## Canvas LMS Reviews
 ### 1. Canvas LMS: Easy Modules, Smooth Integrations, and Reliable Performance

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dana F. | Librarin Media Specialist, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I like everything about Canvas LMS. I love how the modules are so easy to use and populate. I love how you can integrate edtech tools into Canvas. I love how you can schedule modules to open. I love how it performs, it's rarely down. I love the ease of use. Canvas support is also reliable and gets back to you in a timely manner.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

There needs to be templates so that staff members who are less tech savvy can just plug their content in and populate their class.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

So many problems! It's solving the biggest issue: communication. Announcements are right at the top, if you set up your class that way. You can schedule your classes to publish which alleviates the time you have t do that. You can have a collaborative calendar and a to do list so it reminds you of assignments coming up which aleviates the excuse of "I didn't know when it was due." It has a syllabus and rubric feature that I love. I just love it.

 ### 2. Canvas has stepped up its game in all areas! No laurels here...

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dennis D. | Education Consultant, Digital Services and AI Integration, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

It's easy to start using immediately. The user interface is friendly and forgiving.I’ve taught co-workers how to use it and I let my 11 year old play with it and she learned quickly how to make posters for school. It was very easy for her to navigate! It seems like they are adding new features to Canvas every quarter. They are innovating in the education space , and I love it! Ilm learning how to use integrations quickly. It performs on PC, Chromebook, and Mac pretty well. no complaints there. The pricing must be competitive because the bought it for the entire district. I have not needed support, yet. My co-workers who have used support said it was fast and easy. The AI integration into Canvas is new to me. It feels pretty easy to use, so far.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I cannot think of a single thing that I do not like about Canvas. That being said, I will share this. For some reason, when I try to use Canvas on a promethean smart board, the browser app tends to crash when I use Canvas. I don't know if that is the board, the browser, or Canvas.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating other teachers' ideas, my work from previous campuses, and easily sharing it on the network with teachers, parents, and students makes my life so much easier. I'm not messing with converting files or making sure other files are shared with X group. This saves us time working on lessons and reduces the amount of time we need to remain in meetings to organize assignments across subjects, and sometimes, even entire grade levels!

 ### 3. A Useful Tool for Managing College Coursework

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Danielle M. | Student, Higher Education, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

What I like most about Canvas is that everything for my classes is in one place. It makes it easy to keep track of assignments, deadlines, grades, and announcements without having to dig through emails or multiple platforms. Once you get used to it, Canvas helps you stay organized and on top of your work, which is a huge help as a student.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

One thing I don’t love about Canvas is that it really depends on how each instructor sets up their course. Some classes are super clear and organized, while others can feel confusing or cluttered. Discussion boards can also get overwhelming at times, and it sometimes takes a few extra clicks to find what you’re looking for.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas solves the problem of managing multiple classes and deadlines at the same time. Instead of trying to keep track of everything separately, it puts all course materials, assignments, and communication in one place. This makes staying organized easier, lowers stress, and helps me focus more on actually learning rather than just keeping track of what’s due.

 ### 4. Canvas LMS is a great tool for students and teachers

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aneelah K. | Independent Learner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

The way Canvas LMS is organized makes it very easy to use and complete school assignments. They have separate modules and assignments which are able to be locked by date, keeping students on track. Canvas has a built in inbox, allowing students to easily email their professors or teachers. Canvas Studio is a great feature in which a video plays, periodically pausing so that students can answer questions in the middle. This allows for educational videos to become interactive, and for students to get an easy grade.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

It is optional for professors if they wish to implement lockdown browser or not, and when they don't, it is easy for students to navigate to another tab and search the answers on google or use AI. And sometimes, the average on canvas is different from the actual class average because the class takes paper exams or completes other in person assignments, so canvas is not aware of the added grades and cannot make the necessary changes. In the beginning, Canvas LMS was very confusing to use, and sometimes I thought assignments were published while in fact they were not, and the students were not able to complete the work.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before I started using canvas, grades used to take very long to be put into the gradebook, but if the instructor allows the grades to be shown, canvas puts them into its own database immediately. And if there is an important issue the instructor needs to address, canvas allows them to send an announcement to the students. Using canvas has solved these two issues, making grades more accessible and making it easier to send out urgent information if necessary.

