**What do you like best about CampSite?**

All the camper, family, and staff information is right at your fingertips, making it easy to access whenever you need it. Plus, the entire Leadership Team can use it, ensuring that everyone who requires access has it.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

There is so much you can do with the website that it can feel a bit intimidating at first. However, the advantage is that once you get the hang of it, it really makes camp much easier!

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Parents are required to provide all the necessary information upfront, which saves us from having to follow up with them later. Throughout the camp day, all camper details are easily accessible, allowing our team to make well-informed decisions. This is particularly useful when organizing groups (bunks), adjusting camper placements, and communicating with parents in a targeted manner.

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

Campsite has a wonderful support team who are very attentive to our needs as a team and as an organization. I also appreciate that they follow up on issues with good timing! I appreciate that in the advanced reports button, I can find update information about what kinds of materials our families have been submitting.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

It is a bit bulky, and has many different features that we do not yet use. Parents also (since we work with so many first generation families) are unfamiliar with how to use online portals, and we play tech support sometimes to help them login.

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We admit over 200 students into our camps each summer, which involves a lot of paperwork! I really appreciate the centalized platform that Campsite provides for parents to send in all of their registration materials, in time. I also appreciate the quality customer support that comes with using a new website and platform.

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

We invested in Campsite for our inaugural 2024 summer camp season, and it completely transformed the way we run our programs. I’ve worked in camp administration for 17 years, and this is the first time I’ve seen one platform seamlessly integrate everything—medical forms, staffing, communication, attendance, and more—all in one place.

The software is intuitive, robust, and incredibly adaptable. What sets Campsite apart is that if there’s something you need that isn’t there, their team actually listens—and if possible, they build it. The live training sessions are thorough and allow your whole team to ask questions specific to your setup, which makes the onboarding process efficient and collaborative.

But above all, the support team is truly next level. From customizing our initial build to quickly answering every question we’ve had since, their responsiveness and attention to detail have made a huge impact on our success.

Because Campsite worked so well for our summer program, we’ve now purchased it for our preschool camp and afterschool programs as well. It's been an absolute game-changer for our organization.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

At first glance, Campsite can feel overwhelming—there are so many features and operational tools that the backend may seem complex when you’re first getting started. But once you complete the training and go through your first season, it truly becomes second nature.

What’s incredible is that as you grow more comfortable, you start to uncover new functions and deeper capabilities you didn’t even realize you needed. It continues to deliver more value the longer you use it, and that’s what makes it such a powerful tool for running a camp or youth program.

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't even know where to begin—Campsite completely revolutionized how we manage camp. For years, we were buried in paperwork every summer, juggling forms, waivers, medical info, and endless email attachments. Now? It’s all in one place.

The platform has eliminated the paper shuffle. Every bit of information is securely stored, easily accessible, and shared across our whole team—no more forwarding attachments or chasing down updates. The medical portal alone is worth it—it’s formatted to Department of Health standards and gives us peace of mind when it comes to compliance and safety.

From the parent side, the dashboard is incredibly user-friendly. Families can upload forms, sign waivers, provide emergency contacts, authorize pick-ups, answer custom questions, and even receive daily updates—all in one place. It’s eliminated the need for chaotic inboxes and last-minute form chasing, which is especially helpful if your camp isn’t on-site year-round and you’ve had to move materials back and forth every season.

The built-in communication tools via email and text are another game-changer. Instead of multiple platforms and disconnected threads, everything flows through Campsite, keeping our staff coordinated and our families informed. It’s streamlined, smart, and exactly what we needed.

New for us this year is the Camp Today blog, which will replace the Google and Dropbox folders we’ve relied on in the past. It gives families immediate access to daily updates about their child’s camp experience—without our team spending hours creating newsletters. It’s efficient, polished, and a huge win for both staff and parents.

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

When we switched our registration process to CampSite last year, we weren't sure how it would work compared to our old method of registering students more manually. We learned a lot of lessons and have streamlined the process for 2025, with CampSite support helping us every step of the way! Seriously, their support team is amazing, they respond within the same day and always address the issue (except in instances where a product feature doesn't yet exist).

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

We're unable to restrict admin users' access by enrollment session / bundle / option, which is unfortunate as an organization that runs camps across the country. It would be great to be able to restrict visibility so that staff at each site only have access to data for their site (and not others), but hopefully this will roll out soon!

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Previously, we processed all of our camp registration documents manually, which was very time-consuming. Now, with Campsite, we've turned paper forms into webforms and can bulk-email personalized reminders to families!

