  ### 1. Easy, Professional Designs Fast with Canva’s Templates and Drag-and-Drop Editor

**Describe the project or task Canva helped with:**

Canva offers a user-friendly platform that simplifies the design process for individuals and teams. With its drag-and-drop editor, users can easily create a wide range of visual content, from social media graphics to professional presentations. The platform provides access to a vast library of templates, fonts, and stock images, making it easy to customize designs to fit specific needs. Canva also supports real-time collaboration, allowing team members to work together seamlessly. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced designer, Canva's intuitive interface and powerful features make it a valuable tool for creating high-quality visuals quickly and efficiently.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

What I find most helpful about Canva is that it’s an easy-to-use design tool made for everyone, even if you have no background in graphic design. It provides thousands of ready-made templates for everything from presentations, social media posts, and posters to resumes and reports, so you don’t have to start from a blank page. Customizing designs is straightforward thanks to the drag-and-drop editor: you can swap photos, adjust text and fonts, change colors, and add shapes or animations in just a few clicks. On top of that, built-in features like the extensive stock media library, photo filters, background removal, smart resizing, and real-time team collaboration make it quick and hassle-free to create polished, professional-looking visuals. It works quite effectively with other tools, and collaboration is easy in canva.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Because it leans so heavily on popular templates, designs can end up looking generic, cookie-cutter, and unoriginal, especially when thousands of other people are using the exact same layouts. What initially feels “easy to edit” often turns clunky and frustrating once you try to customise anything, since text boxes, layers, and pre-grouped elements shift awkwardly and seem to resist fine-tuning. On top of that, despite advertising a massive pile of editing tools and assets, the workspace frequently feels cluttered, many of the most useful features are locked behind a paid subscription, and it still lacks the precision control, vector flexibility, and advanced export settings needed for truly professional graphic work.

**Recommendations to others considering Canva:**

To make the most out of Canva, consider exploring its extensive library of tutorials and guides to better understand its features and capabilities. Experiment with different templates and customize them to suit your unique style. If you find yourself using Canva frequently, investing in a paid subscription might unlock additional features that enhance your design experience. Collaborate with team members to leverage real-time editing and feedback, ensuring your projects are polished and professional.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva takes away the headache of having to learn complicated, expensive design software just to make everyday visuals look clean and professional. Rather than starting from a blank page or wrestling with technical tools, you get a straightforward drag-and-drop platform packed with ready-made layouts, fonts, stock graphics, and quick editing features (like background removers, resizing, and alignment helpers). For you, the biggest advantage is saving a huge amount of time and mental energy: you can quickly put together polished presentations, technical diagrams, posters, or reports on your own, without waiting on a graphic designer, while still keeping everything sharp and consistent.

  ### 2. Fast and very useful tool for creating a professional graphics design

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Honestly, what I like best about Canva is that Canva is very simple for me to use; the app is not complicated, and it's beginner-friendly. I remembered the first time I used Canva; it was not a hassle for me to navigate the interface, and again I was able to create a professional design for the graphics I wanted to create. And I was able to achieve that design because Canva has lots of templates to choose from, I chose my preferred templates and created the professional design. Canva helped me to be productive, and this is what I like best about Canva.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Honestly, what I dislike about Canva is that most of the best templates are for the paid plan. The best features are in the paid plan, so the first time I used Canva, I felt like I was limited from exploring more, and this made me spend more time than I expected to create the professional graphics I wanted.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem I know that Canva is solving is to make professional graphic designs very fast. Apart from the above, they also create problems by helping create presentation materials or any visual content very fast, and I benefit from these because whenever I use Canva for my work, it helps me save time to generate whatever I want to create and makes me even more productive without doing too much.

  ### 3. Create Professional Designs Fast with Canva’s Templates, AI Tools, and Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pawan B. | Student, E-Learning, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

What I like most about Canva is how quickly I can create professional-looking content without needing advanced design experience. I mainly use it for presentations, social media posts, posters, documents, and simple videos. The template library gives me a good starting point, while the drag-and-drop editor makes it easy to customize everything as I work. I also find features like photo editing, background remover, Magic Resize, Brand Kit, AI tools, animations, and video editing very useful. The collaboration features make it easy to share designs and work with others, especially when creating presentations or social media content. I like that I can make changes quickly without having to switch between different tools.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

The biggest frustration for me is that Canva has so many templates, graphics, and design elements that finding the right option can sometimes take longer than expected. Some advanced editing features also feel limited compared with more specialized design software. I have also noticed that larger or more detailed projects can occasionally feel a little slower, especially when there are many elements on a page.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva solves the problem of needing complicated design software or professional design skills to create polished content. I can handle templates, presentations, graphics, photo editing, video editing, background removal, resizing, branding, AI-assisted creation, animations, and collaboration all in one place. It saves me a lot of time because I can start with a simple idea and gradually build it into a finished design. For everyday creative work, Canva makes the process straightforward and helps me create content that looks professional without spending too much time learning complex design tools.

  ### 4. The Modern-Day AI Canva

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I find the addition of AI has made it easier to work with in the sense that you can now generate your ideas a lot quicker, whereas in the past, you would have to get quite creative with the available templates to bring your idea to life.
The UI / UX experience is always positive when I am using Canva; I can navigate quite easily to find what I am looking for.
The availability of the App Marketplace has been a huge help as it allows me to then find inspiration from which I can then bounce my ideas off of, rather than having to start from a plain canvas.
At the moment, I have only worked with the available free templates, but as I continue working with it, I am starting to see more and more of a need to pay for it, which I wouldn't say is too expensive; therefore, when the time comes, I will be happy to pay for it.
I never have moments where it lags or I have issues downloading my work after I am done; everything works perfectly well, and when I do have issues, I can easily get help. That's why I keep coming back.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Sometimes the templates that have exactly what I am looking for have to be paid for, and so it can be quite frustrating when I don't have money at that moment, and I have to find an alternative to fit what I want to work on, especially when I am on a time crunch.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva is saving me a lot of time because I can come in and find something I can use for a project, or I can use the AI assistant to share my idea and have it generate something for me.
This, in turn, saves me hours of brainstorming because I don't have to make everything from scratch. I can build off of what is available. Before Canva, I had to search for everything by myself and then put it all together, which took time. But now, life has become easier.
Sometimes I would struggle with what colour combinations would go together or what images I needed to use, but all those issues have now cut down as I don't spend so much time finding individual items and then putting them all together.

  ### 5. A Versatile Design Tool for Technical and Creative Work

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pratham Y. | Research And Development Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2026

**Describe the project or task Canva helped with:**

Canva is a versatile design tool that caters to both technical and creative needs. It simplifies the design process by offering a user-friendly interface and a wide range of templates and design elements. Users can create professional presentations, edit SVG files, and produce technical drawings without needing extensive graphic design skills.

The platform supports various file types and integrates well with other tools, making it easy to transition designs across different formats and devices. Canva's performance is generally smooth, although larger files may require more processing time.

From a cost perspective, Canva provides a comprehensive suite of design, editing, and presentation tools in one application, offering good value for users who need to manage both professional and personal design tasks.

