Buzz is a secure and flexible environment for communication between teams of collaborating organizations. We use it for our digital health initiatives and love the powerful features offered by the platform. I routinely use the mobile platform (tablet or iPhone) when outside or the desktop when in the office (or at home when working remotely). There are a lot of customization features to help the efficiency and productivity. We do use Teams or Slack when called for, but Buzz is by far the most goto product that everyone loves. What do you dislike about Buzz Medical Messenger? Nothing that stands out. Over the past years, there have been many new features and updates - on mobile devices, one has to download the app (a minor inconvenience, but on the desktop, it is relatively easy). Also, not a shortcoming, there are many power features that take some time for new users to master. Fortunately, our team was onboarded with interactive training, so that is not so much of an issue. Collaboration and easy way to organize information based on the client and topics. We use document markup/edit features a lot within the workflow that maintains a nice trail. Our daily communication has been streamlined from texts, emails, calls, sticky notes, and passing verbal requests into Buzz. For each patient, we create groups of coworkers, sometimes reaching 100s a month, and with Buzz, everything is kept in line and in one spot so nothing gets missed or overwhelms any team member. Buzz has been an invaluable addition to our clinic and has made communication between our providers much more efficient. It has a wide variety of features that allows our staff to send sensitive messages and documents through different channels to ensure information is only being shared with those who need it. We have different teams that require real-time, complex coordination between healthcare providers, lab members, and receptionists, and no other HIPAA-compliant platform has been able to provide the customization we need to communicate effectively.
