**What do you like best about Captivate Collective?**

What I like best about Captivate is is how genuinely kind and supportive they are while still bringing true thought leadership and deep expertise in customer advocacy. Every other week, we meet for a structured working session, and I send over an agenda of topics where I need ideas or guidance. They always come prepared, deliver thoughtful recommendations, and offer new perspectives I wouldn’t have considered on my own. Their combination of warmth, expertise, and reliability makes them an invaluable partner.

**What do you dislike about Captivate Collective?**

There isn't anything I dislike. My consultant provides so many brilliant, actionable recommendations that I often times need to take a break to decompress and digest the information in order to execute. Meeting with her is like drinking from the most amazing water hose!

**Recommendations to others considering Captivate Collective:**

Keep in mind that working with Captivate is investing in your investment. If you manage a community, start with their program review service where they look at all angles and provide a huge readout of recommendations. That's what prompted us to work with them on a long-term basis as I needed ongoing support to accomplish most of the tasks included in their review.

If I had to pick something, it’s that they tend to over-deliver in the best possible way. Sometimes you walk away with so much great input and creative thinking that it can feel a bit overwhelming to prioritize what to execute first.

**What do you like best about Captivate Collective?**

I really appreciate Captivate Collective's industry expertise and how they stay up to date with the landscape of the industry. Their organization keeps all our projects on track and they always deliver what they promise. They push us to innovate further and further, and I found their program migration, strategy workshops, and CAP Certification courses very helpful. The fact that they are always pushing the envelope of our work and innovating for the future is valuable. They continue to drive value after we reach our previous milestones and push us continually into the future.

What I appreciate most is their ability to translate abstract advocacy concepts into real systems, processes, and plays. They help me turn ideas into action—frameworks into workflows, stages into playbooks, goals into metrics. It’s the rare combination of strategy and execution.

**What do you dislike about Captivate Collective?**

What I dislike—if anything—is that sometimes the pace of our internal decision-making makes it hard to fully capitalize on their momentum. Their frameworks are strong, but integrating them across teams can take longer than expected, which occasionally creates a gap between vision and execution timing.

Captivate Collective is helping us solve three major challenges: defining a scalable, modern advocacy framework; aligning cross-functional teams around clear lifecycle stages; and operationalizing the systems, processes, and metrics needed to run a high-performing customer advocacy engine. Before working with them, our program relied heavily on tribal knowledge, inconsistent processes, and ad-hoc execution.

Their work has given us structure, clarity, and a shared language—especially around Lifecycle Advocacy Foundations, Scaled vs. Incubation solutions, and how advocacy ties into GTM impact. They’ve helped us map use cases, build a true advocate pipeline, and identify where Salesforce, SlapFive, and our internal trackers need to evolve to support scale.

The benefit is that I now have a clear pathway for maturing the program, stronger internal alignment, and a more strategic approach to capturing, developing, and activating advocates. It’s made the work more predictable, measurable, and easier to explain to executives, which in turn strengthens advocacy’s influence across the company.