The onboarding process is straightforward, with ample resources available to help users learn new features. Additionally, AI tools enhance productivity by automating repetitive tasks and assisting with creative and formatting aspects of the workflow.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

What I like best about Canva is how simple and intuitive the UI/UX is. I can quickly create presentations, edit SVG files, and build electrical drawings without spending too much time figuring out the tools. The templates and design elements are also useful when I need to present technical information in a clean and professional way.

Canva works well across different formats and devices, and its compatibility with common file types makes it convenient to move designs between tools. I also find the integrations with platforms such as Google Drive and social media useful, especially when moving between my professional and personal work.

Performance is generally smooth for everyday designing and editing. Even when working with detailed diagrams, presentations, or multiple design elements, the workflow remains responsive and easy to manage.

The pricing offers good value for me because I can use one platform for professional presentations, technical visuals, SVG editing, and personal social media content instead of relying on several separate design applications.

The onboarding is straightforward, and Canva's tutorials, templates, and help resources make it easy to learn new features without much assistance. The overall learning curve is quite low, even for someone who is not a dedicated graphic designer.

The AI features are another useful addition. Tools for generating design ideas, editing images, creating content, and speeding up repetitive tasks help me get from an initial idea to a finished presentation or visual much faster. For technical work, I still prefer to control the actual drawing and layout myself, but AI is helpful for supporting the creative and formatting side of the workflow.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

One limitation I notice with Canva’s UI/UX is that it is designed more for general design than detailed technical work. When creating electrical drawings or editing complex SVGs, getting precise positioning, alignment, and fine control can sometimes feel restrictive compared with dedicated engineering or vector-design software.

Compatibility is generally good, but some SVG elements, fonts, or complex designs may not behave exactly as expected when imported or exported. This can be inconvenient when I need to move technical drawings between Canva and other professional tools.

Performance is usually reliable, but larger presentations or designs with many elements can occasionally become slower, particularly when working with detailed diagrams or multiple SVG components.

From a pricing and ROI perspective, Canva provides a lot of features, but some advanced tools and AI capabilities are locked behind paid plans. For someone who mainly needs presentations, technical visuals, and occasional social media editing, the cost can feel less justified if many premium features are not used regularly.

The onboarding experience is easy overall, although finding the right option among Canva’s large number of features can sometimes take time. I would also like more advanced support and guidance specifically for technical or engineering-oriented use cases.

The AI features are useful for creative work, but they are not always suitable for technical applications. AI-generated layouts and visuals can require manual corrections, and I would prefer more precise AI tools for working with engineering diagrams, SVG components, and technical presentations.

**Recommendations to others considering Canva:**

To enhance Canva's utility for technical users, consider the following recommendations:

1. **Advanced Technical Features**: Introduce more precise tools for technical drawings, such as enhanced grid systems, snap-to-point features, and advanced alignment options.

2. **Improved SVG Handling**: Ensure better compatibility and behavior of complex SVG elements during import/export processes.

3. **Performance Optimization**: Focus on optimizing performance for larger files and complex designs to maintain smooth operation.

4. **Flexible Pricing Plans**: Offer more flexible pricing options that cater to users who primarily need technical and presentation tools without the full suite of premium features.

5. **Targeted Tutorials and Support**: Develop tutorials and support resources specifically aimed at technical and engineering use cases to help users maximize Canva's potential in these areas.

6. **Enhanced AI Tools**: Create AI tools that are more tailored to technical applications, providing precise assistance in engineering diagrams and technical presentations.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva eliminates the necessity to use several applications for presentations, technical graphics, SVG editing, and regular design works. The user-friendly interface allows me to create professional presentations and electrical drawings without mastering graphic-designing abilities.

Also, it makes working with various types of files and designing in various tools and platforms simpler. The system provides good performance regarding creating presentations, diagrams, and social media designs; however, sometimes, large files take a longer time to process.

In terms of cost-effectiveness and ROI, Canva offers me a vast set of design, editing, and presentation tools in one application. It helps since I can perform all professional and personal design tasks using just one tool without buying several applications for that purpose.

The onboarding process is simple and clear, and there are enough templates, tutorials, and help materials in order to master Canva tools. Also, AI tools allow me to reduce time for doing some design tasks automatically (layout creation, content generation, image editing, etc.) and focus only on the technical part of the work.

  ### 6. Canva: Empowering Everyday Creativity for Individuals and Businesses.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** LOKENDRA T. | Owner/ Founder, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva stands out for its ease of use and quick implementation—you can start designing within minutes without needing professional skills. The number of features is impressive, from templates and stock elements to AI-powered tools, making it versatile for everything from social posts to presentations. I also appreciate the ease of integration with other platforms, like Google Drive and social media, which streamlines publishing. Customer support is generally responsive, and the platform’s frequency of use is high because it’s reliable for everyday design needs.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

While it’s fantastic for quick designs, it doesn’t offer the same depth or flexibility as professional tools when working on very detailed or complex projects. Integration is smooth but not always perfect with certain third-party apps, and support, while helpful, can sometimes take longer for complex issues.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the benefit is clear: it saves time, reduces costs, and empowers creativity. As an individual, I can quickly design social posts or presentations without technical skills, and from a business perspective, it helps produce consistent branding and professional-looking content without needing a full design team.

  ### 7. Canva Saves Time and Budget with Easy Background Removal and Custom Sizes

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva helps to reduce my budget, it acts as my employee which is there for me to help with my basic graphic needs. I use it daily for background removal, and it works very well for that. Most of the time, I have JPEG or JPG images that I need to convert to PNG, and the huge task is to remove the background. Canva saves my time. Whatever dimension I need for a picture for my website, Canva has CUSTOM SIZE, which makes any size, and I can do the required task. The huge template library is a blessing for everyone. Just search for the type of poster you need, select one, and start editing. Almost every size is available. The huge number of elements reduces my Google surfing time; otherwise, I would have to search for the required pictures or logos on Google. In Canva, it makes the task easy by keeping it under elements. Before writing this review, I made a Raksha Bandhan Flyer for one of my sites; it's smooth, neat, and clean. Huge storage keeps my projects safe, and inside projects, I can create subfolders and keep related posters inside them, which helps a lot to save time. Even the upload folder has no storage limit; upload n-number of raw data required. The huge collection of Video Templates also helps. When I use Canva, I feel like I'm a graphic designer too since it's easy to use and there is full freedom. I have a pro plan.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

App mode in Windows lags very much; it's not a proper app. It simply loads a web view and calls it an app, available on the Microsoft Store. It lags a lot when I use video editing; it's very slow if the video is long. Web View can be slow, but if a user is using a good configuration PC, at least the app should work smoothly. It lags a lot. My laptop has an i7 8th Gen and SSD with 16GB RAM, but it lags a lot. Even it does not have all fonts. Fonts like Stencil and many more are missing. At least it should give the option to import .ttf files for fonts not available; it's missing this feature. There are many other issues. One of the big issues I faced is that it does not support larger dimensions; it limits to small printables. If I want to make a 1-1 feet poster, it says size not supported. At least some larger sizes should be available. Even the Convert to vector options don't work very well; it doesn't work properly.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving a task that takes hours, Canva makes it in minutes. Usually, if anyone wants to design something, there should be a basic design in his/her mind, but the huge library gives a lot of options. The best benefit is it saves money; rather than hiring one person for making basic posters, Canva gives me readymade posters, very easy to use, no past experience required. Dreamlab helps me to describe what type of picture I want to generate. AI features also work very well in Canva. Good support and easy to integrate with some websites like Pinterest. It also helps to maintain uniformity; for example, we can create a header and footer for a brand, we can design any type of poster and use readymade header and footer, it saves my time.

