toggle options. I'm a legacy user, so I probably won't migrate my stuff to another tool, but I can see many more people flocking to the other sites for this reason alone. The user face is extremely simple to use and the options to design your portfolio are straight forward to use. I liked the options for layout and the preset design blocks made the whole portfolio designing process easy and quick. I also like the easy to read analytics provided. Though the preset design blocks were aesthetically pleasing and easy to use, I do wish there was an option to design your portfolio with more freedom. It's quite an easy-to-use app, I can recommend it. I rellay enjoyed the speed of the implementation, and the drag-n-drop feature is still a thing :)

I like the smooth animations of the tool while i'm working with that, the intuitive FAB on the right side, the text style editor is pretty nice, overall it's a modern, intuitive too, which i can recomment Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
