  ### 1. Streamlined Merit Cycles and Equity Reviews—A Centralized Comp Tool That Delivers

**What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

- CandorIQ replaced our manual spreadsheet-based compensation processes with a centralized platform - no more managing merit cycles through Google Sheets.
- The built-in approval workflows streamlined our merit review process and reduced back-and-forth between managers, department heads, and Total Rewards.
- All compensation data lives in one place - managers can see internal equity, range penetration, and market positioning without requesting ad-hoc reports from HR.
- The Ashby two-way integration will be a huge time-saver for recruiting, connecting job and compensation band management directly to our ATS
- Internal equity checks can be built into the Ashby workflow - before any offer, managers see where a candidate would land relative to their current team, which prevents equity problems before they start.
- The range penetration view makes it easy to reframe compensation conversations positively (vs. compa-ratio, which creates pressure toward midpoint).
- It helped us to bring more structure and consistency to offer and promotion decisions - alongside other tools like our new leveling guide, managers now use a shared framework instead of gut feel.
- We successfully launched our FY26 merit cycle entirely through CandorIQ - our first cycle off of spreadsheets
- Incredibly easy to implement, and the customer success team is responsive, with fast turnarounds.
- It has become our daily go-to for reporting.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

- The reports pulled from the system are formatted unattractively, with some data being presented in a different form (example: amount vs percentage) than what's shown on the screen before downloading.  Additionally, some key columns are missing on downloads that are visible on the screen, such as Division, Employee ID, or company email, making it difficult to use them to pull data into other reports.
- As a newer platform, some of the analytics and reporting capabilities are still maturing and we sometimes run into small bugs, which are quickly fixed upon flagging.
- While the AI charts are incredible, they are brand new and so we occasionally supplement with exports and external tools for more complex analysis.
- Would love to see deeper HRIS integration - as we transition to HiBob, getting real-time two-way sync between our HRIS and CandorIQ will be critical for scaling
- Some of the UI workflows for admins could be more intuitive when handling edge cases (off-cycle adjustments, international employee exceptions, proration rules)

**What problems is CandorIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Eliminated fragmented compensation workflows - we were managing comp cycles, benchmarking, and band maintenance across Lattice's comp module, Mercer, Pave, salary.com, and Google Sheets; CandorIQ consolidates all of this into one system
2. Replaced Lattice's comp module - we were frustrated with limited features, weak analytics, and lack of integration with Ashby; CandorIQ delivered a purpose-built solution
3. Reduced manual, error-prone work - our ROI analysis showed merit cycle reviews could save weeks of HR leadership time per cycle; the tool automates comp cycle configuration, approvals, and reporting. We just wrapped our first merit cycle in the system, and leaders reported it was "leaps and bounds" beyond what we did before.
4. Enabled data-driven manager conversations - leaders and the People Team can now use CandorIQ data to position candidates based on qualifications and internal equity, not gut feel or negotiation; we even built a full training program and FAQ around the tool's data views
5. Improved internal equity and consistency - the platform surfaces equity issues in real-time (e.g., if a new hire would come in above existing team members), helping us make defensible, fair decisions

**What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

CandorIQ has been a great partner for our compensation work. The data is powered by Mercer, which gives me confidence that we are working with a strong dataset and lots of reliable data points. The platform itself is easy to use. Our recent compensation review went smoothly, especially with the ability to pre-load pre-approved raises and require comments for any additional adjustments. Customer service is truly top notch: the team listens, is responsive, and works with us to solve issues quickly. I also appreciate that because CandorIQ is still in a growth phase, my feedback is heard and often implemented, which makes me feel like I am helping shape a tool that really works for us.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

Right now, compensation bands cannot be automatically updated with new market data. While the team is very helpful in bulk updating bands on the back end, it would be great to see this automated in the future. Some aspects of the platform are still being built out, but that is expected for a startup product. It is also an opportunity, since it means they are improving quickly and adapting to user needs.

**What problems is CandorIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CandorIQ helps us benchmark compensation using reliable Mercer data and maintain clear, structured compensation bands across the company. It has streamlined our compensation review process by allowing us to pre-load approved raises and set rules for adjustments, which saves time and ensures consistency. Having all of this in one platform reduces manual work, improves accuracy, and gives us confidence that our pay decisions are competitive and fair. The strong customer support also means we get quick solutions and guidance, which helps us keep processes moving smoothly.

With CandorIQ, we can now generate accurate, branded digital offer letters in minutes, significantly improving both our speed to hire and the professionalism of our candidate communications. We also love the benefits feature, which makes it easy for candidates to clearly understand their total rewards package. **What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

CandorIQ's team were so helpful and hand ons in helping us onboard to get great benchmarketing data and get us through our comp cycle. 

