BytePad is an AI-native intelligent archival platform from InterScripts. Health systems and government agencies use it to retire legacy EHR, ERP and departmental systems while keeping every record searchable, auditable and available to the people who need it. BytePad migrates structured and unstructured data across HL7, FHIR, X12, DICOM and free-text sources, with chain-of-custody preservation, schema validation and dual-running for clinical continuity. AI Global Search returns results across every archived system in under two seconds, and more than 100 pre-built connectors shorten migrations. Built-in modules cover release of information and disclosure management, accounts receivable workdown, and document management with OCR. BytePad is listed in Epic Connection Hub under Legacy EHR Archive. It runs in commercial Azure and AWS, Azure Government and AWS GovCloud, and inherits InterScripts' HITRUST r2, SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001:2022 controls, with alignment to NIST SP 800-53, HIPAA, CMMC Level 2 and DoD RMF for federal deployments. BytePad was reviewed in the KLAS Emerging Company Spotlight (February 2026), where interviewed customers reported 100% Would Buy Again and an A+ Likely to Recommend rating (emerging data per KLAS methodology).