  ### 8. Canva Makes Professional Marketing Materials Easy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Darla S. | Business Development Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through Google One Tap using a business email account

**Source: Organic Review from User Profile:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva has become one of my go-to tools for creating professional-looking marketing materials without needing to be a graphic designer. I use it for everything from presentations and product graphics to social media content, catalogs, and promotional materials. I think Canva provides a lot of value for the price, especially considering how many design tools, templates, images, and AI features are included. However, I sometimes question the value because I still have to spend a significant amount of time manually fixing and refining designs after using the AI tools.

For simple marketing materials, Canva feels like a good value. For more complex, professional business presentations and customized designs, I would like to see the AI and editing tools become more precise so that I can accomplish more without spending additional time correcting the results.

Overall, I think the value is good, but I would feel that I was getting significantly more value if Canva could make the final design process faster and more intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

The templates are helpful, but I often find myself spending a lot of time adjusting layouts, spacing, images, fonts, and other elements to get the design exactly the way I want it. At times, it feels like I'm working around the template rather than having complete control over the design.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva is using AI to help users find and generate designs instead of manually searching through enormous template and element libraries.

  ### 9. Clean, Intuitive UI with Great Value and Helpful AI Tools

**What do you like best about Canva?**

What I like best about Canva is how easy and natural the whole experience feels. The UI/UX is clean, simple, and doesn’t take much time to figure out, even when I’m creating something for the first time. I also like the integrations because they make it easy to bring content from other tools into one place. Performance is generally smooth, even with larger designs. From a pricing and ROI point of view, Canva offers a lot of value for the features included. The support and onboarding are straightforward, and the AI tools are especially useful for speeding up ideas, editing, and everyday design work.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

It Causes a very high speed of internet and most of time it takes very much time to load

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping me out in creating best presentations as well as in photo editing also there are bulk of aesthetic elements which i found great

  ### 10. Canva Makes Professional Designs Fast and Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** August 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Canva?**

What I like best about Canva is how easy it is to create professional looking designs without a steep learning curve. The interface is clean, templates are easy to customize, and there are plenty of built-in assets to work with. It is also quick to move from an idea to a finished design, which is useful when working on different types of content.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Sometimes the editor can feel a little limited when working on more complex or highly customized designs. A few advanced features also take some time to find, but for everyday design work the overall experience is smooth.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva helps us create social media graphics, presentations, and other marketing materials quickly without needing to start every design from scratch. The templates and built-in tools save time, while the collaboration and sharing features make it easier to work with others. It has helped speed up the design process and reduced the effort needed for everyday creative work.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

It the easiest design softwarre that allows me to ship presentations and graphics extremely fast and has commulately saved me hours

Especially for team based projects everyone can do their work through a single link that is accessible anywhere, no downloading needed

The elements feature is the best i've come across, it makes the experience faster with access to a lot of graphics, pictures and frames which allows one to easily slot in images.

The free model is a bang for the buck, you can make a pitch deck or graphic easily without paying a cent. The paid model which is a great convenience is also priced pretty fairly>

Apart from easy access to opening canva, the way one can download it any format they'd want is another great feature, sometimes you want a pdf sometimes a PPT.

The Ai erase feature is also an amazing addition and it suprisingly does a real clean job, it's been a daily used feature for me

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

When working on a presentation with a lot of elements, it becomes really difficult and time consuming to grab a specific element. You need to open layers to then be able to grab it.

The mobile app isn't as good as i'd want it to be, it is really slow and no matter how good the phone is it lags a lot. At times it takes several minutes to just load up a presentation.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest pain that canva solves is time, i do not have a lot of time to use complicated softwares where i need to learn how to use them first. Canva is very intuitive and a basic presentation or poster is very easy to make.

University deadlines have me making presentations 10 minutes before the deadline and canva never dissapoints.

The second pain is finding appropriate stock images from the web and checking the size and quality, canva makes that extremely easy with the elements feature

**What do you like best about Canva?**

What I like most about Canva is how easy it makes designing, even if you don’t have any design background. The drag-and-drop interface is very smooth, and you can create social media posts, presentations, or thumbnails in minutes using ready-made templates.
It saves me a lot of time because I don’t need to start from scratch or use heavy design software. The performance is also reliable, and everything loads quickly without lag. I also like the built-in AI tools like background remover and text-to-image, which make editing even faster.
In terms of value, even the free version is quite powerful, and the paid plan feels worth it if you use it regularly. Getting started is simple, so onboarding is not an issue at all.
Overall, it’s a very practical tool that fits easily into my workflow and helps me create good-quality designs without much effort.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

One thing I don’t like about Canva is that some features feel limited unless you upgrade to the paid version. A lot of good templates, elements, and even some fonts are locked behind the Pro plan, which can be a bit frustrating if you’re using it regularly.
The UI is generally simple, but sometimes it can feel a bit crowded when you’re working on bigger projects with lots of elements. Also, performance can slow down slightly when designs get heavy or when you have multiple pages open.
Another thing is that while the AI tools are helpful, they are not always very precise, so you still need to manually adjust things. Integrations are there, but they’re not always smooth enough to fully replace other design tools in a workflow.
Overall, it’s a great tool, but it could improve by making more features available in the free plan and optimizing performance for larger designs.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Canva, creating designs used to take a lot of time and required more complex tools. Things like social media posts, presentations, or thumbnails needed either design skills or switching between multiple apps.
With Canva, this has become much easier and faster. Now I can quickly create good-looking designs using templates and drag-and-drop, which saves a lot of time in my daily work. Tasks that used to take an hour can now be done in 10–15 minutes.
It also helps reduce the need for expensive design software, so there’s some cost benefit as well. The built-in AI tools and ready-made elements make the process smoother, and I don’t have to depend on designers for small tasks.
Overall, it improves productivity, saves time, and makes design accessible even for non-designers.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

The ease of use and the ability to seamlessly create, collaborate and share content across teams and partners.
There is also an incredible range of templates, apps, integrations, ability to customise brand kits, inclusion of AI... so many features that make it such a valuable tool that enable teams to work more efficiently and collaboratively whist saving on design costs.

I have also had a very positive experience with customer stupport, with ease of implementation from account set up to training and ongoing checkin sessions and updates to ensure seamless ease of integration for our business.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

The folder structure can make it a little confusing at time to view designs. We have had some hiccups with customer success and have lacked a dedicated resource. I also find that there are constantly updates, and without regular communication hard to know what's new and how to apply and make the most of these.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time to market for content creation and design
Ability to seamlessly share and collaborate, in particular Canva whiteboard and presentations. Love the new itegration with Claude.
Removes cost and reliance on design, and empowers teams through brand templates.

