Sometimes the REO and Liability sections do not transfer over correctly to the wholesale lender. This may be due to the fact they were not associated correctly in Point or it may be a glitch that may even be worked out by now. In other words, when a point file is uploaded to a wholesale lender, sometimes the originator says that they associated all the liabilities and REOs correctly and that it didn't transfer to our system. The software sometimes crashes when I am generating documents as a PDF attachment within an email - all through the print option. This doesn't happen if I just print to PDF and then manually attach that file to an email. What I best liked about Calyxx Point was that it was not a Web based program like Empower and was not subject to system delays with other LOS's i've worked with. The Calyxx point LOS made entering 1003 loan application information easy and seamless Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From my experience all pages of the 1003 loan application could not be entered on one main page. You needed to manually click through all 5 pages of the loan application to enter the required info Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Point allows me to originate loans, but the system is clunky. It hasn't changed much in the 10-years I've used it. There are hundreds of forms that different lenders require. It would be nice if they were searchable. They are not. Setting up templates is time consuming. Much of the information could be pre-populated, but isn't.
