"Great and transparent product"
5/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

One of the new things I like about CaptivateIQ is the real-time visibility into earnings. Being able to access and track pay at any time during the month creates transparency and helps me stay informed and plan ahead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Overall, my experience with CaptivateIQ has been positive. One area for improvement would be ensuring data is refreshed as quickly and accurately as possible, as there are occasional discrepancies, though they are rare. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CaptivateIQ is the cleanest commission reporting!!!"
4/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

CaptivateIQ provides the most streamlined experience for tracking individual commission components. The standout for me is the interactive estimator, which lets me run 'what-if' models on pending deals to accurately forecast my earnings and quota attainment ahead of the close. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

The AE experience would benefit from a more modular dashboard. While the current layout is functional, it feels a bit 'one-size-fits-all.' I’d love the ability to customize my view by pinning specific territory metrics or historical data that are most relevant to my personal sales targets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"CaptivateIQ - Easy to use, responsive and concise!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

The platform has a very user-friendly interface and makes it easy to quickly access payout information.

I appreciate that it takes me directly to my commissions without unnecessary navigation.

The option to export statements as PDF or Excel files is a helpful feature as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

The platform works well overall, but a modernized UI refresh could enhance the user experience, as some parts of the interface are starting to feel a bit dated.

Maybe some AI to cleanup the data would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Clarity and Simplicity in Commission Tracking"
4/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I like that CaptivateIQ is easy and simple to see and understand. It gives me more clarity regarding the exact amount and charges, and what I will receive. CaptivateIQ helps me understand if there's anything wrong so I can clearly communicate any issues with the commissions to my leadership. Previously, I was in the dark regarding what I'd receive, but now I have a clear understanding. The initial setup was really easy because I just had to log in; most of the setup was already done, making it really simple with no issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

It's subtle, but sometimes when the month is finished and I click on it, the screen shows an animation like a congratulations. That animation can make my screen load in a slow mode. But it's really subtle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Using it to look at sales numbers. Knowing what accounts did what action and percent"
4.5/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

The best features are the quick access and home screens, which show the core numbers at a glance without having to dig around. The more streamlined it is, the better—if I want to know more, I can always dive in and look deeper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

At times, the information feels like it’s presented in a somewhat complicated way, which can make it harder to follow. However the more time you spend working through the numbers the easier the deep dives become. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Environment with Strong Commission Management"
4/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I use CaptivateIQ for plan management, commissions processing, and dashboard reporting. I appreciate how it provides visibility to the rep into live attainment and sales pacing. It also enables reps to simulate scenarios using the 'what if' calculators. As an admin, it helps in managing plan distribution and signing. I like the Excel-like environment, which makes it easier for a new hire to onboard. Additionally, I like the dashboard capabilities and report modeling. The 'what if' calculator is a bonus. "Easy Commission Plans and Helpful Support with a Great Knowledge Center"
4/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

CaptivateIQ makes it relatively easy to put together commission plans and statements. I am not very techy but am able to operate formulas and worksheets to calculate commissions correctly.

The Knowledge center within CaptivateIQ is very helpful when trying to resolve new challenges.

I have been very happy with the help I had required when submitting a support ticket. The people on the other side have been very helpful. They put the effort to understand what is the need and do their best to help with great suggestions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

There is clumsiness in the delivery of statements. Each annual plan has its own statement, making it difficult for the consumers (business development) to evaluate what they have been paid for, and what to expect in the near future. It would be great to be able to produce one statement across all plans, i.e. one statement for 2024, 2025 and 2026 plan years.

The other difficulty we have is understanding True Ups. CaptivateIQ calculates them correctly but they are not obvious to the consumer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Commission Calculations, Minor UI Hiccups"
5/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I think that CaptivateIQ is great in terms of some of its simplicity. It marries Excel with databases, which means that it's quite a lot more accessible for some of the admins in terms of being able to create and build new plans, such as new calculations, without needing an expert like some of the other tools. It's really good at being more accessible than the other tools out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

There's some small issues with the UI or the GUI. When you're typing in a formula and accidentally click off, you lose everything you're working on. Also, when you double-click onto a formula, it puts it on the side, and you can't scroll to look at column names. That can sometimes be a little bit annoying. But very minor Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Captivate IQ + Commission"
5/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

I love that it's an easy way to be able to understand how, what, when, and why I am being paid out the way that I am. I also love that I can kind of peer into the future and use this data accordingly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

Sometimes, the interface is a bit more complex/wonky than I anticipated but nothing that wasn't easy to adjust with a little bit of training. I do think UI/UX could still use clearer flows but it's not bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"My Favorite Tool (and it's not Salesforce)"
5/5
What do you like best about CaptivateIQ?

Before we got Captivate IQ, commission tracking was the single most stressful and time-consuming part of my job that didn’t involve closing a deal. Every month, I lost hours to “shadow accounting,” manually trying to match closed opportunities in Salesforce to my compensation plan and double-checking that everything lined up. Since we implemented Captivate IQ, that stress has disappeared. It’s turned commissions from a frustrating mystery into something clear, reliable, and genuinely motivating. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CaptivateIQ?

While the data itself is gold, the initial dashboard configuration can feel a bit dense. It took me a few weeks, plus some trial and error, to land on the best way to filter and customize the main view so it showed only the specific metrics I cared about, like monthly-only projections or progress on a specific SPIFF. The dashboard is incredibly powerful, but the learning curve for tailoring the view is steeper than the rest of the application. Once it’s set up, it feels perfect for what I need, but that first round of configuration could be smoother for the average IC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