 ### 5. Effortless Integration and User-Friendly Navigation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Saadia F. | Instructor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

The platform is easy to navigate and highly user-friendly, with seamless integration of other instructional software. It allows instructors to build and curate a reusable lecture video library that can be applied across multiple courses and semesters. The ability to easily import and replicate course shells from one Canvas section to another significantly streamlines course setup and reduces preparation time. Having worked extensively with Moodle, Blackboard, and Canvas, I consistently find Canvas to be the most intuitive and efficient learning management system for both instructors and students.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Inbox messages on Canvas can sometimes get lost and are easy to miss, and notifications are not always received in a timely manner. Additionally, when group assignments and peer reviews are auto-assigned, students often experience ambiguity about where to find their assigned groups or how to access the peer review content, and at times struggle to locate the correct links to review their peers’ work.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Canvas most effectively solves these instructional and logistical challenges, enabling me to design organized, student-centered courses

 ### 6. Vital Tool for Student-Centric Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Denise J. | Director of Online Learning, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I use Canvas LMS to design, organize, and deliver our online courses for neurodivergent students. I appreciate how it helps create structured, predictable course environments with accessible materials and consistent layouts. Canvas allows us to structure content into clear modules and embed instructional videos and interactive resources that support different learning styles. I like using Canvas to communicate with students, provide detailed feedback, and monitor their engagement and progress. We utilize the Canvas Studio feature for video recordings and creations, enabling our students to use text, upload, audio, or video to demonstrate their knowledge. Canvas Studio is particularly valuable because it transforms video into an interactive learning tool with embedded quizzes, captions, and time-stamped comments.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

There are a few features that could be improved. The course design interface (RCE, HTML) can feel complex for new instructors and IDs, particularly managing modules, pages, assignments, and the gradebook. The gradebook is powerful but can also be confusing when dealing with assignment groups, weighting, and different grading policies. Some collaboration and workflow features for course development teams could be stronger. A more robust collaborative editing tool would be useful. Search and replace - it is tedious to look through every page when making blanket modifications that would be easier with a built-in search and replace feature.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS helps structure content into clear modules, supports interactive resources, and caters to different learning styles, enhancing course organization and student communication. It creates a structured learning environment with accessible materials, benefiting neurodivergent students.

 ### 7. Canvas LMS: A Central Hub with Flexible Course Design and Strong App Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas LMS provides a good centralized location for sharing instructional materials, content, assessments, and other information. It allows for custom pages, mastery paths, and linear course progression as well. It integrates well with many other educational apps.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

There is a significant learning curve for new users, especially for teachers/instructors. Some of the integrative features, especially Google, can be challenging to work with. From an admin perspective, the Google Drive integration can be particularly tricky and has, at times, required some dev tools tricks to work on some student Chromebooks to get the integration to fully work. Support was not very helpful with these particular cases, getting circular in their suggestions.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has been helpful in providing online content management for teachers, along with a central platform for providing professional development for staff.

 ### 8. Sleek, Intuitive, and Customizable—My Top Choice for LMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hyacinth B. | Assistant Professor/Research Assistant II, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I've used three Learning Management Systems in the last five years, and Canvas LMS is my favorite among the three both as a student and as an instructor. The Canvas environment looks sleek, and is very easy to navigate. At a glance, you will see lots of things at once - dashboard, settings, announcements, reminders, inbox, etc. They are not distracting and overwhelming. As an instructor, I have much liberty to design my Canvas shell to be as interactive and easy-to-follow for my students.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

There’s very little that I dislike about Canvas. At first, I was concerned about not being able to save templated comments for students, which would have been especially helpful when handling group projects. Fortunately, this issue has since been resolved. I can now save comments and reuse them whenever needed.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my current role, accessibility is highly prioritized. Canvas LMS offers a flexible platform that allows for the integration of third-party tools. This means faculty members do not have to switch between different software to fulfill the university's compliance requirements. Features such as plagiarism detection, accessibility checks, and other scans can be embedded directly within the system. Additionally, Canvas provides options to accommodate various file transformers, enabling both students and faculty to download files in formats that best suit their learning or teaching needs.

 ### 9. Canvas Sets the Standard for Student-Centric Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nick C. | Business Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas is the leading LMS in the market for a reason. While it's not perfect, they're constantly delivering new features and take customer feedback into account. Canvas is a very student-centric LMS, but also has a strong feature set for teachers and administrators.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

While Canvas eventually will massage and tweak features based on customer feedback, often initial feature releases miss the mark. They have some work to do when it comes to consulting with actual end users before releasing a new feature.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas not only provides us an LMS for our academic courses, but it also provides a place for other departments and campus organizations to house ongoing training content for their staff and student workers.

 ### 10. Centralized Learning, Streamlined Submissions

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yokiko P.

**Reviewed Date:** December 25, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I like how Canvas LMS keeps everything in one place, making it easy to track assignments, due dates, and grades without searching through emails. I also appreciate that it simplifies assignment submission by allowing me to submit work online. The grades and feedback tools are valuable because I can quickly check my performance and see comments from my teachers instead of waiting until the end of the term. Additionally, the initial setup of Canvas LMS was quite easy for me.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

One thing that doesn't work as well is how different every class can feel on Canvas. Since each teacher sets up their course differently, it can get confusing trying to find assignments or materials when nothing is in the same place. I think the mobile app could be improved. It can be slow at times, and some features are easier to use on the website than on the app.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS organizes all my schoolwork, helping me keep track of assignments, due dates, and grades. It simplifies submitting work online, preventing late submissions. Everything is in one place, so I don't miss any updates or materials.

