I have had an account for over 5 years and had a couple of questions and they will only talk via chat and said they do not have any option to speak with a live person and do not provide any customer service number! **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** it is not ### 2. I may have given it a second chance, but rude customer service was the final straw. **What do you dislike about Calendly?** I don't like that Calendly didn't fulfill its main value proposition, which is particularly disappointing since the last encounter was entirely ineffective. I was really frustrated with the customer service, as they were rude. Also, the confirmation email didn't help at all—it lacked the date, time, or a meeting link, just pushing a free trial instead. It's annoying because the whole point is to make booking meetings easy, but now it just made things complicated for me. **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** Calendly worked for booking meetings in the past, but recently failed, sending a confirmation email without critical details, leading to frustrations and extra work. ### 3. I had to follow up with an email before I even received a response. My issue was not resolved. I never received the email that she sent apparently twice so that I could change my billing information. I did check my spam folder several times. I don't think it's the agent, she was polite when I did receive her emails. Honestly, I think it's Calendly's system. Are you guys understaffed? Your software should just give me the option to change my own billing information like literally every other software I use. I can log in and click update billing and I have access to all my own information. Making a user email support, wait god knows how long, follow up, wait for an email, and then still not receive it and not be able to change their payment information is RIDICULOUS. I used Calendly as my client booking system. If my payment method hadn't gone through in time and I would have lost service, that impacts my business. That's not ok with me. We've been using it for years, but now a lot of clients are reporting that they cannot book a meeting through calendly link. Their support is totally unresponsive, they are not giving any reasonable timeline for fixing this and we're simply loosing money because Calendly is not doing what it was supposed to do. But it's so simple that they don't even want to develop. For instance filtering you can only filter by emails, when you want to look up somebody that has an appointment you can't even look them up by their name first name last name or phone numer - only by email. You don't have a white overview of your appointments on the calendar. Did try always to give you a workaround instead of solving the problems. **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't have any problems I just want things to work. ### 7. Horrific support only via email without followup. When attempting to get support, chatbot provides option for transferring to live agents or live chat with product experts, which they do not have. Support tickets handled only through email. Ticket responses include instructions to go to live chat along with inaccurate self-help articles, often unrelated to support issue. Tickets are closed and marked as solved after response emails are sent without the customer validating the issue has been resolved. Signed up for paid account and experienced the issues outlined above so downgraded to free. When attempting to troubleshoot functionality issues for features included in free version, system responses with prompts to upgrade in order to use the particular function. **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** The intended solution is not delivered and therefore not benefiting. Instead have required excessive time for support, missed meetings due to inconsistent sync (acknowledged as problems with their solution) and duplicate bookings. ### 9. But I was turned away with no resolution numerous times with them **What do you dislike about Calendly?** I dislike that I have to pay for 6 seats just so I can post numerous classes at the same time. 191 dollars a month to possibly fill up a few classes. Not to mention me reaching out and explaining my situation and them not caring. Also when I had two accounts by accident she didn't care and said it was my problem to cancel it. They wouldn't issue refund at all. AQUITY USE AQUITY! **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** They have only created issues but by the grace of god I'm smarter than most people and was able to piece their software together run a way that doesn't ruin my business but when I'm paying 2200 ish for a software it's so frustrating. Because other people are using it the same as I am but the way my business works is we stack classes so I have to set an instructor for each class ### 10. Customer service was unhelpful in telling me to log in to cancel. They didn't get back to me when I told them this. ### 11. I upgraded three months ago. But this last week with three new listings nothing worked properly: I was unable to extend showing times - I extended but they did not make it to the showing page. this happened on all three listings. On one listing Calendly confirmed a showing appointment outside of the showing hours. Imagine my clients and my surprise when an unexpected agent showed with buyers outside our showing time BUT with a confirmed appointment. Of course, the buyer and their agent were not happy. I reached out to the support - no online chat, no phone number and for two days I have not heard anything back. **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** This week it has created nothing but problems. ### 12. Product setup is easy. **What do you dislike about Calendly?** Terrible customer service, the product has major flaws and issues with integrations. If you need a booking system for sporadic interviews or calls, Calendly will do. If you need a solid software to handle 20+ appointments per day, look for something else. **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am trying to let customers book appointments autonomously. This is the typical kind of product where the people first wrote the machinations in code based on their personal way of dealing with websites and computers. They then came up with an interface that only makes sense to someone who knows those machinations the rest of us never see. Give me a way to get my appointment with someone from my contact's schedule. Is there a special check in page that doesn't show up in my Chrome passwords? Your review form asked for a screenshot. First, I tried to get a screenshot by down loading my Minister's Calendly page. All that did was put a file on my desk top that would not show up when I pushed your "Upload a screenshot" button. I tried the MacroShaft, Shift and S key to make a screenshot to my clipboard. I could not download that, either. I tried file:///C:/Users/Roderick%20Sprague/Desktop/Calendly%20-%20Elizabeth%20Stevens.html and also the link to that page on her ministerial contact page in the download from my desktop space. I got the broken document icon on your "Upload a screenshot" space each time. My final attempt was downloading the contact page with the link to my minister's Calendly page and nothing was downloadable, either. Also, computer people seem to loose track of doing straightforward things with language. Why is downloading something to you an upload? the only difference is it is a jargonish way of saying I am downloading something off my computer to your network. I even had a computer at the U of I tell me it was preloading my desktop while it had to download my desktop. If it was already on the desktop as soon as I had checked into the lab, it would really would be preloaded. Unless there is a remarkable breakthrough with quantum computing, computers are not capable of precognition. **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** I seemed to have made an appointment with my minister. I am hoping she can clue me in as to when I make said appointment. ### 14. It turns out that dozens of users are actively asking for the same thing, which means there are potentially hundreds of needing wanting it but not making noise about it. Calendlyis ignoring these requests and deferring by sending people to a forum that is apparently not even looked at by dev. **Recommendations to others considering Calendly:** If you want to integrate with conferencing check first the limited Calendly integrations. There are free alternatives that do just as well due to these limitations. **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** It does make finding available times easier for multiple parties. But there are now free services that do this just as well. As it stands I won't be renewing. ### 15. When I reached out to support I asked if it was something I did. I was told no and this is something that our development team needs to look into. It has since happed 5 additional times in the last 14 days where the option to add events directly to our calendars has just randomly turned off which impedes my business. Their customer support ONLY reaches out via Email and refuses to escalate my issue to a manager. Poor customer service all around and as a PAYING customer, I expect issues to be resolved. I will now be looking at alternatives to calendly. **Recommendations to others considering Calendly:** Find another software **What problems is Calendly solving and how is that benefiting you?** None - At this time Calendly is more of a hindrance than a help. ### 16.
