I've been using Candidate.ly for just over a month. I've noticed a lot more client interaction with my CV submissions and it makes the profiles extremely easy for clients to keep track of them all in one place, rather than tracking back through their emails. There's nothing I dislike about Candidate.ly. I would like to see a feature where it sends a reminder to the client if they haven't viewed the profile. However, I believe that this is coming in a future update. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the way that clients can flick through the resume profiles for the candidates added for a particular role. This makes it much easier for them to compare resumes and the chat section makes sure all information and communication for each candidate are in one place. The feature which allows you to keep a track of when a client has viewed a resume is really helpful as busy clients may not have time to respond straight away but I am informed they have had a look. I found that from a client's view, there was one bar limiting the view of the profiles on the main portal page - I reported this to Jan as an issue and he was very appreciative and passed it on to his team to have a look at. Candidate.ly is extremely helpful and an integral part of our daily client communication. The most helpful aspect of Candidate.ly is the ability to see when a company clicks the Candidate.ly link and views the candidate's resumes. Another helpful aspect of Candidate.ly is the automated "Recruiter Notes" section; it saves our recruiters a substantial amount of time. The best part of Candidately is both the ease of use, and the reporting function. With Candidately as soon as your candidate's profile is viewed you are informed via email. The only part of Candidately that I am not satisfied with is how candidates are added to the system. We work collaboratively and copying other candidates can be difficult and time-consuming. This is my only main issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy the overall user friendly UI. Additionally, I love hearing how much our clients are impressed with it. Candidately is light years ahead of the competition. The ease of use and the consistent updates have been really impressive, I especially like how easy it has become to edit and make changes on the fly. I can't think of too many downfalls for using candidately, if I had to be picky I'd say that Hello Gustav doesn't let you add customized skills. Would be nice to be able to add skills that aren't on the dropdown menu.

I think that the best thing about this service is how user-friendly and smooth the process is when uploading candidates and submitting their profiles. To be honest, at this stage I don't have any particular dislike. If I was to give some constructive criticism it would be the fact you can't remove someone from being able to access the profile once it's been sent, I do understand that this is in development so hopefully not an issue for much longer. I enjoy the collaboration that this tool allows for client teams. As well, I also find it useful to see data pertaining to the list's activity.