  ### 14. The ultimate shortcut for daily content creation, but lacks advanced vector control

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco Javier S. | Product Manager, Chemicals, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

The speed at which you can turn an idea into a polished, professional asset is unmatched. The massive library of high-quality templates, stock photos, and brand kits means I don't have to start from scratch every time I need a social media graphic or a quick presentation deck. The real-time team collaboration is incredibly smooth, and features like the one-click background remover save me hours of tedious editing work every single week.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

It can feel very restrictive if you want to create something truly unique or custom from scratch. The lack of precision vector editing tools makes it frustrating when you need to tweak specific anchor points or design custom shapes. Also, the search functionality within the elements tab can be overwhelming, often burying clean, professional graphics under thousands of tacky, cartoonish animations.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It completely democratizes design across our company and breaks the bottleneck with our core marketing team. Instead of waiting days for a professional designer to create a simple banner or an internal flyer, anyone on our team can jump into Canva and build it themselves within minutes using our pre-loaded brand fonts and colors. It saves us massive amounts of time and keeps our visual identity consistent.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I’ve been using Canva for 2 years it’s one of the best tools for editing images, creating presentations, and designing website banners. I’ve used Canva throughout my career for my web development projects and for making UI/UX changes for my clients. The best part is its powerful editing tools, pre-made templates, and AI features that make designing effortless. The best thing is even a non it guy can use this

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

I need the Pro subscription because the free templates and tools aren’t very good. I have to get the subscription to access all the tools, like the background remover, which should ideally be free.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creativity isn’t something every programmer has even the best coders may not be good at design. That’s where Canva comes in with its amazing pre-made solutions. We can easily edit them and customize everything to our needs for the best look. From logo design to website components and images, it helps a lot I’d say it’s like a 50% partner in my work. It truly deserves the best review, as even someone with no IT background can create stunning logos for their business using it.

  ### 16. Fast, Simple Design Tool with Great Templates, Fonts, and Fair Pricing

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I love that, when I want to create a social media design or even a simple website, I can use several great features and draw from lots of design examples. I also like mixing different designs and using the nice fonts the platform has. I’m not a designer, but even so I can do a lot with it for my Instagram, for party invitations, and I even made my own wedding party website as well. I like to use AI to create some things, because it's better to have something that is only for me. And the price to have the best features is very fair for me. The platform is fast and I like to use because it's simples, memorable, and I can do whatever I want to do.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Sometimes the AI doesn't understand what I want to do. Specially to create images. And it's not clear for me what integrations I can do in this platform, like APIs, other platforms. Usually I go for designs only.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can do good and helpful designs for social media, for websites, my brand stuff. I created a logo for myself.

  ### 17. Design made simple, even for non-designers

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva is incredibly easy to use, even without any real design background. It's great for both personal and professional use, and the range of features makes it feel like you're working with a much more advanced design tool than you actually are, it genuinely makes you feel like a pro. It's also helped divide work better, since tasks that would otherwise need a dedicated designer can now be handled quickly and confidently on my own.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

A few small things that could be better: you can't export designs as fully layered, editable files (like PSD or AI), which makes it tricky if a project ever needs to move to a professional designer. Since Canva is so widely used, some of the free templates are quite recognizable, so it can take extra effort to make something feel truly unique. The mobile app can also feel a bit cramped for more detailed editing compared to desktop. None of these are dealbreakers, just minor limitations compared to more advanced design software.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my role in customer success and support, Canva makes it easy to quickly put together visuals, whether it's for internal documentation, help center content, or client-facing materials, without needing design help or waiting on a separate team. It's also been useful in the past for marketing work, where I used it to create graphics and content for campaigns and social posts without needing advanced design skills. Overall, it saves time, keeps things looking professional, and lets me handle visual tasks independently across different parts of my work.

  ### 18. A Powerful and Easy-to-Use Design Tool for Content Creators

**What do you like best about Canva?**

What I like best about Canva is how easy it is to create professional-looking designs without needing advanced graphic design skills. I use it regularly to design YouTube thumbnails, Pinterest Pins, presentations, and social media graphics. The drag-and-drop interface is intuitive, and the large collection of templates, icons, fonts, and stock assets helps me create high-quality visuals quickly. I also appreciate the AI-powered features like Magic Design, Background Remover, and Magic Resize, which save time and improve my workflow. Since Canva integrates well with other tools and supports team collaboration, it has become an essential part of my content creation process.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

While Canva is excellent overall, some advanced features are only available with the Pro subscription, which can be limiting for users on the free plan. I also notice that large or media-heavy designs can occasionally load slowly, especially with many elements. Although the template library is extensive, some popular designs are widely used, so creating truly unique content sometimes requires additional customization.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva helps me create high-quality visual content quickly without requiring professional design skills. I use it to design YouTube thumbnails, Pinterest Pins, presentation slides, certificates, and social media graphics. It has significantly reduced the time I spend on designing while allowing me to maintain a consistent visual style across my content. The ready-made templates, AI-powered features, and collaboration tools help me focus more on creating valuable content rather than spending hours on design, improving both my productivity and content quality.

The best thing I liked about working in Canva is that it’s an easy-to-use tool, and the tools feel more precise compared to other similar applications. Anyone with a good amount of knowledge in editing and designing can use these tools without any problem.

And the various high quality template provided for free are very good for me as it help as base for my new designs.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

The thing I don’t like about Canva is that it feels very complex to design highly animated videos and shorts, since you need to include many animations and cutouts.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva has easy-to-use tools and provides high-quality designs and templates.

Through Canva, I’m able to create high-quality work-related posts, videos, and many other things without needing any third-party editing or designing tools. It’s convenient to have everything available in one place, all within a single application: Canva.

I use Canva almost every day as a YouTube content creator. It helps me create professional thumbnails quickly using templates, text effects, icons, and image editing tools. I also like that I can start from a blank canvas or customize existing templates to match my channel's style. The interface is easy to learn, so I can focus more on creating content instead of spending hours on design.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Some advanced features, such as Background Remover, Magic Resize, and certain premium templates, require Canva Pro. I also wish there were more advanced photo editing options for fine tuning images without switching to another editor.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva has made my thumbnail creation workflow much faster and more consistent. I use it to design YouTube thumbnails, channel banners, and social media graphics for my content. It saves me a lot of time, helps my designs look more professional, and lets me publish videos more efficiently.

I use it for presentations, social media graphics, and professional documents, and it saves me a significant amount of time while producing high-quality results.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Canva is very easy to use, but as more features have been added, the interface can sometimes feel crowded. Finding advanced tools isn't always intuitive, and I would appreciate more flexibility when customizing templates. Some premium assets are also locked behind the Pro subscription, which may limit users of the free version.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva has solved the challenge of creating professional visual content without requiring graphic design expertise. Instead of spending hours designing materials from scratch, I can use customizable templates to create presentations, social media graphics, website visuals, and professional documents in a fraction of the time. This has improved my productivity, helped me maintain a consistent visual style, and allowed me to focus more on the content rather than the design process.