In particular they were able to help get all our merit increase letters to employees through their portal (we had 16 different letter types) and they were able to help us automate the letter making and delivery of our letters so that employees could log on and get their letters. They were so quick in helping us deliver these as they got it done for us in one day. Employees were particularly happy to get the letters but also to to see their total compensation value in a dashboard including the cost of benefits and equity within their portal.   

CandorIQ has a really easy to use solution that has helped scale our compensation planning practices. In particular, they have a great benchmarketing tool that takes the best data for your industry to help build your team's levels. The team is particularly agile and was able to quickly delivery feature requests like addition search functionality or descriptions of roles. The service and speed is particularly impressive! They also have a lot of flexibility in their UI for many different cases and if they don't have something and you request it they tend to build it out quickly.

The team is so quick and agile it is amazing to see all the new features that have come out even in the last quarter! I am excited to see what they build next.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

They are great! I would highly recommend them!

It is helping me get visibility into data benchmarking across levels and geographies including with bonuses and equity. It is also helping me communicate total rewards and increases to employees.

The platform’s user experience could be more intuitive. Some actions take extra clicks or aren’t immediately clear, which makes navigation less smooth than expected. Once you get familiar with it, it works fine, but the initial usability could be improved.

They'll need to develop easier upload capabilities. We don't have HRIS APIs hooked up so need to do work arounds.

Taking me out of google spreadsheets for comp benchmarking, salary bands, comprehensive employee comp information and comp adjustment cycles and putting it into a central place with a user friendly interface. It also allow us to easily share comprehensive comp information with our managers.

CandorIQ is a powerful tool that combines simplicity with depth. Its design is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate while still covering all the essentials. The interface is intuitive and visually appealing, which enhances the user experience. Another standout feature is the support team, which provides exceptional “white glove” service, ensuring users feel supported every step of the way.  The tool is also easy to set-up, making integration a breeze.

CandorIQ is a new tool with a solid foundation, though some features are not yet available, such as detailed, downloadable reports. That said, the tool shows great potential, but there are areas where additional features would enhance its overall utility and effectiveness.

CandorIQ is solving the challenge of understanding and evaluating past compensation practices by providing me with in-depth visibility into previous pay decisions, such as how compensation aligned with the market. This insight is incredibly valuable as it helps me identify patterns and areas for improvement. By analyzing historical data, I can refine and create a more strategic approach to compensation moving forward, ensuring our practices are fair, competitive, and aligned with organizational goals

**What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

CandorIQ has a really good price point for smaller businsses. The partnership that CandorIQ has with Mercer means that the data can be trusted and I like how the platform can be customised to meet our business needs. We are still in the early days of rolling out the system, but so far it has been an overall positive experience as an administrator.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

CandorIQ is still very much a startup. The onboarding process still needs work and there isn't much extra support resources available for the end user. However, the team is always around to answer questions if you need it.

**What problems is CandorIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We signed up to CandorIQ for a more transparent and collaborative way to make compensation decisions. We also use it to design our overall job architecture which has helped us to visualise the skills and experience that we have in our organisation. We will use CandorIQ as part of a wider performance management system, bringing clarity and objective decision making into the business.

**What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

The headcount planning module is one of a kind. I have yet to see a tool tackle this in a way that actually allows teams to get out of spreadsheets and automate a process that connects to your HRIS and ATS and manages approvals, projects org views into the future, and allows finance teams to more accurately budget headcount. It's such a game-changer.

Haven't come across anything the team was not able to update or customize for us. It has always been white-glove customer support.

CandorIQ is a powerful platform across both workforce planning and compensation. It effectively enables collaboration across HR, Finance and executive leadership, reducing cross-functional friction.

I'm really impressed with what CandorIQ has accomplished in it's short history. They are addressing a huge pain point for businesses around compensation planning. The application, accommodates a variety of compensation designs for smaller startup companies, and it includes embedded market data that otherwise would be a separate expense.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

I'm looking forward to see what they do around customer driven configuration options and also workforce planning that can be shared between both HR and finance teams.

Smaller companies often don't have compensation expertise on their team so a tool like this allows HR leaders to access compensation information quickly and set up foundational job and salary structures.

**What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

CandorIQ gives us a way to have all our compensation and headcount information in one place. It's secure and makes otherwise chaotic processes much more systematic. Because it helps me stay organized and better collaborate, I'm able to focus more on the bigger issues and be more strategic. For example, I love that it helps me give my people managers more hands-on access to the information to be more effective with their direct reports' growth.

I also LOVE how hands-on their team is. They've made transitioning to the product incredibly easy and they're very pleasant to work with.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

The company hasn't been around as long as some of the players in the space and—while that has its perks—it also has its obvious disadvantages. The current product is great and their team is really helpful and responsive to feedback, so my only "dislike" is simply that there are still some features I know will come in the future that I wish they had today. I'm excited to be a design partner and have a lot of influence on the direction of the product.