 ### 11. Easy-to-Use App That Makes Student Feedback Possible Anywhere

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Evan K. | Associate Learning Facilitator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

This mobile app is easy to use and gives me the ability to provide feedback to students anytime, anywhere.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

The app crashes quite a lot during busy times like weekend

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s providing a great connector between educators and students

 ### 12. Canvas review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dheeru R. | Any, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I really appreciate Canvas LMS for its user-friendly interface and flexibility, which make teaching and learning smoother and more efficient. The clean design and intuitive navigation allow educators to set up courses, manage assignments, and communicate with students quickly, reducing the learning curve for both new and experienced users. I also find the robust accessibility and inclusivity features impressive. These include support for screen readers, alternative text for images, keyboard navigation, and adjustable text sizes, which helps students with diverse needs participate fully in online courses. Canvas adheres to international accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.1, ensuring that content is accessible to all users. Additionally, I find the seamless integration with third-party tools and software extremely useful. Canvas works well with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office 365, and popular educational tools like Turnitin and Gradescope.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I find that Canvas LMS has a steep learning curve, especially for advanced features. It's overwhelming for new users and takes significant time to master. The interface is sometimes overly complex, with too many layers of menus and options, making navigation challenging. Additionally, there are occasional technical glitches like assignments being erased if the due date isn’t set at midnight and audio recording problems that hinder communication.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS provides a centralized and flexible platform for teaching and learning, streamlining the educational process. I appreciate its user-friendly interface that simplifies course management. It also features robust accessibility, supporting diverse student needs with tools like screen readers and keyboard navigation.

 ### 13. Streamlined Training, Expensive Licenses

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaajal S. | Director of Training & Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I like how Canvas LMS provides structured training, assignments, and quizzes, which is beneficial for our non-profit organization's training programs. Making trainings available asynchronously is a great feature. I appreciate the structure and ease of adding students to training, as it streamlines the process without jumping through hoops. Additionally, the ability to act as a user for troubleshooting enhances our efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I don't like that every student requires a license, even if they drop out mid-way. This ends up becoming very expensive. I also find it frustrating that Canvas Studio, which is supposed to be great, costs a lot extra. This means if we upload/embed any YouTube videos, they come with ads and we cannot see whether or not the videos were watched in their entirety.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS provides structured training with assignments and quizzes, sends announcements, and categorizes students. It allows asynchronous training, useful for onboarding. The ease of adding students and acting as users to troubleshoot streamlines our monthly training process.

 ### 14. Highly Customizable Canvas for Organizing a Digital Classroom

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Erin J. | Librarian, Primary/Secondary Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas is highly customizable, but that also means you have to put in a lot of work to make it feel truly personalized. Even so, it’s a great way to organize a digital classroom, and the tools within it are continually being improved.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas isn’t very intuitive. I consider myself pretty tech-savvy, but it often feels like I have to re-teach myself different parts of the program each time I use it. Also, unless you add buttons or other extras to your homepage, the default modules don’t feel very personalized.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas is my digital classroom and the best way for me to communicate with both students and parents. I can manage everything I do through Canvas, which keeps my day-to-day work organized and in one place.

 ### 15. Excellent Learning Management System

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marie S. | Computer Science Teacher, Education Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2020

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas is an amazing LMS. I have been using it for over 10 years now and I highly recommend it. It allows my students to do everything in one location. I can always add projects, files and grade assignments and transfer grades to Powerschool. Students have access to their assignments when they are absent from school and it is reachable on a computer, Chromebook, tablet or cellphone.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Technical support is sometimes slower than desired.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Students are able to access their daily classroom assignments and files using Canvas.

 ### 16. Easy Interface, But New Tools Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

The interface is straightforward and generally accessible, making it easy to get started. Many third-party tools, like Anthology Ally, integrate smoothly within Canvas. The platform is simple to learn, and the layout remains uncluttered, which helps with navigation.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Some of the recently introduced tools, like the new quiz tool and the updated discussion tool, seem to be third-party integrations rather than native features of Canvas. I find the new quiz tool more difficult to review, and it also appears to have some accessibility concerns. Also lacks a native search features, you have to get an expensive third party tools that integrates in canvas to do that. Also should make language attributions easy for faculty to avoid fiddling in the html editor.
Also customer support non existent. I also wish AI could be integrated in discussions to act as a moderator or grader.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Give a platform for students and faculty that is fairly simple to use and fairly accessible. It is also fairly easy to review for accessibility.

