**What do you like best about Cadmould Flex?**

CADMOULD is an easy‑to‑use, highly capable, and efficient simulation tool. What stands out most for me is the speed of the calculations—I can evaluate processing parameter changes or gate and runner variations very quickly. Even without the VARIMOS package, I’m able to reach meaningful results fast.
The software was also straightforward to learn, and whenever I needed material data that wasn’t yet available, the CADMOULD team responded promptly and provided excellent support.
I also like the fact that there's a free viewer version that makes sharing the results even easier to colleagues or customers.

**What do you dislike about Cadmould Flex?**

This isn’t a major drawback, but a few of the software’s modules would benefit from a refreshed user interface. The development team is actively working on modernizing them, though some modules haven’t been updated yet.

**What problems is Cadmould Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

CADMOULD is highly effective for both plastic and EPDM flow simulations. It helps identify optimal gate locations and runner geometries, and its material modeling is accurate enough to highlight potential molding issues such as air traps, sink marks, and other critical areas. The ability to import mold inserts and cooling components is especially valuable, allowing you to visualize temperature distribution and pinpoint potential hot spots within the mold. Hot and cold runner calculations are  a great benefit as well.

**What do you like best about Cadmould Flex?**

Really love the speed and efficiency. The calculations are much faster than the competitors, without sacrificing accuracy. In our studies we typically are able to calculate simulations 5x faster than using competitor software.

**What do you dislike about Cadmould Flex?**

From our point of view, we currently like everything about cadmould, from the support, ease of use, and speed of calculations.

**What problems is Cadmould Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We work closely in early product development to find any design issues and get them resolved early on to help save time and money. Due to the accuracy of the software we are able to output our warpage stl file and that gets used by our dimensional engineers to loosen any print tolerances into a feasible range. Comparing our warpage stl files to First of CT part scans, we have noticed a good accuracy, and this really helps us on the front end.

Once tools are in production if there are any issues, we also feel confident in Cadmould to provide us with accurate results and help us to develop a robust process settings plan.

CADMould's user interface is streamline making the software easy/quick to use and the support team is quick to respond to any questions.

**What do you dislike about Cadmould Flex?**

The background was changed to a gradient so instead of using print screen to copy pictures of results into our company PowerPoint you have to use the capture within the software to get a white background to make transparent

**What problems is Cadmould Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We design and build all our molds in house. We use CADMould for everything from runner balancing to adding windage

**What do you like best about Cadmould Flex?**

I appreciate the ease of use and variety of features. This software allows me to quickly evaluate parts for molding. It is extremely helpful in DFM activities, as well as optimizing my mold designs. Customer support is very good. The large database of plastic resins and default settings is also great.

**What do you dislike about Cadmould Flex?**

Having to get a code emailed every time I log in to use the software is a bit cumbersome.

**What problems is Cadmould Flex solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem I face as a mold designer is predicting flow characteristics and part quality for various gate locations. This software helps me better understand and predict results before the mold design is finalized and steel is cut.