**What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

When we surveyed the comp cycle platform landscape, Candor proved to be the most flexible for our complex comp needs, while also coming in at the most reasonable price. That got us in the door, but what has kept us since is the responsiveness of the Candor team. They're open to feedback and are willing to make/update features to ensure the product works well for our team.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

The product is still relatively new, so they're still working out some kinks and building out some of the self-serve functionality. That said, they are super responsive to feedback and issues get resolved quickly one way or another.

We have complex comp planning needs for our team, and Candor is flexible enough to accommodate.

Candor has a great UI/UX and is extremely user friendly. We started working with CandorIQ in order to get access to more robust global compensation data, and we are very happy with the tool. The CandorIQ team also provides incredible support. They are extremely responsive and knowledgeable.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

Nothing in particular. I'm very excited to see what CandorIQ builds in the future, and I think the product will continue to keep getting better and better.

**What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

The customer support at CandorIQ is unmatched. We switched from Kamsa to CandorIQ because from day one, the Candor team took the time to understand our unique needs as an organization and customize the platform accordingly. One of the things I like best about Candor compared to other tools is that it is infinitelty customizable; from the comp builder which allows you to easily build out pay ranges for new and existing roles, to the merit cycle which allows you to seamlessly run different budget models in local currency and assign varying levels of permissions to leadership and managers. By giving managers access to their teams' compensation data to make recommendations directly in the platform, they have a newfound sense of agency in the process and trust in the equity of our programs. CandorIQ has saved us weeks in the comp cycle by better leveraging the input of dept leaders and managers.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

The CandorIQ platform is relatively new so when I come across a certain functionality that would be helpful (e.g. the ability to have different % increases by performance rating per geo for our merit cycle), it sometimes needs to be built. The good news is that they often roll out new features before I can request them. And the fact that SigFig is an early customer means we've had an impact on the the product roadmap and the Candor team has been able to quicly turnaround solutions.

**What problems is CandorIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our previous annual compensation cycle was heavily manual (spreadsheets), time consuming, and left most managers and employees feeling in the dark about how compensation decisions were made. By making the process more efficient and transparent, CandorIQ has enabled our HR and leadership team to focus more time on other priorities while enhancing employee confidence in our total rewards and improving overall employee engagement.

The International benchmarking data is fantastic.  We really enjoyed the quick and helpful support as we got up and running and the level of ongoing support has continued.   I use CandorIQ on a dailly basis now and it's been so easy to to use.

**What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

What I like best about CandorIQ is the ability it gives me to synthesize disparate information into an easy to use platform. It also unlocks easy collaboration and enablement across the business on compensation which in itself is super valuable. The uplift and ease of execution the product provides for annual adjustments, compensation benchmarking, compliance monitoring, and overall compensation maangement is unmatched. It's a dream tool that replaces the half dozen tabs I use to keep open in my browser.

The downside of CandorIQ is like any new product its feature depth is still improving. But given how new the product is I honestly am impressed with where they are right now. I had to think hard about what I dislike about it so I think that says something.

**What problems is CandorIQ solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A complete view into company wide compensation is the biggest benefit. The siloed info contained in our payroll system, equity management tool (Carta), performance data, comp market data, etc. made it difficult to gain a complete picture of our workforce. I was living in a homegrown spreadsheet prior to CandorIQ. Now I'm able to understand the interplay between the siloed data and take proactive action. It's made me more responsive as a leader and avoid costly attrition. The product also empowers the wider business to understand compensation as it relates to market data and the distribution across teams and employees.

**What do you like best about CandorIQ?**

A one-shop tool for all your compensation and merit cycle needs. CandorIQ's team was incredibly responsive to both feedback and collaborative with feature requests. They built and implemented requested features quickly and kept us in the loop along the way, ensuring both their service and platform was personalized and met our company's needs. We moved from Pave to CandorIQ for the platform itself, but also for the white-glove service, and we stand by that decision.

**What do you dislike about CandorIQ?**

We are relatvely new to the CandorIQ platform, and there isn't currently anything that would turn us away from using the tool moving forward. The only thing to bear in mind is that the tool is relatively new, and as such there is constant refinement and updates. If something you need is missin, talk to the team. My experience has been that they will either implement it relatively quickly, or put it on their roadmap.

- Primarily self-serve
- Has access to Mercer’s comptrix data
- White glove service
- Can apply differentials by geo code
- Includes a range creation tool

The Eng/Product team is super easy to work with, resolves issues quickly, is responsive to feedback, and has used our feedback to quickly implement features to meet our specific company needs.

As we have global employees in countries with no HRIS, we have to rely on their team to upload their data.