 ### 17. Great LMS for Managing Modules, Grades, and Exams

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

It is a nice study LMS software, where I can locate my all study modules, grades and can take exams on it.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

The user interface may be improved further, as some modules are difficult to find. Besides, it may include AI bot that makes students' research on the platform easier.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS helps organize courses, assignments, and communication in one place. Before it was difficult to track deadlines and materials from different sources. Now everything is in one system, so it makes studying and submitting work easier and more organized.

 ### 18. Easy Integration with Cengage and Pearson

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

It is easy to combine with other platforms such as Cengage and Pearson.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

It is not able to send an email to other users; it only allows messaging within Canvas.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me keep all my materials in one place, and it’s easy to manage everything at the same time.

 ### 19. Using Canvas for Elementary School

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melody C. | T, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas LMS has an interface that is relatively easy to figure out.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

There is limited customization available. It’s also difficult to easily make Google Drive assignments to students.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hopefully it is improving assignment management and making it easier to handle assignments from external places.

 ### 20. All In One LMS For EDU

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Primary/Secondary Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I like the fact that Canvas is all inclusive and affords users/learning professionals the opportunity to build multiple learning paths for learners. They are also one of the few LMS available that offer internal badging through their own credentialing system, folder creation to organize content and levels, and mastery learning settings to make sure that learners prove they understand content before moving on to the next folder /content. This makes it one of the best and all around encompassing LMS platforms available.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Not much honestly. Setup takes time as with anything. Organizing your content for learners and how they will interact with it takes some time and requires thoughtful planning. I do wish the internal badging system was a little cleaner and allowed users to create badges without the addition of tools like credly or badgr. That way you could upload your own images/gifs to make badges more engaging.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas helps manage learning content into a robust online platform, helping keep learners organized while also making learning more engaging, interactive, and personalized.

 ### 21. Intuitive Interface, Great for Collaboration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Meghanadh S. | Editor

**Reviewed Date:** December 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I use Canvas LMS for collaboration work with my colleagues. I find the collaboration tools and analytics really helpful. I appreciate the easy progress tracking and analytics as both students and instructors find the clean, simple interface easy to use for activities like accessing course materials, submitting assignments, and checking grades. Canvas LMS supports continuous learning and upskilling.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I find technical issues, accessibility barriers, and content readability challenges for dyslexic and non-native English speakers to be problematic. There are also concerns about depersonalization and privacy.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Canvas LMS for collaboration with my colleagues. The collaboration and analytical tools help solve issues, making it easy to track progress and support continuous learning.

 ### 22. Canvas by Instructure for online education

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlotte M. | Head of Specialist Projects , Insurance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

The Canvas learning management system is incredibly easy to use, with a great user interface to make navigating course material very quick and simple! I personally use the platform for accessing my PeopleCert educational resources. Having all materials in one location helps to keep track of progress.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

As yet, there is no MacOS-compatible app for Canvas which restricts me to tablet and browser access. Hopefully, an app will be released shortly to address this!

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a personal user of Canvas LMS, having all my educational resources relating to Project Management, Risk Management, and now AI tools makes tracking progress and results very easy. I can readily plan what modules to complete and when, to keep making steps towards completion of each course.

I love how Canvas LMS helps me track my assignments and keeps me organized. It's easy to read and use, which is crucial for managing my school workload efficiently. I particularly appreciate the grades section, which allows me to see my grades with ease. The initial setup was very easy and the platform is quite accessible, making it an excellent tool for educational purposes.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Sometimes teachers aren't as organized on Canvas LMS, making it difficult to navigate. It lacks user-friendly controls for teachers to activate necessary features like the grading system.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Canvas LMS helps me track assignments, stay organized, and easily view my grades.

 ### 25. Streamlined Course Management, Effortless Setup

I like Canvas LMS for its ability to provide all the information necessary to take a course and provide online access to courses and management. I find it easy to work with and appreciate its user-friendly interface. It somehow saves time and makes online studies possible. The setup of Canvas LMS was also easy.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

It takes time for one to maneuver through.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS provides easy access to learning and teaching courses, saving time and making online studies possible.