Canva has been an excellent design tool for creating high-quality visuals. The wide variety of professionally designed templates makes it easy to create attractive graphics, even without advanced design skills. I especially enjoyed using Canva for picture creation, as the interface is intuitive, fast, and user-friendly. It saves time while delivering polished results. Overall, my experience has been very positive, and I would highly recommend Canva to anyone looking for an efficient and reliable design platform.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Overall, I had a very positive experience with Canva, and I didn't face any major issues. The only minor drawback is that it can sometimes take a little time to find specific icons, symbols, or design elements because of the large library available. However, once you locate the right assets, the design process is smooth and efficient. This is a small inconvenience and doesn't affect the overall user experience.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva helped me create professional-looking graphics quickly without needing advanced design skills. It saved me time by providing ready-made templates, making it easier to create social media posts, marketing materials, and visual content efficiently.

  ### 24. Canva’s Magic Studio Makes Design Fast, Easy, and Collaborative

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I use Canva for PPTs and template making because it has a very friendly, easy-to-use UI, along with AI features like the “Magic Studio” suite of tools (Magic Design, Magic Media, and Magic Write). You can build, write, and edit designs instantly using text prompts directly in your workspace. It’s also fast, affordable, and integrates well, and the AI tools save me time while keeping performance smooth. Overall, it’s great value, with useful AI and excellent collaboration features you can share online through the Canva site, which is great support for teamwork.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Canva has a major setback: most of its top-notch templates, graphics, and tools are only available if you have a paid Pro account. Even though the free version is already pretty good, if you’re taking on a more in-depth project, you’ll likely find it too restrictive. Plus, the program can really slow down when you’re building a large or complicated design, and this is especially noticeable if you’re working in a web browser.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making good-looking stuff isn’t that hard when you have Canva, even if you’re not very good at design and don’t want to pay for special computer programs. I can already create good-looking presentations, posters, resumes, and social media pictures for school. It takes me a lot less time, helps me do my work better, and it’s also much simpler to collaborate with my friends.

I’m not a designer, but with Canva I feel like I can design almost anything. It helps me tap into my creativity and bring out ideas I didn’t even know I had. My favorite feature is resize, because It save me a lot of time

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Usually, when they roll out updates, it takes a little time before everything works properly. This happened when they introduced the new video editing feature: it was very slow, and the page kept crashing all the time.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small company with a limited budget, so we can’t invest in a marketing agency at the moment. I also don’t think we need one right now, because we can create the same kind of professional designs in Canva.

  ### 26. Fast, reliable design tool that removes the need for a dedicated designer

**What do you like best about Canva?**

There's barely any gap between an idea and a finished graphic — the drag-and-drop editor and huge template library let me put together a banner, presentation, or social post in minutes, no design skills needed. It stays responsive even with large files or multiple people editing at once, integrates smoothly with things like Google Drive, and the brand kit keeps colors, fonts, and logos consistent across everything. The free tier alone covers a lot, and when I did need help, the tutorials answered it fast without a support ticket.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Some of the more advanced design controls (precise layer management, fine-grained typography) still feel limited compared to dedicated design software, so complex custom work occasionally hits a ceiling. A few premium templates and elements are locked behind the paid tier, which isn't a dealbreaker but comes up often enough to notice.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It removes the need for dedicated design skills or software to produce professional-looking visuals quickly — banners, presentations, social posts — which has cut down turnaround time significantly and reduced reliance on a designer for everyday content needs.

  ### 27. Fearless Design in Minutes with Smooth Drag-and-Drop and Ready-Made Templates

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**G2 Icon:** Our network of Icons are G2 members who are recognized for their outstanding contributions and commitment to helping others through their expertise.

**Reviewed Date:** July 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Canva?**

The platform completely breaks down the fear of designing; thanks to its ultra-smooth drag-and-drop interface and thousands of meticulously pre-designed templates, any user—whether a university professor wanting to transform traditional lectures into visually interactive pathways, an innovator building the visual identity for a startup initiative, or a digital content creator—can produce stunning designs, covers, and presentations in just a few minutes with minimal effort.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

While its simplicity is its biggest advantage, professional designers and advanced users often hit a wall due to the lack of granular design control, such as precise path editing (vector manipulation) or advanced layer styling. Additionally, because the templates are heavily used worldwide, it can sometimes be challenging to create a truly unique visual identity, as many designs end up looking similar across the web.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva solves the design skill gap and time consumption dilemma; it enables non-professionals—like academics and content creators—to quickly transform their traditional ideas into visual pathways and professional presentations with minimal effort, without the need to learn complex software. Its immediate benefit to me lies in accelerating the pace of digital production and providing a flexible work environment that supports teamwork, which reduces working hours spent on building visual identities and educational media, allowing full focus on the quality of the content.

  ### 28. Canva: Bulk create, the merge correspondence of the '20s

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

The bulk create feature in Canva is a game-changer. With it, almost any design Canva offers—from a diploma to a badge—can be personalized in just a few clicks. You can upload a CSV, XLSX, or TSV file with your data, then insert the fields you want to personalize. The export options even let you name the outputs using the columns from your file, which is a huge help when you’re managing hundreds of records.

Canva’s video editing is also getting better and better. Subtitles are generated very accurately, and the design side of the editor is very easy to use. I also think the price is very low for all the tools you get in return, and the UI is great to use on PC, iPad, and Android.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

So far, I haven't found anything to dislike. The price for Canva Teams is perfectly reasonable for all the work that can be done so easily in Canva, and new tools are frequently added as an extra benefit.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Bulk Create app allows me to go the extra mile by personalizing cards, badges, and other documents that are commonly handed out to event participants, but often get delivered without anyone taking the time to make sure each person’s name is on them. With this app, it’s easy to do, and it creates a noticeably different experience for participants.

The video editing tool also helps me stay more consistent with the short content I upload to social networks.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

The best thing about Canva is its extremely user-friendly interface. It offers a massive library of ready-to-use templates, high-quality graphics, and fonts, which allows me to create professional-looking social media graphics, presentations, and designs quickly without any advanced graphic design skills.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

While Canva is great for basic and quick designs, it lacks advanced vector editing tools found in software like Adobe Illustrator. Additionally, some of the best templates, stock elements, and background remover features are locked behind the Pro subscription, which can be limiting for free users.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva solves several core challenges in design, content creation, and team collaboration:

1. Problems Canva is Solving
High Barrier to Entry for Graphic Design:

Problem: Professional design software (like Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator) has steep learning curves and requires technical expertise.

  ### 30. Easy, Professional Designs with Great Templates and Collaboration

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva makes it very easy to create professional-looking designs without needing advanced design skills. I especially like the large template library, the intuitive drag-and-drop editor, and how quickly I can adapt designs for different formats. The collaboration features and the ability to keep brand assets organized also save a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Canva often feels quite rigid because you are mostly limited to filling and adapting existing templates. The interface is essentially a simplified version of PowerPoint, but with less flexibility. Newer AI tools such as Slaide.de can already generate complete, better-looking presentations automatically, much faster, and even export them directly to PowerPoint. Compared with these tools, Canva increasingly feels outdated and is at risk of falling behind.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva solves the problem of making design accessible to non-designers. It significantly reduces the time needed to create professional-looking presentations, documents, and social media content through templates and an intuitive editor. It has been valuable for quickly producing polished content. However, as AI-native tools have matured, I now prefer solutions that generate entire presentations from scratch instead of requiring me to adapt templates manually.

