CadVex is CNC machining quoting software for machine shops, job shops and estimators. It covers milling, turning, mill-turn and multi-axis work. Upload the customer's STEP file and CadVex analyzes the geometry: it recognizes the machined features, recommends the likely process and setups, selects the stock and builds a detailed cost estimate. Every cost driver is visible and editable: material and stock, setup and programming, machining time by operation, finishing and secondary work, your shop rates, quantity effects and margin. Built-in DFM feedback highlights what changes the price, such as sharp internal corners, deep pockets, thin walls and extra setups, directly on the 3D model before you quote. Turn the reviewed estimate into a customer-ready PDF quote on your own letterhead, with multiple parts and quantities, and track every quote as draft, sent, won or lost, with your win rate and customer statistics. CadVex Cloud runs in the browser, extracts drawing requirements (material, tolerances, threads, finishes) from PDF drawings with AI, and is priced per successful analysis, starting with 5 free analyses. CadVex Desktop runs locally on Windows 11 and Apple Silicon Macs with unlimited analysis and offline use, for shops that keep customer CAD files on their own computers. CadVex is built for the shop that makes the parts. It is not a manufacturing marketplace.