 ### 26. Robust and User-Friendly LMS for Seamless Learning Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arun Prakash S. | Technical Trainer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 15, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I like that Canvas LMS offers a clean, intuitive interface that’s easy for both instructors and learners to navigate. The course organization tools, rich content editor, and built-in communication features make it simple to design engaging learning experiences. Its mobile app is well-optimized, ensuring students can access materials and participate from anywhere. Integration with third-party tools like Zoom, Google Drive, and plagiarism checkers adds even more flexibility, and the analytics give clear insight into learner progress and engagement.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

While Canvas LMS is powerful, some advanced features have a steeper learning curve for new instructors, and the speed of the interface can slow down when working with large courses or heavy media content. The reporting and analytics, while useful, could be more customizable for deeper insights. Additionally, certain integrations require extra setup steps or technical assistance, which may be challenging for non-technical users.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS helps centralize all course materials, assignments, assessments, and communication in one place, making it easier to manage learning at scale. It streamlines content delivery, grading, and feedback, reducing administrative overhead for instructors and improving access for learners. The platform’s integrations with tools like Zoom, Google Drive, and plagiarism checkers save time and ensure a smoother learning experience. This leads to better learner engagement, improved tracking of progress, and more efficient course management overall.

 ### 27. Centralized Course Management, User-Friendly Yet Buggy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mani K. | Team lead

**Reviewed Date:** December 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I like the mobile accessibility and third-party integration with Canvas LMS. The courses and communication are well-organized, making them easy to manage. The core interface and initial setup are user-friendly, which is a big plus.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I'm sometimes confused by the navigation, and there are some technical glitches. Upload problems can occur occasionally. I also find grading and content linking issues, and it can sometimes be confusing in course setup and logics.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS centralizes courses, assessments, grading, and communication, streamlining our educational process.

 ### 28. Solid Analytics and Versatile Learning Options

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Tracking analytics feature, multimedia approach to learning, different LMS models for orgs of different sizes

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Hard to copy a course and use as a template for a new one

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps to compile all training material for new hires as well as current employees and keep everything in place + manageable

 ### 29. Working with Canvas LMS

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chris D. | Threat Assessment Coordinator/HIB Compliance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas is a great platform for developing trainings and programs. It's fairly intuitive and provides a simple format for entering content and provides a variety of methods that give the student or participant options to interact. Incorporating content like videos, podcasts, program files is easy and there are a variety of ways that it can be displayed on the page.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

There are lots of applications that can run in the background when you are using Canvas. One of the challenges is not having administrative rights that are required when you set up a program to run in the background. This limits some of your ability to link badges, surveys and other material unless you have admin access rights.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas provides the opportunity to expand the learning opportunity for participants. I use Canvas as a foundation for training opportunities. Participants start on Canvas, complete assignments, participate in discussions and complete quizzes to gauge content retention and provide feedback on material that was covered in the modules. Participants that complete the Canvas course participate at a higher level than participants who attend an in person program alone.

 ### 30. Canvas: an LMS that is intuitive and authentically enhances the educational experience.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Terrance C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 24, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

1. Canvas is simple to use on all levels, with a clear user interface regarding task fulfillment and making modifications
2. Canvas Commons has been an excellent resource to find a community of practice and find inspiration for instructional design
3. Canvas partners with a variety of external tools that are easy to understand in terms of implementation

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

While Canvas includes an outcomes feature to enable learning outcome assessment on a course-by-course basis, any attempt to do program or institution level assessment has to be manually gleaned from each course as there is no overarching tool for this. At the same time, outcomes in the rubrics can be given different levels of mastery, but it is not possible to write about what composes each level of mastery.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS has helped consolidate all of the features students need to successfully navigate their courses while also being easy to set up. It has also simplified the storage of content that we need for staff training and professional development.

 ### 31. A Transformative Approach to Online Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey C. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

What I like the most about using Canvas is the ability to run my class from start to finish within the system. This includes the ease at which I can incorporate outside tools into the Canvas ecosystem, either through integrations or through student work submissions. I use this regularly in my teaching, both as the textbook and workbook for my students' learning.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

One thing I wish could improve, and I know is being worked in, is the implementation of both feature requests and fixes. I have seen both shared by users for years without a clear directive on whether either might get worked on. One downside is the steeper learning curve to beginners. A lot of options presented up front (partially due to how my district administers Canvas) can be overwhelming.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The curriculum I teach is offered through another service, but it has significant limitations for general K-12 use. Almost as if it was built by designers with a business background rather than an education background. When my own district moved to Canvas, I was excited as I had experience with it and knew it would solve a lot of my concerns about some alternative options that were more simplistic in my opinion. While the initial setup of my curriculum obviously takes time, I feel like I have saved time overall by using Canvas.

 ### 32. 10 year user

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Laura K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Easy to use. Setting up Courses is easy. I am both an admin and an instructor and love both sides of the product. I have used other LMS setups and Canvas is the easiest to use and build course content so far.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

They implement changes at the start of a semester when all is chaotic and faculty and students have to scramble to adjust. Sometimes we have a choice in when a tool or feature is released and we can plan ahead, and sometimes there is just an "it's on now." That doesn't work well with education.