  ### 31. Accessible, Designer-Friendly Platform with Great Templates and Free Canva Education

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Its accessibility, attractive interface (which matters a lot as a designer) and even though it does not really have advanced design capabilities, it comes close to its competitors and really has no competition in terms of casual and daily driver of designers and social media managers. It is simply the easiest design platform to start out with and gives you a good starting point as a designer thanks to its extensive collection of templates for every single thing. It is smooth to use across PC, and phone and makes collaboration easier than ever between teams.

The best thing about it is probably its Canva Education plan that it offers for free to students and educators.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Sometimes it is buggy and goes down like 2-3 times a month which can sometimes mean loss of productivity for heavy users even if its for a few hours only. Also, the fact that a lot of its apps require you to sign in on their own platforms too through the browser just after using them once is also not a nice experience as you never know if the very crucial app you found is actually here to stay in your workflow.

Another thing is that sometimes the AI tools can be pretty inaccurate such as with image upscaling.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is simply the main platform to collaborate on any kind of design. And most of all the main problem is solves is that you don't need to share very poster or carousel draft with your team for suggestions by downloading and sending it to them over and over again, you can just add them to the project through their mail which allows them to give direct feedback through comments and even make small tweaks themselves or download the files directly or just stream them directly through the in built slideshow feature.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I feel like Canva is a game changer that can truly change someone’s life. With Canva, you don’t need to be a full-time designer to sell digital products. You can design almost anything without dealing with complicated tools like before—just drag and drop. There are millions of templates ready to use, which saves a lot of time, and it’s easy to modify them by adding or deleting elements you don’t need. Then, I love most about Canva is its exceptionally smooth UI/UX and beginner-friendly onboarding. As a digital product creator, the platform allows me to design professional worksheets, planners, and templates using their massive library of pre-made layouts. In terms of performance, the cloud synchronization is seamless, making my design process incredibly fast. The recent AI/Intelligence features, like Magic Design and AI prompts, have been a huge game-changer, saving me time by instantly generating design concepts from scratch. The pricing and ROI are fantastic because the free tier gives independent creators immense value to test their business without any upfront investment. My work also more save time and easy while I can integrations Canva with another like email marketing tools

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Canva is amazing, but I don’t like that the integration workflow with external cloud platforms can sometimes feel limited in more complex team settings. Also, when I’m working with heavier digital assets—especially multi-page designs or projects with extensive graphics—the mobile app occasionally lags compared to the desktop version, which is pretty disturbing for me. I’d really prefer it if Canva centralized the advanced formatting controls into a more unified settings menu, so the asset-creation workflow is even smoother for creators who design entirely on mobile devices.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my experience so far, Canva removes a major barrier for me: the high operational cost and steep learning curve of advanced, traditional design software. Before using it, launching digital templates required expensive professional tools and a lot of IT or graphic design training. Canva addresses this by offering an all-in-one, no-code visual workspace, with the flexibility to work both online and offline. The most direct benefit for me is a much faster product-launch workflow. It significantly cuts down my time and budget, letting me quickly turn my creative concepts into ready-to-sell digital assets without needing to hire a professional designer.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva has become my go-to design tool, and three things keep me coming back: how it performs day-to-day, how well its AI tools are integrated, and how intuitive the whole experience feels.
AI Magic Studio really stands out for me because it bundles everything in one workspace. Canva's interface is the reason non-designers like me can actually use a design tool without a learning curve.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

There is not much I do not like, I would say maybe that some templates can be very generic.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva's core value is closing the gap between "I need something that looks professional" and "I don't have design skills, software, or time to make it." Concretely, it solves a few specific problems:
No design skill required, no expensive software, 1 tool instead of 5, helps keep things "on brand"

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva makes designing easy and fun, even for someone without professional experience

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Canva is great overall, but some things could be better. A lot of good templates and elements are locked unless you pay, which limits creativity. Sometimes the app lags or feels slow, especially with bigger designs. Also, searching for the right font or graphic takes time and isn’t always accurate. It’s useful, but not perfect.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva helps me do a lot of creative work without needing any special design skills. I use it for making videos, editing photos, designing ads, creating presentations, and general content. It puts everything in one place and makes the process easy. I don’t have to switch between different apps or spend hours learning complicated tools. It saves time and helps me get clean, professional results with less effort.

  ### 35. Effortless Design for Busy Minds

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** July 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I mainly use Canva to make presentations, resumes, posters, and social media posts. I love that it saves me a lot of time because I can start with a template and change it however I want. The editor is simple to use, and I don't need any design skills to create something that looks good. The drag-and-drop editor makes designing simple, and there are plenty of templates to choose from for different types of projects. I appreciate that I can quickly resize designs, use icons and photos from the built-in library, and work on my designs from different devices without any hassle. The features I use the most are the ready-made templates, drag-and-drop editor, background remover, and the large collection of icons, photos, and fonts. I also like the Magic Resize feature because it saves time when I need the same design in different sizes. Auto-save is another feature I appreciate since I never have to worry about losing my work.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

One thing that could be improved is that many useful features are only available with the Pro plan, which can be expensive for students or occasional users. Sometimes the app also slows down when working on large or complex designs. I would also like to see more free templates and elements, along with better offline support for editing projects without an internet connection. The limited number of free templates and design elements means I sometimes spend extra time looking for alternatives or creating parts of a design from scratch. Occasionally I find a template I like, but key graphics or features are locked behind the Pro plan, so I have to change my design or look elsewhere. Another improvement I'd suggest is making the search feature more accurate so it's easier to find the right templates, icons, or photos without scrolling through so many results.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Canva to quickly create presentations and posters without needing design skills, using templates to save time. It keeps my designs organized and easy to edit. However, some useful features are locked behind an expensive Pro plan, and large designs can cause slowdowns.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I love that Canva's pre-generated templates make it super easy for me to create anything from a flyer to a video. It's rare to find a tool that's truly as easy to use as people say, but Canva really is. It has made a huge difference in how I handle my work. I used to spend hours fiddling with margins and fonts, resulting in something that looked messy, but now I just grab a template and it's done. It's honestly been a lifesaver for my sanity. Also, setting it up was very easy—I just log in and select what I want to create.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

I think it could have implemented AI in a better manner. But since I've been using it for a month only, I don't see major issues over there. So it's pretty good.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to spend hours fiddling with margins and fonts, ending up with a mess. Canva's pre-generated templates save so much time, allowing me to create professional presentations, flyers, and videos effortlessly.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva is a huge lifesaver if you want to create simple illustrations and information imagery without having advanced design skills. I primarily use it to view technical diagrams, create my own diagrams, develop simple machinery illustrations, and prepare clear information leaflets for operators. It helps me communicate processes and equipment information in a way that's easy for my team to understand.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

The only thing I would like to see improved is a larger collection of engineering and industrial graphics. For technical illustrations, I sometimes need to import custom elements instead of finding them directly in Canva.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva helps me turn technical information into clear visual that are easier for operators to understand and remember. I use it to create machinery illustrations, process diagrams, and simple information leaflets, which makes instructions easier to follow and reduces the time spent explaining the same procedures repeatedly. It also lets me update or create new materials quickly whenever processes change.

