I like that CaptionHub is a solid platform for linguists working directly on multimedia content. The ability to apply our own guidelines, create templates, and perform bulk actions is very useful. The editor is friendly for localization purposes and the platform handles all of our 36 languages, which is impressive. I also appreciate how it allows for some automation through connectors and integrations with Cloudflare and Gdrive. Templates are a big plus as they let us apply certain styles to entire projects without configuring details each time, and we can publish videos and download SRT files in bulk for different projects and languages, which is efficient. The platform was fairly easy to start using, and the integrations weren't difficult to set up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Right now, the voiceover capabilities are rather disconnected. You cannot use them together with automation. There is no way for me to subtitle a video and also apply voice over and then be able to publish or download audio and text files in one go. Also, the seats you have are limited, so you need to be mindful of the people you have managing content, and linguists taking care of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
