"Mature Tool for Managing Complex Electrical Data and Reusing Designs Efficiently"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Capital?

What I appreciate most is how well it manges complex electrical data without everything turing into a mess. The data driven approach makes it much easier to resuse desgina from one project to the next, which saves time and keeps things consistent. I also depend on the reporting tools because they streamline desgin review and help move them along faster, it comes across as a mature tool thats clearly been around in the industry for a long time. The integrations with simulation tools are another plus, since they make validating desgins more straightforward than way we used to do it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Capital?

Performance could definitely be better. When I’m working on larger programs, it can lags at times, especially during data heavy operations and it feels slower than I’d expect. Even so, Capital is still a good option overall for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Capital’s Digital Thread Delivers Strong Traceability and Data Continuity"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Capital?

The concept of a digital thread is executed well. Its extremely helpful to be able to trace everything from individual connectors all the way up to full harness assemblies. Capital platform supports data continuity, which mattets a lot on larger projects where consistency is critical. The toolset also enables extraction and analytics, which helps with decision making. Integration with other applications is generally strong as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Capital?

Some integrations especially the out of the box ones aren’t as seamless as I expected. I often end up needing extra configuration or support to get evwrything working properly. Performance can also dip when I’m working with very large datasets, which slows things down. I also think it would be really helpful to compare it with other platforma to better understand where it stands. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Centralized Capital Dashboard Makes Harness Design and Early Simulation a Breeze"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Capital?

Capital makes circuit and harness desgin more efficient by keeping everything centralized in the Capital dashboard. The built in component library is practical and adding new parts is straightforward when we need to extend it. It also matters a lot me that this part of the Siemens portfolio support the end to end digital thread. I have also found the simulation features such as voltage drop analysis useful for validating desgins early on without having to rely on extra tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Capital?

Capital without full access the tool can feel a limited. It also some time to understand all modules and get confortable using all the features, so theres definitely a learing curve at the begining. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Manageable Deployment and Seamless Data Connectivity with Capital"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Capital?

From and IT operations perspective, Capital is very manageable. Deployment and straightforward and ongoing maintenance is easy to keep on top of. It also handles complex engineering data well, which is important for oue use cases. I especially like that information stays connected across the different applications, so it doesn’t feel fragemented. The built in integrations including REST/SOAP support, make it simplet to connect Capital with other enterprise systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Capital?

There are still gaps is how smoothly it connects with certain MBSE or modeling tools and some intergrations still require workarounds. Clearer, more detailed guidance on those integration steps would help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Capital Streamlines Circuit & Harness Design with Time-Saving Simulation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Capital?

Capital makes it easy to desgin circuits and harness systems within a single environment. The built in library is solid and adding new components is straightforward. It also matters to me that its part of the Siemens portfolio since that helps support and end to end digital thread. I appreciate the simulation capabilities as well things like voltage drop and circuit analysis because they save time during validation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Capital?

I use it everyday and haven’t run into any problems. That said, it would be much more useful if it included all the features by default. As it stands you need an additional license to unlock the full capabilities and without that it ends yo feeling a small limited. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Capital Keeps Our Wiring Projects Organized and Aligned with NX Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Capital?

Capital helps our team manage wiring and electrical desgins as part of our everyday office work. I rely on it each day and it keeps our project data well organized and straightforward to follow as work progresses. The integration with NX is another strong advantage for our workflow particularly when several teams are contributing to the same project and need to stay aligned. "Flexible Custom Properties and Strong NX Integration for Layout Validation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Capital?

One of the biggest advantages is being able to take older wiring with data and convert it into usable digital designs. The way custom properties are handled is flexible, we rely on it heavily to maintain our internal standards integration with NX is also a real plus particularly useful for layout validations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Capital?

I like that i can pull custom properties and then push additional custom properties back in. As an Admin for TC/NX/Capital, I really appreciate that flexibility especially because connecting external tools isn’t always plugged and play. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