  ### 38. Canva: A Lifesaver for Non-Designers with Unmatched Templates and Collaboration

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Honestly, Canva is a total lifesaver for non-designers. The variety of templates, fonts, and elements is unmatched, and the real-time collaboration features make working with teammates seamless. It streamlines our whole creative process.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

While Canva is great for quick designs, the main downside is that many of the best templates, elements, and stock photos are locked behind the Pro paywall. It can also feel restrictive if you need precise photo editing or vector manipulation, as it lacks the advanced control found in dedicated software like Adobe Creative Cloud.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva helps solve the challenge of maintaining brand consistency across a team. By utilizing Brand Kits and locked templates, anyone on our team can jump in and build on-brand assets without accidentally using the wrong fonts, colors, or logos. It streamlines our creative workflow and cuts down on endless review loops.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

As a math teacher and community organizer for teachers, Canva is very helpful for us in creating infographic formulas, presentation materials, and engaging student worksheets. Its best feature is the ability to share template links; I just share one link and other teachers in the community can immediately copy and edit it according to their class needs. Its integration with Google Classroom is also excellent because I can directly share design materials to the class without the hassle of downloading and re-uploading. The app is very lightweight, accessible via phone or laptop, and syncs instantly.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Sometimes the folder and file management system feels a bit messy when we have stored hundreds of educational material designs in one teacher community account. As a result, searching for old templates that were previously created takes extra time if they are not named very specifically.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This application solves the problem of providing boring teaching media. In the past, creating visually appealing math infographics was very difficult and time-consuming. Now, with Canva, we as teachers can collaborate to create creative learning modules in a short time, making students more enthusiastic when learning.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I have Canva Pro and I find the background remover feature the best.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

I don't know what happened recently, but the video editor on Canva has become so painful to use. You have to move every single element of a video instead of all at once, and its become incredibly slow and frustrating. I also find moving elements quite difficult, and wish that the middle points of a design were easier to locate.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small marketing team, so don't have a design team. We wouldn't previously have had the capacity to design all of our marketing material, but now using the brand system and the uploads folders it can be a lot easier to create assets.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I love the ability to be creative with Canva and create things for my business that are originally mine. The ease of taking ideas from Copilot and creating products and tools for my clients is a big plus. I can't just choose one but if I had to, the Canva AI stands out. I enjoy how I can copy things from Copilot and drop them into Canva AI, which creates my ideas in an instant. Also, the initial setup was very easy, and I've been with Canva for over 2 years, paying monthly for the premium subscription, which suits my needs perfectly.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

It's improving with more use, but I would love for it to have more content creative things for psychotherapists without limiting our creativity as we know some things have to be censored and ethical. Because of the sensitivity of mental health topics, it would say it is unable to create cover or picture due to the sensitivity of some topics.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva makes it easy to turn ideas from Copilot into client products and tools instantly. It supports my creativity, enabling me to craft original business materials.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I use features like Magic Write, Magic Design, AI image generation, and the newer AI tools almost every day, and they've made putting together the first draft of a campaign much faster. They don't replace creative decisions, but they definitely take a lot of the repetitive work off my plate. What I really like is that I can work on presentations, documents, social media content, and even spreadsheets without jumping between different apps. It keeps everything in one place, and it's much easier to keep the same visual style across an entire campaign. These days, I don't really think of Canva as just a graphic design tool. It's become the place where our content, designs, presentations, documents, and AI tools all come together.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

The AI features still need a bit of supervision. More than once, Magic Write gives me a solid starting point, but I almost always tweak the wording to better match the brand's voice. For me, it's a great assistant, not something I rely on to do the final work.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I run into a situation recently where a client decides to completely change the visual direction of a campaign just a couple of days before launch. A while ago, that would've meant rebuilding assets, updating multiple files, and spending hours making sure everything stayed consistent. This time, I open the project in Canva, update the brand elements, adjust a few pieces of copy with Magic Studio, and everything stays aligned in a fraction of the time. What I expect to turn into a long afternoon ends up being a pretty straightforward update. Since then, last-minute changes don't worry me nearly as much because I know we can adapt quickly without starting from scratch.

  ### 43. Free, Intuitive, and Reliable—Canva Makes Design Quick and Easy

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Canva?**

It’s free, simple, and easy to use. Unlike the complexity of most Photoshop tools, I find Canva to be much simpler and more straightforward. I like its intuitive drag and drop interface which makes creating professional looking designs quick, even without graphic design experience. I also appreciate that I can create everything from social media posts and presentation to resumes in one place. Overall, Canva is reliable, user friendly platform that makes designing efficient. I would highly recommend it for both beginners and experienced designers.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

While Canva is an excellent design platform, there are a few things I don’t like. Some of the best templates, graphics, and features are locked behind a Pro subscription, which can feel limiting for free users. Large or complex designs can also occasionally run a bit slow. I also wish there were more advanced editing capabilities for professional design work, since certain tasks still require specialized software.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva solves the problem of making professional-quality design accessible to everyone, even for people without graphic design experience. It saves time thanks to ready-made templates, a drag-and-drop editor, and built-in collaboration tools, making it easier to create and share designs quickly.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I've been using Canva for a couple of years now, mostly for social content, presentations, and quick marketing assets, and it's genuinely become my default first stop before I even think about opening anything more "professional." The single most helpful thing about it is how it closes the gap between having an idea and having something on screen — the drag-and-drop editor is fast enough that I can go from blank canvas to a finished post in minutes, without fighting the tool to get there.
What keeps me coming back is the template library. It's not just volume — it's that the templates are actually well-designed and trend-aware, so even a rushed Instagram carousel or pitch deck looks intentional rather than thrown together. I also lean heavily on Brand Kit, which keeps my fonts, colors, and logos consistent across every asset without me having to think about it each time. That alone has saved me from a lot of inconsistent-looking content.
The Magic Resize feature deserves a specific shoutout — reformatting one design across Instagram, LinkedIn, and a printable flyer used to mean rebuilding from scratch; now it's a couple of clicks. Combined with the built-in stock photo/video library and the AI tools (background remover, Magic Eraser, text-to-image), I rarely need to leave the platform mid-project to find an asset elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

