The functionality is excellent. It's like a Google search engine for your own business documents and past project data. Can quickly find drawings or specifications by keyword search. As a salesman, that quickly puts me in touch with similar products or projects for cost reference, lead-time, reflection items, etc. No more clicking endlessly through folders on the server. Having to convert everything to PDF is probably the biggest downside. If there were a way, in the future, to enable uploads of AutoCAD drawings / excel files / word documents / etc. that would be a massive time saver for your customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In regular operations, each department can easily search for information such as estimates for sales, production information for manufacturing, design and development for engineering, and standards and specifications for quality. Looking to the future, this is a very wonderful product that can digitize and capitalize on each department's knowledge and skills. CADDi works best when looked at as an "in process" software. Every time I deposit data into the program, it becomes more valuable to the future of my company.

I appreciate the ability to look back at drawings and old data with a greater ability to search than I would have in my normal file explorer.

In addition, I cannot more highly reccomend the team that comes with the product. NIck and the support team have constantly been at work improving the environment within CADDi for my company for the last 7 months. Constantly. If I had doubts about the viability of the software for my company in the beginning, they have been erased as it has become gradually more customized to our use case. It's a really cool software on it's own, but when the team begins to tool it to fit the application it really begins to make sense.

We use CADDi weekly, and as it gets better and better with more data input every month, we are only finding more uses for it.

CADDi Drawer allows me to revisit past drawings that are critical to my weekly workflow. This is an aspect of the system that allows me to maintain visuals on all ends of my processes to present and push out consistently reliable numbers to my clients. From what would usually take one to two hours to complete an extensive quote brings it down to an average hour.

The ease of searching using key words also makes it seemless for me to maintain positive workflow. Additionally, I really appreciate the immediate customer support provided as it allows me to adjust or easily integrate quickly with the system. With CADDi Drawer still in the early stages there are a number of features that will need working on, but are not detrimental to the everyday workflow. At this point in time, it may just be adjustment to how the system can allow us to search very specific areas of our projects during quotation.

While there aren't any specific issues, one aspect that could be improved is the ability to prioritize information, such as setting time-based notification Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Drawings contain various information such as text, numbers, and shapes, but to quickly access the necessary information from tens of thousands of drawings, it is necessary to categorize what type of information they are. For example, even if the text "ASSY" exists somewhere, picking up a huge amount of search noise will not tell you whether "ASSY" is the title name of the drawing, part of the drawing number, or an assembly instruction within the drawing. CADDi Drawer has a function to extract attribute information from drawings, making it possible to find what I'm looking for more easily.
