It’s very easy to use and doesn’t require much onboarding to jump right in. While the web interface feels smooth overall, the platform can become noticeably laggy when I’m working on more complex designs, especially those with lots of layers or high‑resolution assets. Also, the vector export options can be a bit limiting at times for professional printing, particularly when compared with dedicated desktop publishing software. I use it in the office as a replacement, and keeping the proper proportions, for PowerPoint. Currently, I have to carry out presentations and training courses for new members of the area I manage, and I use it a lot for that. I also use it for personal projects and activities. The truth is, the only thing I didn't like was what happened last week, when they were victims of ransomware that took the service offline for several days. A company should have better tools and security protocols, but I don't have enough knowledge to know if it was a problem with Canva itself, or someone inside the company, so I don't change my recommendation. The freemium version is limited! Of course it is. And for anyone who's ever spent any substantial amount of time in Photoshop, you'll end up hitting your head against the wall.

There are lots of things that the free version of canva cannot do.

However, upgrade to the paid version and suddenly you've got a lot more horsepower.

It still isn't Photoshop, but it's a heck of lot less expensive.

The only thing I dislike is when I search for templates for certain graphics, it's hard to narrow down to what I mean. For instance, when I am looking for a template or example for a "meet the therapist" graphic I'm making, I search many different keywords but don't get a lot of what I would like.
