"Best app for business and personal accounts"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Canary Mail?

Helpful in decluttering and easy to use design. The aut selection for unimportant emails is very easy to use and super useful for quick massive spam emails or newsletters to the trash without having to go through and choose each email individually Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canary Mail?

When favoriting contacts they dont favorite or subscribe to the domain name itself but rather by website/new contact. If you dont make sure all emails from one domain are favorited itll only filter in the favorited and leaves out other notifications from the same domain Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Nothing much to set itself apart for the base user"

What do you like best about Canary Mail?

Easy to set up and use. Looks a lot like the native client. Easy to get the hang of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canary Mail?

Licensing is per device. Should be per account instead. Having to pay separately to access the same account on two devices is a bummer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Wonderful Email Portal for All Your Email Addresses!"
5/5
What do you like best about Canary Mail?

Canary Mail is loaded with many different features which I find appealing, the best of which I will mention in this review. The first feature which I feel deserves mention is the ability to incorporate multiple email accounts, from multiple different email providers, into the same Canary Mail portal. For example, I have incorporated five email addresses, some of which are personal and some of which are for business, into Canary Mail. The email providers which I have incorporated into Canary Mail range from Gmail to Outlook for business use to more obscure and not as well known providers such as Rediffmail and Yandex for personal use. This shows that Canary Mail is very convenient and does not discriminate against individuals who might use email services that are not widely known, which I very much appreciate. The second feature which I find very convenient and noteworthy is Canary Mail’s syncing capability. Specifically, for users of Apple devices such as iMacs, iPhones, and iPads, the individual is granted the ability of having his or her mailboxes automatically reflect each others’ contents in real-time as long as all of the aforementioned devices are connected to the internet. So, for example, if an email is received or an email is deleted from a certain mailbox using an iMac, for instance, the very same change will be reflected on a user’s iPhone and/or iPad in real time, which is an incredibly nice feature. The third feature I would like to mention is Canary Mail’s notification system. Like most other services from competitors, Canary Mail notifications are standard when a new email message is received, and this apples to all types of devices, (standard meaning a typical banner is displayed and an associated sound is presented to alert the user). What makes Canary Mail notifications stand out, however, is the ability to respond automatically to the email, right from the aforementioned notification banner. Namely, once a notification banner is visible to the user, all it takes to automatically respond, (if necessary), is to click on the notification in order to have a reply field pop up. The user is able to type his or her message into this response field, click send, and the job is done. Overall, Canary Mail is a fantastic email service portal and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is willing to give it a try. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Canary Mail?

As can probably be extrapolated via the high praise I give Canary Mail, there is not much I can point out as a negative when it comes to its features, capabilities, and usability. However, if I were asked to point out a feature which can be further worked on for an even more user-friendly experience, it would be the ability to add attachments to the “quick reply feature” that comes out as a result of the banner notifications. Currently, I am only able to reply with text to an incoming email message using the quick reply feature, which is great in and of itself, but had I been able to add attachments to these replies, the experience would have been even more convenient. This is definitely not a huge deal, but if anything, that could be a feature that can be further enhanced. I also think that it would be nice if Windows and Linux PC users could have the option of downloading the Canary Mail application onto their devices. I feel it would only serve a greater purpose if the software would be available to a more diverse array of operating systems. Other than these two minor aspects, I really do not have much else to report as being detrimental when it comes to Canary Mail and its exceptional service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