Using CampSite has been very helpful for streamlining the registration process. Handling data for over 300 students can be difficult, but the platform can be adaptable. The best part of using CampSite is working with the support team! They're reliable and have a quick turnaround time.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

Unlike the other camper forms, the transportation form is uneditable and students/families are unable to see what stop they selected. This has been confusing for families and requires a workaround on our end.

Scaling our program means we need a centralized place to store and track registration documents - CampSite will allow us to successfully do that!

CampSite makes camp management seamless. It’s easy to navigate, with smooth registration, detailed reports, and great communication tools. As a marketing and communications staff member, I love how effortless it is to keep parents informed and share photos of their children. Anything I can’t figure out is just a quick phone call away—support is always helpful. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

Though security on our camp management software is vital, I do with their was an alternative secure sign in method that didn't require me to change my password every month. For example, a 2-step verification instead.

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Campsite sometimes had bugs in their emailing feature making some of the customizations hard to use. Campsite often (almost weekly) does bug fixes on their software.

Transitioning to CampSite has been a real asset for us. It streamlines everything onto one cohesive platform, making it super convenient for both the staff and campers. With its simplified staff management and smooth registration process, tasks that used to take hours are now easily managed.

The transportation module is difficult to use for the moment. I'm hoping that, since it's new, it will become more streamlined through future updates.

I love having everything all in one in place. Campsite has something for staff, campers and transportation. All three can link together. Transportation is a big role in camp for us as a local travel camp.

I wish campsite had a way to create forms like google forms. That would be helpful for confirmations and events.

Campsite helps me create bus routes, as a person who didn't grow up or know the area it's very useful.

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

I have been using Campsite since 2015 and am very happy with it.  I use it for camper enrollment and staff applications.  Both parents and staff give positive feedback about their experience.  Also, customer service is excellent.  It was very easy to transitition from my previous camp managment software to Campsite.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

We offer extended care and Campsite is not able to automatically bill familes for hours used.  I would like to be able to automate the process of billing for extra time used.

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Campsite allows parents to create an account and access it year to year so it allows for easy of enrollment for returning families.  For new families, the application is very easy to cmplete.  For staff, I can accept application, track progess through the screening and hiring process and once hired, I can do onboarding via Campsite.  This simplifies my hiring and onboarding.  Campsite has a text message feature which allows me to more easily commincate with both camp famlies and staff.

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

It handles all of the most complicated parts of summer camp registration with ease (medical information and forms, multiple enrollment years, online registration, hiring of staff).

Registration is customizable and granular and able to handle strange quirks. The advanced reporting feature is incredibly thorough and modular, and can help us pull just about anything we need. 

The service team is so helpful and prompt, and never hesitates to walk us through questions in detail.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

It doesn't have a robust enough solution for conferences and rentals for the shoulder seasons. The current offerings are not adequate for the number of type of events we run, so we use a third software for that. We'd love to one day integrate. 

The program module does not take data from custom forms, so even though we have an activity form, we have to fill out the activity fields manually for each camper which is time consuming and tedious.

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracks campers, parent information, forms, finances, medical on the camper side. Does hiring from application, to hiring, to scheduling, to skills veryfiying, to completion of contract (not payment) for staffing. Handles 1 off events like reunions and family camps. Maintains medical information and records in a secure environment.  Really a one stop shop that does almost everything we could need.

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

I really like the advanced reports function. You are able to customize reports about your campers or staff to pull any information you might need. We used advanced reports a lot! Its easy to add fiters and fields and customzie it to your needs. You can save these reports to revisit at any time. You can download and export them into excel. If you need to know things like how many campers are coming from a specific location or how many campers ride bus B. you can also use it to figure out who still has outstanding paperwork or an outstanding balance. its great!

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

Some of the financial/billing pieces were a little confusing when I first started using campsite. After watching some videos and some time using it now I have little to no difficulity. Any time I have run into an issue I have been able to figure it out through the FAQ or help center under the support tab

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a camp within an agency and campsite helps us to keep our billing and registration seprate and all in one place. We are able to do all our pre camp admin work through campsite.

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

Without a doubt, the customer service. No matter the issue, their repsonse is timely and accurate. From the first training session to my last call for help, I've always felt valued. I'm quite certain I've never waited more than minutes for a response. Not only that, they always follow up to be sure my problem has been resolved.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

We've been so overwhelmingly pleased with CampSite that I hate to even answer this question. If I have to knit-pick, I guess I could say that I wish session dates rolled over to the corresponding weeks for the next year, instead of rolling over to the exact dates. Making the date changes myself costs a whopping five minutes of my time.