As much as I rely on Canva day-to-day, there are some real friction points worth flagging for anyone evaluating it seriously.
Paywall creep is the biggest one. A lot of the best elements — premium templates, certain fonts, stock photos, and the more advanced AI tools — sit behind Canva Pro, and even within Pro you'll occasionally hit "Pro+" gated content. It's not always obvious upfront which assets are free vs. paid until you've already built half your design around one.
Design depth has a ceiling. For anything beyond social posts, decks, and simple marketing assets, Canva starts to feel limiting. Precise alignment, complex vector editing, and fine-grained typography control are clunky compared to actual design software. If a project needs pixel-perfect precision, I still have to hand it off to Figma or Illustrator.
Performance lags on heavier projects. Multi-page documents, designs with lots of layers, or anything video-heavy can get noticeably sluggish — the editor occasionally stutters or takes a moment to catch up, which breaks flow when you're moving fast.
Brand Kit and team features are restrictive on lower tiers. Proper brand control, multiple brand kits, and admin/team management really only unlock at the Teams/Enterprise pricing — which is a steep jump if you're a solo user or small team just trying to stay consistent.
File export limitations. Exporting to certain formats (like editable PDFs or layered files for handoff to other design tools) isn't great. If you're collaborating with someone in Adobe's ecosystem, you'll likely lose some fidelity in the handoff.
AI tools are hit-or-miss. Magic Eraser and background removal work well most of the time, but text-to-image and some "Magic" AI features can produce inconsistent or generic results — usable for quick drafts, not something I'd ship without touch-ups.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most teams don't have a designer on hand for every social post, slide deck, or one-pager. Canva lets non-designers — marketers, founders, ops folks — produce professional-looking assets themselves, which cuts down on bottlenecks and back-and-forth requests to a design team.
What used to take a day or two with a designer (or hours fumbling in Photoshop) now takes minutes. This matters a lot for things like time-sensitive social posts, event flyers, or last-minute pitch decks where speed matters more than perfection.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

The biggest thing Canva changed for me was how I look at design tasks. I first started using it when I needed to put together a presentation on short notice, and instead of stressing over fonts, spacing, and layouts, I was able to focus on the actual content.

Something I didn't expect was how much I ended up using it for resumes. I used to hate updating my CV because it always felt like a frustrating formatting exercise. With Canva, it feels much more like putting together something you're actually proud to share. I can make it look clean and professional without spending hours adjusting every little detail, and that alone has been a huge plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

The only thing that occasionally slows me down is finding a template I really like, only to realize it's part of the Pro subscription. I completely understand why premium content exists, but sometimes you spend a few minutes customizing a design before noticing some elements are locked. Other than that, I honestly haven't run into any major issues.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, Canva solved two problems at once: time and confidence. I no longer waste hours trying to make documents or presentations look presentable, and I don't feel limited by my lack of design skills. It also made creating and updating my resume much less frustrating. Instead of fighting with formatting in a text editor, I can focus on what I want to say and present it in a way that looks polished. It saves me time, makes my work look more professional, and gives me confidence when sharing it with other people.

**What do you like best about Canva?**

What I like about Canva is how quickly I can create professional looking presentations without spending too much time on design. It's AI tools help me create ideas and content faster, while the support is easy to use when I need help. The pricing is fair for the features, and Canva performs well without much delay. it also works well with other tools, making it easy to share and use my work.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

I feel restricted while using some of the advanced design and customization option can feel little compared with professional design tools. Overall, these are minor issues, and Canva works really well for creating presentations quickly.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canva solves the problem of spending too much time creating and formatting presentations. I can use ready made templates and design elements to quickly turn technical information into clear, professional looking slides. This saves me time and helps me communicate ideas more effectively during meetings and presentations.

  ### 47. Canva Makes Quick, Beautiful Designs Easy—with Templates, AI Tools, and Social Posting

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva is a very easy to use drag and drop tool which allows anyone to create content. It can be used to great business cards, social media posts, posters and much more. I think the platform offers great inspiration with their templates and allows others to create their own unique design. You can either access their large content library or upload your own files including vectors. I think for anyone who doesn't have a designer they work closely with, Canva is a great tool for quick design projects, at a reasonable price. Even the free option offers quite a large selection of graphics and templates. The paid option offers more AI features like background removal and other editing tools which are convenient if you aren't comfortable with manual edits. Canva has integrations for direct posting to social media which is very convenient especially if you are a small brand trying to manage different business responsibilities all in house. I personally enjoy the print feature because I can design something in Canva and have it printed directly to a printing store near me at record speed.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

I think one downside I have experienced with Canva is getting accustomed to a certain type of font which can only be found in Canva. Even after trying to search around, I can't always find a substitute. I also think they don't always make it clear about commercial usage rights.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If I don't have time to design something myself in Illustrator or edit items in Photoshop, I can easily ask my staff to use Canva to create a quick poster and have confidence that the final product will be nice and to my requested measurements, so I can spend my time elsewhere. There is a small learning curve and I believe it is a tool which was quickly integrated into my team.

  ### 48. A Simple Design Tool I Use Regularly for College Projects

**What do you like best about Canva?**

I mostly use Canva for my college presentations and making posters for events. I like that i can start with a template and customize it instead of designing everything from scratch which is very time-consuming. The drag and drop feature are very easy to use and i can quickly add icons, images and text without needing any design experience.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

Some elements and templates require me to have Canva Pro, so sometimes i find something that i like but then i realize i can't use it on the free plan. Larger design can also feel a bit slow to edit when there are many images or animations on the page.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Canva, making posters or presentations was very time taking as i had to search for design resources manually and arrange everything on my own. Canva gives me ready to use templates and all assets in one place, so i can create whatever i wish much faster. It has been especially useful for college assignments and presentations where i need decent looking visuals without spending hours.

  ### 49. Quick, Easy Social Media Graphics with Flexible Pricing Tiers

**What do you like best about Canva?**

If you need quick graphics for social media or templates that are easy to use this is the easiest tool to use if you have no graphic design background. It has multiple pricing tiers to fit all budgets which makes it really appealing to teams of all sizes.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

If you've spent most of your career using Adobe products, you're going to have a hard time adjusting. You'd expect the tools to work the same as Photoshop or Illustrator but it just misses the mark.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

If you're hiring younger talent that hasn't had a lot of traditional graphic design training this tool is a good way to keep production up while they learn more in depth tools like the Adobe suite. I think it's easier to teach people Canva and then teach them Adobe because they'll get the basics of design down before learning how to build from scratch. this tool is about speed and learning.

  ### 50. Canva Makes Designing and Publishing Websites Effortless—No Coding Needed

**What do you like best about Canva?**

Canva is a super useful tool that helps you make quick and easy design assets, presentations, branding, websites and much more. It has such a wide variety of stock images and the pro subscription adds a lot more value to your suite.

I particularly like the ability to design a website and create one from scratch and publish without needing to use any coding, this makes it super easy and user friendly allowing anyone to create something and publish.

When creating branding and assets it is super easy to use on desktop and on phone, the UI is super intuitive and easy to navigate through templates or use their ai tools to automate aspects of your design process or the design itself.

Overall it is very easy to set up and use the platform, it is very intuitive so you can easily access and learn about different parts of the platform yourself and follow tutorials where necessary.

When using Canva it is very quick to respond, we have not had any issues with performance, maintenance or downtime and are happy with the overall usage.

We are exploring using different integrations such as those with 3rd party print on demand platforms to enable us to create products and sell them as print on demand.

**What do you dislike about Canva?**

The ai generated images can be not that great quality sometimes but i assume this will improve over time. I also think that some functionality could be improved, when downloading a project or page it is very easy to download everything in the folder or the file instead of the specific page.

**What problems is Canva solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining branding and asset creation for social platforms and marketing. We can easily create images using own own assets and the tools available on canva, using templates and stock icon, copy, ai etc to help refine our assets.
