A single record per boat brings together its engines and their hour meters, documents and their expiry dates, the safety equipment on board with the location, serial number and due date of every item, photos, supplier invoices and fuel purchases. Engine services can be set in hours, and an alert goes out as each threshold approaches and again once it is passed. A Deadlines screen gathers documents, safety equipment and engine services for the whole fleet, sorted by urgency. The fleet calendar covers bookings, cruises, work orders and time ashore, and warns about overlapping slots before anything is confirmed. In the workshop, work orders carry checklists, dated photos and recorded readings; recurring jobs can be scheduled from templates, and each job can be printed as a PDF sheet with signature boxes for the mechanic and the owner. On the staff side, employees clock in from their phone with their GPS position (required or optional per person), overtime is calculated per pay period, leave and sick leave are tracked, a monthly statement replaces clocking in for staff paid by the job, and per-employee summaries are exported to Excel for the accountant. The office, technicians, crews and owners each log in with their own account and permissions; owners only see their own boats, and reports and photos are shown to them once the company has approved them. Notes in discussion threads, comments on each job, and notifications in the app and on each user's phone keep everyone informed. AI reads supplier invoices, and on bulk uploads it suggests where each document belongs; a person checks it before anything is saved. The app is available in English and French, priced per user from EUR 5 per user per month, with a 30-day free trial. The founder spent years as a marine mechanic and yacht captain before setting up a marine service company in Mauritius, which runs on Captain Crews.
