Recommendations to others considering Capture One Pro:
If you don't need the adobe suite integration ( i don't need, since I use Affinity photo), I really recommends to switch to Capture one, it's far better in everything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What problems is Capture One Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've choose to buy Capture one in order to not to use the Adobe subscription program (i used Lightroom in the past).
Capture One proved to be better in everything then Lightroom, form the demosaicing engine and the color rendition, to the tools and instrument. I really like the way the tools and the regulations affects on the image, and the interface has a customizable UI ( i really love it, because I have a 2-monitor setup).
The thing I don't like so much are:
the UI is very customizable, but it is also a little bit messy
in the color correction section, there are a lot of tools ( i really love them, and I think they are far superior then Lightroom's ones), but it lack of a fast HSL regulation, that would permit a faster regulation.
I really love the skintone tools, I would like capture one to integrate the possibility of having a skintone indicator on the vectorscope (like da Vinci resolve), it would permit a faster skintone regulation.
The software runs well on my PC (HP Z420), and has a good GPU accelleration, but it needs a lot of RAM ( not so good on 8GB Laptop, very good on 32GB Ram Workstation).
I only noticed that the images exportation is slower then lightroom, but the quality is better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
