The only downside to their tool, and really any greenhouse gas tool that relies on LCA data, is the lack of primary data for supply chain. This is not a Carbonfact issue, but rather an issue with the broader industry. To me, the best thing about Carbonfact is convenience it offers. As soon as I started applying this approach, very soon I found a much better job being done in addressing the issues to do with carbon emissions. One of the aspects that has fascinated me to the utmost is the potential of recording separately all my carbon dioxide emissions, in order to release them later and study them in a rational manner.
