At the end of each of the last two searches she helped us with, we debated over multiple strong candidates we wanted to make an offer to. That's a good problem to have. On our first call together she was great - she asked great questions, got to know me and what I was looking for, and was just generally easy to talk to and warm. Where a lot of these initial recruiter screens go south is when you feel like the person is sifting through the "Rolodex of candidates" to find skill-set matches only, with a lot of alignment to the hiring company and very little care for the candidates. Jaycie's approach was to understand first and foremost what I was all about - and then to act as a facilitator between myself and the company. In this case, she knocked it out of the park. When I eventually met the team a the company in question, the culture fit was an absolute match. Ultimately, mostly due to timing, I ended up taking another position at a different org before fully finishing my cycle with the company Jaycie was assisting. However, I hope this shows that even though Jaycie and I weren't able to make this specific scenario pan out, I still think extremely highly of her work ethic and process. I had 150+ conversations with dozens of agencies and companies during my most recent search, and Jaycie is by far the standout experience and the person I'd think of first if I ever open up a search in the future. **What do you like best about Candidate Labs?** Jaycie excelled at the little things that mean so much. She prepped me for each call with either an email, or phone call, or both. She followed up after each conversation to get my feedback and thoughts. It was not an easy decision as Candidate Labs made it very difficult after really highlighting who they are, their values, future and how they operate internally. I met with several people in the company including one of the co-founders, the VP and a few peers in the same role. All were fantastic people and great experiences. **What do you like best about Candidate Labs?** The thing I liked best was who I met with during the process and the things we covered. Everyone did stellar in selling Candidate Labs and answering all the questions I had. Lauren Howard initially reached out to me and she was fantastic. She did a great job describing her similar path to mine and the transition she made into Candidate Labs. Furthermore, she did a great job being my guide throughout the process checking in each time before and after all my conversations with other people and assisting to make sure I was best prepared in each step. I next met with Kendra Morales who is the VP of Client Services. She was amazing in the fact to see how passionate she was about her team. I think she encompasses everything you would want in a leader and mentor. She's very personable and down-to-earth and sees you as a real person outside of work. I then met with one of the co-founders, Michael Zhang. Michael is very intelligent yet very humble. He dove into the analytics and numbers of the company and broke them down into terms that not only resonate but get you excited. He also talks about how unafraid he is to get into the trenches with his reps to help make sure they get these placements across the finish line. They took the time to thoroughly understand our specific requirements, comp structure, and culture, and course-corrected quickly based on feedback. All of the companies she introduced to me were very interesting and offered all of the aspects in a next position that we discussed (compensation, benefits, role responsibility, industry, etc.). We went through a few interviews and her guidance pre-interview was always spot on, helping propel me through the interview process with multiple companies and leaving me with a few options. I can't recommend my recruiter enough - Daria Lovette. **What do you dislike about Candidate Labs?** Nothing comes to mind in terms of dislikes. The market is extremely competitive for these roles but they were able to laser in on the best candidates very quickly. **What do you like best about Candidate Labs?** They were thoughtful and meticulous in their vetting. In particular, their onboarding approach was straight forward but in-depth enough to skip a lot of the learning curve you typically see when starting out new searches. As a result, the candidates we saw were dialed in from the beginning! Unlike most firms, it didn't feel like they were guessing. The account team was helpful, responsive and kept the feedback loop and process extremely tight. True masters of their craft. **What do you dislike about Candidate Labs?** The onboarding process can take a bit longer than what we were used to however it ended up paying off with the quality of candidates we got from the beginning. You either do the work upfront or spend time seeing a lot of candidates who don't fit.
