I love the Chrome extension and how that is integrated into the program itself. It is quite useful if you are a small or large SEO company. Plus, the CEO is nice when communicating and helpful with fixing app issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's a great tool for documenting progress of an outreach project and for keeping track of all user activity when a particular project is being worked on by a number of people. The email open rates and link click tracking is also very useful. I also love the Buzzbar app as it makes the whole list building process so much quicker. Being able to see comms from previous projects within a particular link partner is also very handy as it gives you a better picture of how they work so you can tailor your approach. It's very obvious when it's in heavy use as it becomes very slow, which when you're working to a time budget, can become a problem. The Discovery element can also be quite buggy - not adding sites to your list, the list you want to add to not showing up etc.

I also find it unhelpful that if when an individual you've reached out to at a particular publication unsubscribes, it marks the whole publication as "DO NOT CONTACT", meaning you're unable to send further emails to anyone. You can overcome this by removing the affected email address, but ideally, Buzzstream would be smarter and just shut down contact to that particular address. I never found a lot of exciting contacts in the research lists. Something that used to be a negative but they fixed recently is the Ahrefs data integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Open and click rate tracking on outreach emails is invaluable, and the ability to send during particular windows of time depending on the campaign is so useful for international outreach. Shared inbox and ability to reply as a colleague also really useful for when people are off sick or on annual leave, to ensure nothing gets missed Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Like most outreach tools, automated prospecting can be a bit off - e.g searching for UK sites and it pulls in USA ones, but not really an issue if you're using a media database (and the buzzmarker tool really speeds up manual prospecting anyway). Sometimes, with no-fault from the platform, my email gets disconnected when it gets 'too hot'. If somehow miraculously Buzzstream would fix that, it would be great (no way this is possible, but just to blow off some steam :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

BuzzStream is probably the only dedicated search, prospecting, and CRM tool available for link building outreach and partnerships. I love the way they have focused on the smallest details in the overall link building process of various organisations and attempted to solve thise problems in a very practical and pragmatic manner. We have taken 4 seats on the tool and I really like how multiple people can manage their own leads or assign it to someone else to avoid confusion and contacting the same people over and over again. I also like how it seamlessly syncs with our email accounts to show all the previous conversations to everyone in the team and keep them updated about the leads. The inbuilt bulk outreach system is amazing and works pretty well. Overall, I like using BuzzStream as an end to end tool for outreach and link building activities. Even tho its packed with a bunch of useful features and integrations with other tools like Hunter, BuzzStream can sometimes feel buggy and complicated. Even the most simple task can take a while to complete and that can be a turn off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Setting up templates is nice and simple and the dynamic fields are very useful. Once a template is set up, it is very quick to start outreaching, and the feedback on email opens and clickthroughs is almost instant. Adding contact details from websites with the Buzzstream Buzzmarker is very useful and easy to do.
