I've been loving the pointcloud support. I regularly import 3d scanned models and manipulate them further. Very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an architect working with BIM, I appreciate how lightweight the software is. It opens large models quickly without needing high-end hardware. It's ideal for presentations and walkthroughs, even with clients who have no technical background. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For example, when the production team asking piping details on the ship, I can easily find out the details and troubleshoot every pipe routing issue in production at the site. Dear team.. in Cadmatic free version we can only do the measurements. In my company only 2 licenses are available... There are already 15 staff in the design office. Now we are going to buy another 2 licenses also. But I think that is also not sufficient... At least sectioning and coordinate options are included in the free version... The operation of the software and its ablility to the navigate the model. It is primary tool used internally for review of Model. It also helps us to present with the clients. The most useful eBrowser is for a comprehensive, integrated view of the 3D model from the part related to the ship's hull and equipment. The ability to obtain basic information about an item with one click is also often used. 3D dimensioning tools are also useful in design discussions. During the project, a model is generated every day and heavily used as a support tool. Most users cannot imagine working without it and are very dissatisfied if the eBrowser model is not up to date. Fortunately, it is possible to easily automatically generate a model every day without the need for supervision from the Cadmatic program administrator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The way you move around the model takes some getting used to, especially since it is different than in the Hullviewer application intended for the hull. Another problem is the confusing documentation regarding more advanced configurations, such as links to documentation, which makes it difficult to fully use the capabilities of this application. Unfortunately, it is not possible to configure the eBrowser model generated from Cadmatic Hull in any way and only the eBrowser model from Cadmatic Outfitting can be adapted to the user's needs. it is easy to handle and operate. it doent take much memory of my PC and i can easily handle bulk models unlike other softwares. it also provide feature to merge many files. it is easily implementable. it is used more frequently when you are at site and want to see pipe routing or space availablity. the file can easlily be provided to site. also it integrates many file formats and provide a single file.customer support from cadmatic is just one phone call away..very fast in importing models.. The eBrowser is surprisingly efficient with enormous models.

Specific features that I like are:

* Clipping on a volume query. With very little performance loss when hide showing this visualization.This functionality and performance is unmatched in other software.

* Clipping on a configurable (ship) grid

* Fast navigation in the tree

* A cursor in a 2DLayout of your camera position in the model,

* Markups

* Congurable properties on the tip of the mouse

* Having an offline file of the entire model for easy sharing