L1 Canvas Support has significantly decreased in quality over the last few years. As admins, we used to have the ability to bump a ticket directly to L2, and now we have to pay to go through another training in order to get that ability back.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

How to help working students finish their education in a timely manner. Our athletics and special programs departments have support programs set up for students in Canvas shells.

 ### 33. Great LMS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jessica Z. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I love the ease of use. I am fairly new to the platform (about a year of use so far) and it was incredibly easy to figure out with very minimal training. I love that there are always new and exciting additions coming out, and our CSM (JB) is AMAZING and always so helpful!!

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Something I would like to see is a way to have better "set it and forget it" type programs. For example, we have a partnership with the local circuit court and we provide a mandatory training program for all court appointment non-professional/family guardians. We currently use a program called Thinkific because is easier for non-student learners to navigate. We have various modules that consist of video lectures followed by small assessment quizzes.

Additional features that would help: I would love to see a way to force the students to spend 8-hours in the course before being able to complete it. As well as turning off a student's ability to fast forward through videos.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am the director of our University's Professional Education department. We create and run non-degree, non-credit revenue generating programs, with bout 90% of them being offered online. Canvas and Canvas Catalog have been amazing at allowing us to give non-university students access to these programs.

 ### 34. Canvas LMS: A Game-Changer for Modern Learning

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karina R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas LMS has transformed the way teachers and students learn. The interface is user-friendly at all levels, and the features offer such a variety of options that anyone, from non-techie to experts in technology can use. I love that with Canvas, students enter their learning environment and can get everything they need, from curriculum to assessments, feedback, badges and more. All within one platform thanks to the platforms seamless integration with educational partners. In addition, the Help feature is excellent, allowing teachers and staff to easily and quickly chat or call tech support. As the Root Admin, I am in continuous communication with the Canvas team to grow in our implementation and provide professional development to my teams. My Canvas portal is open 24/7. Whether you are teaching in person or virtually, Canvas is the perfect learning management system.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I see no downsize to using Canvas. However, sometimes the upgrades I want take a little long to get implemented. With that said, I appreciate the care that goes into making sure that when new features are deployed, they have minimal bugs.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas solves the problem of having to access multiple platforms for curriculum, assignments, and assessment.

 ### 35. Canvas is flexible, intuitive and always evolving

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeremy B. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Most helpful from an administrative perspective is far and away the Blueprint process and functionality. It streamlines content deployment, supports standardization where necessary, and helps us ensures key student experience elements (e.g., due dates) are always up to date. Through my lens as an instructor, what I most appreciate about Canvas and find helpful, is the flexibility - by this, I mean, the ways in which I can work ahead (posting items to be released later, as well as working in real-time). Likewise, the speedgrader environment is helpful, reliable, and makes grading as painless as perhaps grading will ever be.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I'm uncertain if this is accurate, however, what I dislike most is that we're allowed one contact through whom we're able to communicate with instructure. While my designated colleague is brilliant and tuned in to the institution's mission, he's also spread thin and, for that reason, we're often not "up" on current information, nor can we seek solutions directly. Being able to designate secondary and tertiary admins would be a big win.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas has helped us solve the challenge of adjunct faculty training by giving us an authentic home for an instructor-facing workshop. Using self-enroll links and a loose integration with Vector, we've been able to eliminate a troublesome bottleneck in onboarding.

 ### 36. Flexible Course Design and Positive Student Learning

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Melissa K. | Instructional Design Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I like the flexible interconnected options for course design and the ability to integrate tools to support student learning, accessibility, interaction, and university branding and templates.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Some improvements are deployed that have not been fully developed or sufficiently tested by educators in the trenches, resulting in issues that should have been resolved before the improvements go live. For example, New Quizzes should have matched and exceeded the features of Classic Quizzes and supported the migration of question banks to item banks before it was deployed. The new folder view just deployed got rid of one of its best features -- the tree folder view.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas is providing a way for us to collect program assessment data through Canvas Outcomes. It provides a consistent means of managing course assignment submissions, feedback, and grades. It also helps provide the space for students to engage asynchronously in learning together through assignment peer reviews, discussion forums, and LTIs.

 ### 37. Canvas Continues to Be Excellent

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frederick K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2018

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I love that Canvas continues to be stable while continually changing. I like how it integrates with Studio and other external tools. I like that Instructure seems genuinely to want to update and improve the product. I like that Canvas does not punish users for experimenting/playing. Even after all this time, there's a certain playfulness to the system that is very rewarding and welcoming.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

There is very little in Canvas that I dislike, and most of those things are very minor design things ("hiding" Bulk Dates in Assignments, as well as Weights). I would like for the Syllabus tool to have a "Page History" like Pages do (the RCE part of it, I mean). Overall, Canvas was the prettiest LMS when we adopted it, but there's an increasing need for design tools to continue to beautify and customize it. I think the new Block Editor will help with that!

