I really like how easy Camtasia is to use, with a simple interface that allows me to quickly put together training videos. I can effortlessly drag and drop different assets, do voice narration and subtitles, and edit keyframes and transitions. It's quite advanced yet user-friendly. I especially like the way different animations can stack over the top, allowing me to add elements such as text with different styles that fit my brand and the tone of the video. So there's not a great deal actually that I would improve, to be honest. The main gripes I have with the software is that maybe it doesn't quite have a fluid interface in some aspects. So you've got to kind of refer to documentation for some aspects of it because they're sort of nested away in different interface. I think the quality of the recorded demos varies quite a bit. If I'm recording something for a simulation, it is perfect, but if I'm recording myself drawing on a piece of paper on my desk for a tutorial, the quality is a bit lower (tried three different cameras). I do think that one area of enhancement could be that Camtasia could dip its toe into the learning management pool.
