Call Welcome is an AI phone receptionist that helps Canadian home-service trades answer the calls they miss. It is built for owner-operators and small crews in plumbing, electrical, heating and cooling, roofing, garage doors, painting, tile, paving, landscaping, pool installation and home cleaning. The business keeps its own phone number and sets call forwarding on no answer to its Call Welcome number, so only unanswered calls reach the receptionist. The receptionist tells every caller it is an AI and that the call is transcribed, answers questions from the business's profile, and takes down what the caller needs. Each message is texted to the owner and saved in an online inbox with the call's transcript. Key features: - Answers missed calls at any hour, on the business's existing number - Takes the caller's name, callback number, address, the job, urgency and best time to call back - Flags the emergencies the owner defines and can put them straight through to the owner's phone - Gives safety instructions on gas and life-safety calls and sends the owner a safety text - Answers questions about hours, service area and services, and declines sales calls - Books visits into the owner's Outlook calendar during the call (Standard and Pro) Each trade starts from its usual services and emergencies, which the owner can change in the portal. The portal shows every call with its type, outcome, length and transcript, and lets the owner block numbers. Calls are not recorded, and transcripts and messages are stored in Canada. Call Welcome is for Canadian businesses and works with any Canadian mobile or landline that supports conditional call forwarding. Plans are priced by minutes: Starter at $99 CAD a month with 400 minutes, Standard at $199 with 800, and Pro at $299 with 1,200, plus tax. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, billed only if the receptionist is live by then, with no contract. On the Standard and Pro plans, the receptionist also books visits into the owner's Outlook calendar while the caller is on the line, within the hours the owner sets. Google Calendar and field service software are coming soon.
