as someone using canva for a long time now for college works , the biggest upside for me is its ease of use. you dont need to be professional to be using the platform like it really lowers the entry barrier. The pre made templates and stock images are such a life saver to be honest. i have used it multiple times for making ppt, be it making societies posters or hostel pamplets i have done those many times using canva. Another plus point of this is its ease of implementation and integration like i can start a design on my laptop and the next moment i can start sharing with multiple people . customer support has been decent too although i didnt quiet reach out much as i dont face much issues. that being said canva is not perfect too. the thing that bothers me most sometimes is when you need advance customization for example having more smooth control over the layes in the work in that it doesnt quiet match up to the professional designing apps. another downside is that a lot of good stuff is locked behind the pro subscription feature which not all people can access. I am a college student and i majorly did my internships in social media. As a social media intern i was expected to ideate and make graphics for posts. Now graphics is a thing that i used to thought requires complex tools. Like i had only heard of photoshop for graphics and i knew how technical it was to learn that.