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas keeps everything basically in one place: grades, materials, books, assessments--everything. Canvas is a great central hub, even when instructors are using third party platforms. Easy integration with LTI tools has helped greatly. Canvas provides a relatively uniform platform for all of our students to use. I'd love for it to be even more uniform from class to class, but instructors want more design independence. Since we adopted Canvas, instructor adoption of the tool in general and all of its sub-tools has risen considerably.

 ### 38. LMS for a Small Rural School

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenna E. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I love that Canvas is able to be used starting with our kindergarteners all the way through our seniors. It is nice to be able to use one platform for our LMS all the way through. The families can start learning it from day one and then they are comfortable with it throughout.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

The thing that has been most frustrating about Canvas is losing our personal connection with a CSM and getting that personal feedback about updates, staying involved, and really being able to help our district with our needs. I also get frustrated with the amount of additional products Canvas wants to push us to buy. I would rather focus on the core suite and then if they think something is that important add it into the core suite.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to use lots of the features in quizzes to prepare students for the rigor and look of standardized testing. It also allows us to provide and implement personalized learning for our students. We also enjoy the accessibility features it utilizes and allows us to streamline for our students.

 ### 39. Canvas Is Dope!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaley K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I like the organization features in Canvas. Being able to set up modules for ease of access has been great for our students as well as our adult learners/staff. Support is amazing - the support team is very kind and is always willing to help (even if your question is stupid - or you think it is stupid). It was very easy to implement at our school and the students adopted it quickly, as well as the staff. For many of our users, it is used daily and really helps students and staff stay current with assignments and to-do lists. We use single-sign on with Google, so it is easy to sign on and students cannot forget their password!

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I do not have anything to put here because I really like Canvas.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps us organize are Professional Learning courses for adults (staff) and allows students to access their school content wherever they are and whenever they are ready to learn.

 ### 40. Canvas is better than most

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cameron A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas is easy to use and allows for institutional standardization. On the other hand you could leave many elements of the platform open for the individual to customize. The biggest improvement that has occurred in recent updates include making the pages, or content easier to edit. This no longer requires advance or in some cases any HTML coding or know how. Another feature that is particularly useful is the accessibility checker, while it is not perfect it does catch most issues or at least gives the user an idea of what areas need to be examined. Some of the other elements that I enjoy is the ability to make courses as simple or complicated as you like. The ability to use publisher integrations is also a plus.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

The platform is buggy when it comes to using Apple based products, specifically Safari Browser. An example is New Quizzes sometimes has issues with loading content. Even after fixes were implemented the issue appears randomly for some users. Another issue that can be frustrating is that the Canvas App and the desktop version can occasionally not replicate assignments or pages accurately. Finally, the content previewer is often confused by instructors and students as being an exact mirror image of content loaded. However, some content is not rendered exactly as loaded, thus some users who need proper formatting will find this feature less than useful.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to quickly update and integrate professional development trainings without impacting all users. The biggest lift for our use is the Catalog feature, allowing for self-service and the ability to load in Storyline projects.

 ### 41. Davis school District canvas review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachelle H. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

What I like most about canvas is that it’s pretty easy to use students and teachers alike can can access it and walk through it. It also is crate continuity in our school district. We have all junior high in high school that use it and we also have some elementary that use it as well. I like the ability to bring in LTi and it just makes a a great place for content and creating accessibility for students.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

What I find least helpful is as an admin when you call in and getting on that level one calls, which sometimes they don’t seem to know or have the knowledge to help you

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

What I find probably the best thing it does for solving problems is that it’s it’s just a great place where you can store all your content and we’re a huge district. We have over 70,000 students so it’s a great place to store content for all of our users and teachers and student

 ### 42. Great, for the lack of better word

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Milad M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Ever since we implemented Canvas at our Institution, the number of tickets we receive for course support decreased significantly, this means professors know how to get their way around Canvas, and get things done on their own faster, which also means they have more time focusing on the subject they teach. It's been revolutionary.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I like the classic Quizzes compared to the New Quiz. I wished Instructure would work on improving the Classic Quiz than introducing a new engine.
Additionally, I wish Canvas had more features for in-house tools, like the Attendance, etc.
Also more submission types would be great, like forms. I know a workaround is to use Quizzes, but having a native form as a submission would be better.
Otherwise Canvas is great.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The intuitivity of Canvas and being able to learn on your own is the most important thing that improved at hour Institution.

