Byteplant proves to be an essential service for our operation and especially to our customers (the Hoteliers).

"A Real Life Saver! Literally Several Months of Work into a Couple of Hours"

What do you like best about Byteplant Email Validator?

I work for a school district with about 25 000 students in Arkansas (southern United States). As part of getting ready for opening school in August of 2020, we're needing to match households based on addresses.

Byteplant's service at address-validator.net exactly fits the bill for what I need. I can upload a CSV file of student ids and street addresses, and get back a result file that preserves my student ids so I can match things up and provides the details I need, like:

* The validity of the address

* A consistent, parsed and cleaned up version of the address

* The address split into proper subfields

* A version of the address as a single line

Their parsing system handles CSV files well -- didn't choke at all on a mix of unquoted strings and quoted strings with commas. And it allows you to include 'custom' fields that it returns to you as part of your CSV. And it leaves those fields in the order you supplied -- so if you're working with an address list in a spreadsheet for mail merging, you can continue to use your existing layout with the existing fields.

A simple single field that tells me VALID, INVALID and SUSPECT addresses. In my case, I can generate and share lists with the people responsible for checking the addresses.

Our addresses are entered by a diverse group of individuals, with no data quality checks at all. In the raw data, I've seen extra spaces, missing suffixes (Avenue, Street, etc.), missing directional prefixes (N, S, E, W) and lots of variations on street names. The results from Byteplant give me the perfect information to fix those issues so that it will be much easier to match households from addresses.

The pricing is good enough that I won't have any trouble coming back to the administration asking for funding to repeat the process in the future. The free trial gives you 625 credits to see how their system works -- and you can use them for trying single addresses in their web interface, uploading multiple groups of addresses via CSV files, or -- if youre truly industrious -- using their documented API to utilize their service within your own apps or web pages.

I'm preparing to submit a fairly large set of records and use the results to update our student information system. Hopefully, I can revisit this review to share that it went smoothly -- which I.fully expect it will. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We're fixing addresses entered inconsistently by a large group of users in a student information system.

By using an address validation service, we're fixing typing mistakes that aren't obvious, finding invalid or suspect addresses, and getting all of our addresses in a consistent matching format.

"Must-have solution for email validation"

What do you like best about Byteplant Email Validator?

We are a company offering cyber resilience services. From time to time we send out email newsletters to our customers or potential leads. Since our mailing list gets outdated I use email validator to clean our mailing list before sending out the blast. We have worked with Byteplant for over a year now and are very happy with the quality we are getting. I have tried using another validator but it has not delivered nearly as much clarity in its reports. The reports I get here provide a lot of insight into why the email is valid or not, leaving the ultimate decision to me whether i want to include this or that address into my blast. What do you dislike about Byteplant Email Validator?

The processing times are about 48 hours (sometimes faster), although it is not a problem for us, but I know to some it could be an issue. But then on the upside as I mentioned before, you get MUCH more in your validation reports than you would get from any other company out there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
