**What do you like best about Canary Technologies?**

Canary Technologies makes life easier in many different ways for our Resort. First off, the customer service Team is excellent. The website is very user friendly and easy to use for all of our Departments.

**What do you dislike about Canary Technologies?**

Nothing comes to mind. Our Team loves Canary services and we have used them for quite some time now.

**What problems is Canary Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Canary services for contract signatures in our Sales Department, and this makes life easier for everyone involved. We have never had any complaints or issues.

**What do you like best about Canary Technologies?**

Hotels in the Florida market need a lift with regards to customer experience, cleanliness, knowledge base, brand/business portfolio partners/perks etc. digital tipping platform Canary improves hotel staff job satisfaction/fulfillment via tips for good service - seems to help from the data and field studies we've accrued over the last few years in addition to their in-house data of approx $5 lift per hour on average for staff.

**What do you dislike about Canary Technologies?**

Double check the UI and work out any bugs direct with the team in SF (Eric Goldberg is a good guy but go with your designated point of contact of course.  IF you feel like you're not getting fast enough or correct answers to setup anamolies/glitches...it's helpful  to ask for a senior exec to be CC'd in, ask for a roadmap if you think it's an integration issue w your existing tech stack etc.

improving the bottom line for both employees and hoteliers..

I wish it was already integrated into software where we didn't have to login externally

The benefit is more for the customer than it is for us. Customers spend less time at our desk and can get to their room happily and quickly.

**What do you like best about Canary Technologies?**

This authorization form system has easily been the most simple, self explanatory system we have ever used. Everything is so easy to maneuver and locate!

**What do you dislike about Canary Technologies?**

Honestly, there isn't anything to dislike; our company has yet to have an issue with it. Although, I will say the verification code that is needed every time I log in would probably be the only dislike we have. 

**What problems is Canary Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working with previous systems and methods sometimes takes more time then we have to be able to run a desk in a fast paced environment. With Canary Technologies, we have cut our authorization time by more than half versus our previous method. It also allows us to keep track and archive all of our forms in one safe system.

**What do you like best about Canary Technologies?**

Prior to using canary, authorization forms had to be receive via fax machines due to PCI compliance issues. As anyone who lives in the modern era will tell you, getting non-corporate customers to send in authorization forms via fax often feels like it should require a time machine. This not only modernizes the process but also makes it quick and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Canary Technologies?**

There's nothing I don't love about the product. Even when I had issues logging in, their customer service reps were quick to handle the situation.

**What problems is Canary Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Canary has simplified our billing process significantly. That, in and of itself, is a huge benefit.

Reliable and very easy for our guests to use and fill out.

**What do you dislike about Canary Technologies?**

On the hotel end, it does take a while to go back and forth between canary, then our email, etc.  Also, having to go from the authorization form, back to Dashboard, then CC information, then if you forgot what charges back to authorization form.

**What problems is Canary Technologies solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has helped our guests with the authorization process - much simpler that what it was in the past.

**What do you like best about Canary Technologies?**

It is secure and fast responding. Email notifications come very fast after a guest submits a form.

**What do you dislike about Canary Technologies?**

Many of the clients that fill out the credit card authorization forms are with businesses. They often wish to keep those cards on file for future guests under that company. We have run into the issue that the credit card authorization is under a person's name and not under a company. For example, anyone from John Deere Tennessee branch would be under John Smith but when someone makes the reservation they only know that they have a blanket credit card authorization form on file but do not know who it is under. It can take a while to figure out which authorization is for them to use. *It would be nice if there was a field that could be the company name as well as the client's name and then we could just search by company for faster results.

Another issue that I personally do not like is that when someone from my front desk views an authorization and puts the necessary information on the reservation that it still sits in the dashboard looking like no one has done anything with it. It would be nice if it was like email and looked like read and unread or opened/unopened. It just creates more work for me. When I open one and transfer the data and always click processed to move it from the dashboard. It makes me feel better when I know they have all been transferred correctly.

I enjoyed how easy it was to connect with all the support staff to make our transition to Canary. They also offer a tutorial for you and your team to hop onto and understand the program - which is very user friendly. Again, it continues to be seamless while connecting with Canary's team for any questions or concerns.

There isn't anything that I dislike about this program. All is great so far!

Ease of use; very quick to explain to new users how to utilize the system.

**What do you dislike about Canary Technologies?**

Would prefer more options on main page and as admin; ideally seeing the "Business or Guest Name" section on the Dashboard, and combined search options (for instance searching for status "Completed" and action "Dashboard"). I feel some kind of option to have emails sent to one or more admins whenever an authorization is completed as opposed to just the person who created the authorization could also be nice.

I greatly recommend Canary Technologies.

Having a secure, third-party credit card authorization company, to reduce and eventually eliminate the amount of physical authorization forms.

Canary technology made our job safer and easier. Guests feel comfortable to use a safer product.
The program is user friendly and my team love it. The biggest selling point for me would be not having any more faxes to destroy and receive in real time the information.

the biggest problem solved  is No more paper copy of credit card. 
Benefit are many, secure for our guest, easy to use for my team and faster then faxes.

Verification process is helpful in preventing fraudulent charges. Although nothing is foolproof, this is an excellent tool.

The convenience and efficiency of Canary.  I love that I can email it to clients for payment on various items and they have the ease of sending it securely.  We stay in compliance and get payment fast!

That the pending authorizations are not on a separate display from the ones completed

Very simple to use!  I like that we can print out the secure form, capturing the last 4 digits of the credit card.

We do group sales contracts.  I suppose there should be an option on there for a direct bill application.

Sometimes I receive the deposit now before-e I receive the contract.  That is refreshing.

So simple to fill out the form, then copy and send the link for the client to fill out.

I would like to be able to see notes what the client is authorizing - room and tax only or all charges, and in some cases that the card is to be used for all that company's reservations for the remainder of the year.

Super simple to use. It barely took any training for our staff and we use it alot. 

**What do you dislike about Canary Technologies?**

That we didn't have it before! Don't really have anything negative to say. Its pretty straightforward.

Got rid of the credit card authorization forms. Guest love the ease of use. We've also seen a pretty big reduction in chargebacks.

Canary system allow us to store and easily search credit card information using the search function.

**What do you dislike about Canary Technologies?**

More fields can be added for search; for example last four digits of credit card number, etc...

We are transitioning towards a paper-less environment and the usage of Canary help give us an extra step towards that.
