"Massive GPU Acceleration and Automated Meshing in a Modern, Unified CFD Workflow"
4/5
What do you like best about Fidelity CFD Platform?

The Cadence Fidelity CFD platform stands out in the industry for its massive GPU acceleration and highly automated preprocessing workflows. By harnessing GPU power, the software delivers up to a 9x increase in throughput and a 17x reduction in energy costs compared to traditional CPU systems, effectively turning week-long simulations into single-day tasks. Users also highly praise its automated meshing tools, such as Autoseal and Hexpress, which can clean up complex, “dirty” CAD geometries with little to no manual intervention. All of this capability is presented in a unified, modern user interface that brings together legacy NUMECA and Pointwise technologies, replacing confusing setup trees with a more linear, top-down workflow that helps minimize human error and improve overall engineering efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fidelity CFD Platform?

The Cadence Fidelity CFD platform has a steep learning curve and high costs. Its interface can feel intimidating, and the documentation is complex, which slows onboarding and makes it harder to get up to speed. To reach its best performance, it also requires expensive, high-end GPU hardware, which can be budget-prohibitive for smaller firms. On top of that, users report tedious manual setup steps and occasional UI performance lag when working with massive, highly complex industrial geometries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Empowers Complex Simulations, But Learning Curve Remains"
4/5
What do you like best about Fidelity CFD Platform?

I use Fidelity CFD Platform for high fidelity computational fluid dynamics simulation in engineering projects, particularly focusing on mechanical applications where accurate modeling is crucial. I like its combination of powerful solvers and intuitive visualization tools. The meshing process is smooth for complex geometries, and the integration with Cadence design suite makes it easier to link CFD with other domains. This integration allows me to connect fluid simulations directly with structural design workflows, ensuring consistency and saving time. This approach helps me validate entire systems more efficiently, adding significant value to my projects. My team switched to Fidelity CFD Platform because of its tighter integration with Cadence design suite and its robust solvers, which improved our workflow efficiency, reduced data transfer errors, and gave us more confidence in the accuracy of our simulation. I would rate Fidelity CFD Platform 8 out of 10. It's a powerful tool that provides accurate simulations and integrates well with the Cadence system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fidelity CFD Platform?

While the platform is powerful, it has a steep learning curve and demands significant computational resources. The licensing cost is challenging for smaller teams, and meshing workflows sometimes require manual efforts. Improved documentation and UI design would make the platform more accessible. "Easy to Use and Recommendable, with Flexible Market Opportunities"
4/5
What do you like best about Fidelity CFD Platform?

It is good to use, and I would recommend it to people. It allows a good amount to users, and with this we can You never own the underlying asset, meaning you can profit from both rising and falling markets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fidelity CFD Platform?

Cadence Fidelity CFD is hard to learn and very expensive for smaller companies. The software setup is complicated, and the user interface can feel cluttered and slow down during big projects. Users also find the instruction manuals confusing because they lack simple, step-by-step examples. Finally, changing over to this platform from older software is often frustrating and disrupts daily work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Revolutionized CFD with Seamless Automation"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Fidelity CFD Platform?

I really like the automated mesh generation feature because it handles complex dirty CAD data without hours of tedious manual cleanup, thanks to the integrated Pointwise and Hexpress technology. This saves labor hours and reduces human error. Another great feature is the massive GPU acceleration, where the native GPU solver significantly slashes compute times, turning multi-day simulation runs into overnight or same-day results. This provides instant design feedback, allowing engineers to adjust designs immediately as simulations can finish over a lunch break or in a few hours. I also appreciate the ability for teams to run multiple design variants simultaneously on a single workstation, rather than waiting in a long queue for a company's supercomputer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fidelity CFD Platform?

I find there is a steep learning curve when transitioning to the Fidelity CFD Platform from legacy UIs like Numeca FINE or Pointwise, requiring significant retraining. The CAD interoperability is not seamless; complex geometry updates from external CAD programs sometimes require manual re-mapping of boundary conditions. Configuring the advanced hardware and enterprise licensing to actually run the software can be quite challenging. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fidelity CFD: Balancing Usability, Automation, and ROI"
4/5
What do you like best about Fidelity CFD Platform?

Cadence’s Fidelity CFD Platform delivers a masterclass in modern software usability, blending a cohesive design system with powerhouse simulation capabilities. It streamlines everything from initial setup to final analysis, allowing teams to scale design assets without sacrificing consistency. By seamlessly plugging into our existing development tools, it cuts out friction and maximizes collaboration. The platform remains rock-solid and responsive even under heavy data loads, and its intuitive learning curve means new users onboard fast. It’s a high-value asset that has directly accelerated our design delivery and boosted team productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fidelity CFD Platform?

Cadence’s Fidelity CFD Platform delivers solid operational value, but there is clear room to optimize the user experience. Currently, deep-tier features introduce a bit too much friction for onboarding teams, and complex project navigation isn't as seamless as the core UI suggests. We see major opportunities for growth in three key areas: introducing AI-powered automation, deepening compatibility with external toolsets, and allowing more user-defined workspace customization. On a day-to-day level, workflow velocity would instantly improve with sharper search capabilities, automated reporting, and robust batch-editing tools. Even with these hurdles, the platform's core reliability and collaboration features make it a strong, effective tool for design lifecycle management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Cadence Fidelity CFD- Powerful CFD tool but room for improvements"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Fidelity CFD Platform?

I like that the Fidelity CFD Platform is high performance computational fluid dynamics software for accurate and efficient simulations of fluid and thermal systems. I appreciate how it reduces development time and facilitates the early evaluation of the performance of components in terms of fluids and thermal efficiency. The solver and workflow for setting up problem statements are smooth and easy to understand compared to other products in the market, and the integration with Beta CAE's ANSA enhances meshing capabilities. The tool's solver is robust, strong enough to handle complex multi-physics problems with ease, and the step-wise workflow is easy for beginners. ANSA is a strong pre- and post-processor tool that can handle large assemblies and complex geometries with cleaner and reliable meshes. It's also easy to set up on Windows. My team and I are happy with the software and the support we receive from the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Fidelity CFD Platform?

The initial investment in learning the tool is high, especially for someone without prior experience in CFD and tools. It requires a high-spec computer or HPC to run the solver efficiently. Fidelity's own meshing and preprocessor capabilities are limited, and the UI needs much improvement in terms of setup, icons, and case handling and settings for simulations.