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CampSite has made our online registration as easy as it's ever been for our camp families. It's simple, straight forward and user-friendly. For me personally, they typically solve small issues like how to attach a new tuition cost to a new camp offering or something similar. Which is nothing more than a byproduct of my forgetfulness.

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

All the different modules that let us manage campers, staff, documents, medicals, finance, and now even donors for non-profits!  Nothing is worse than having to spread out your operations to different platforms, the best thing about CampSite is that it is all in one, and they are constantly adding new features and modules that change with the times and new technologies and media.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

There really is nothing I technically dislike about CampSite.

Keeping our records all in one easy to use platform that is quick, reliable, and usable from anywhere and on mobile/tablets.

We have a wishlist of custom functionality that not everyone needs that we'd like to deploy and that's not easy as they are improving the software and putting resources towards other add ons to the functionality.

Our favorite thing about Campsite is their responsivness. They take time to listen and adjust when needed for their clients. They are prompt and willing to help any time we need them. They system is user friendly and customisable to our brand, which I love.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

It's not as "fancy" as some of the larger more expensive companies but it meats our needs well for our size and capacity.

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They allow us to disable gender feilds! This is huge and was the reason we chose them over others who were not willing to offer this feature.

Easy to do annual set up.  Easy to use for admin staff as well as health office and coordinators

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

financial data from camp site does not alligh with our agency reporting requirements, but its worth the extra work to stick with camp site.  camp site treats financials by family, our agency requires us to report by individual campers.

Great documentation for the health office and our families are now very familiar in navigating. Analytics are also great

Campsite is such a wonderful resource and tool to help manage large groups of individuals whether you are a camp group or even a school group with multiple levels. It has everything you can think of. I especially love the email feture where you can communicate to all the families and students/campers with easy email templates or simply create emails yourself.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

I think the only thing I can say I dislike about campsite is sometimes the user interface seems a bit slow and outdated. The main screen is modern but then when going into certain parts in the website, it reverts to its original layout.

The problem campsite is solving is having a management software for us to use that has all features needed to manage a large group of students, staff, and parents all in one. It is very versatile for whatever needs you may have.

The user-friendly aspects are far and away the most important thing, however, the capacity for everything it can do for us has greatly influenced our team's time, and allowed for a much more professional and safe program. I can't say enough about it

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

There are already so many financial options, the only thing that we would like is for a better way to speak directly to our other systems to integrate the finances more seamlessly.

The attendance and bus management has been so important for the safety of our campers. All of the family management tools, the finance reporting, the parent dashboard. I could talk about it for hours!

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

It is very easy to implement new forms, ideas etc. It integrates into our camp processes fairly well including the Program dashboard. It also easily uses the Events dashboard for separate bookings outside of our overnight summer camp.

I wish you were able to have a review status for staff forms as well as their were more features with the Medical dashboard.

**What do you like best about CampSite?**

Campsite allows me to store all of my information in one place. It shows the histroy of all of the changes and I can track all of the programs that one child or family has been a part of in the past/

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

I run an afterschool program that has electives every day. There is not an easy way to register kids for many different sessions and the dashboard can become overwhelming and clunky.

We needed a CRM that would allow us to run registration and billing through one place. Since I run an afterschool program and not a camp there were some difficulties with capacity setting, certain payment options and overall user friendly ideas on the parent facing end.

Our nonprofit organization uses Campsite on a daily basis. We offer multiple programs each month and Campsite allows me the ease of registration and capture data with ease. The data piece is crucial for our grant efforts and makes a difference. The customer service is top-notch and easy to reach.

Campsite can be overwhelming at first. There are several menu pages so knowing where to navigate can be a challenge when looking for something specifically.

Customer service.  It has most of the functionality we need.  When it doesn't, staff is usually good at figuring out a workaround.

**What do you dislike about CampSite?**

We can't personalize the statement. There is no attendance function for staff.  We can't print out a weekly attendance sheet.

**What problems is CampSite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I used to have to do everything in excel and follow up on payments manually.  This has reduced my camp specific workload by about 75%

Campsite is how we keep track of all the participants in our program. It is used as a database but also as a way for people to register for our summer camp sessions.

There are permanent fields I would like to change sometimes and do not have the capability to do so. It can be hard to teach someone to use this program if they have no prior use.

I get constant notifications from them, but I guess that’s not an awful thing.