 ### 43. Intuitive LMS

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Higher Education | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas is pretty beginner friendly. I recently started a role where we use Canvas and I caught on pretty quickly. There are still elements I do not understand, but overall it is pretty intuitive. We also use Canvas for almost everything. We are thinking of using it for an online review process we conduct.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Something I do not enjoy is having two different quiz types. I work with faculty and they find these two quizzes very confusing. If there was a way to pull the best features from both types of quizzes to make one type, that may be better.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Because it is so widely used in my school district, when we have new faculty there is little barrier to entry. Even for those who have never used Canvas, it seems there is an ease of use. As always, there are hiccups, but nothing we can't solve.

 ### 44. The Good and the Interesting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cathy L. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

I like the simplicity of the student view and the ease of publishing or not publishing activities. Another thing I like is that students can predict their grades (if instructors have setup the gradebook correctly) and know their progress in a course. Last, another like is that the rubric is attached to the assignment and students can clearly see how they will be graded.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

I think that the least helpful thing about Canvas is the 2 quizzing options. It is confusing to know which one is going to work best and where the question/item banks are held. Another thing I dislike about Canvas is the number of add-ons you need to subscribe to so that your courses are inviting and atheistic in appearance.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas is holding all out higher education coursework and allowing students to access the content for the courses they have registered for.

 ### 45. 14 years and counting...

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher Y. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas has been a great way for us to leverage the multitude of open resources that are gathered and used in classrooms. The array of tools to engage students make the experience extremely valuable to enhance student learning. The changes in analytics make it easier to communicate when there are areas of concern or to provide praise to both students and parents.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Nothing specifically to Canvas, but more the workflow within our institution of archiving and removing inactive users within our district. We have not perfected that process to help keep our account clean.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have recently acquired Mastery Connect to help drive our understanding of student learning progression according to standards rather than the traditional mindset of subjectively assigned grades. This will help us modify curriculum, adjust instructional strategies, and better hone in on the learning needs of students.

 ### 46. Progressive, Innovative, Engaging

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Flexibility, the ability to interact with many tools extending the options available to Faculty, staff and students.Canvas has the very best online training for all users I have ever encountered. I use it often training faculty and staff and students. Regardless of the role the training is superior. It is so good we can trouble shoot most issues. When we do end up escalating something to Canvas it is because we have exhausted the resources already available.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

There are still some features within the many suggestions that would be beneficial for the community. Listening to your customers is one of the best options you have...they just might surprise you!

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a platform to present courses for all our students in a uniform format, a methodology to train and support the community, a way to support our continuing education.

 ### 47. Organize Your Chaos with Canvas

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shane D. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

The most helpful part of Canvas is the way that it allows faculty to organize course materials in a way that makes sense to students. Faculty can pull all the chaotic ideas they have and place them in Canvas to make a streamlined approach to learning the content.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

The activity tracker on the People page could be more dynamic. And why isn't the people page sortable/filterable? I'd like to go to the roster and see who hasn't interacted in the course by clicking a sort button or filter button. And the user details show how many times a student has accessed an item but it loses the granular details of when they accessed the item first, last, last week, etc.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas primarily solves the issue of tracking who has accessed content, what content they have accessed, and assessment.

 ### 48. Canvas the best LMS for Teaching and Learning!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keyra W. | Digital Support Specialist, Higher Education, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas is easily accessible and customizable for all kinds of institutions. I know specifically about how it is used in Higher Education from both a student, teacher, and support admin perspective. There are always new features being introduced and Instructure stays on top of the current trends in both Higher Ed and K-12. I feel like I am always learning something new about Canvas which is fantastic. Customer Support is always easy to work with.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Since Canvas is always on top of current trends and introducing new features, I feel like sometimes all of the changes can be overwhelming or it is disappointing when a feature you become accustomed to disappears. But, that is the nature of Technology. It's not really a dislike though.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas is helping my team support the Teaching and Learning efforts at Georgia Tech!

 ### 49. Great for Course Delivery

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allyssa M. | Director of Recruitment - GCS, Higher Education, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

Canvas is an easy platform to utilize for course delivery. It is organized well and is also user friendly for students.

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Limitations on integration with other software.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canvas LMS is helping us deliver college courses to students. They are relatively easy to setup and manage on the instructor side, but also easy for students to utilize once they join a class.

 ### 50. User Friendly for Faculty and Admins

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Halea K. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Canvas LMS?**

We have been using Canvas since COVID. We've found it to be a relatively easy interface for faculty to learn. The consistency of buttons and structures across the platform is helpful

**What do you dislike about Canvas LMS?**

Then Canvas breaks the consistency - for instance something auto saving in one place but not on a different page. We don't like when new features (new quizzes) are build at LTIs rather than as native to the system, as it creates lot of small bugs and is harder to troubleshoot. I don't like the system for suggesting new features - it feels like they are building things we don't need and ignoring glaring issues that faculty need.

**What problems is Canvas LMS solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to provide a consistent platform for student usage, allowing for them to focus on their class content rather than navigating courses.
