Easy to set rules for allocations. Easy to use REST API. **What do you dislike about Buxfer?** Bank Sync does not work for my bank (supposed to be available via Saltedge but doesn't work). Need to export data for serious reporting. **What problems is Buxfer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Cash accounting for local political party. ### 2. I have tons of accounts from mortgages for multiple rental properties, investment acconts, forex acconts, and crypto accounts. Buxfer have connectivity to all my accounts where their competitors does not. **What do you dislike about Buxfer?** It can be buggy a lot of the time. For example, my HSA will not bring in my investment portion of the account after bringing it in for well over a year. **What problems is Buxfer solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm now able to successfully calculate my networth, because of buxfer ability to connect to all my finance accounts. Additionally, the customization of their budget makes it easy for me to see my spending habits. ### 3. For instance, upon reconnecting sync it's possible to have account balance projection problems if planned payments aren't re-linked to the account. Recent sync changes have made this less of an issue. **Recommendations to others considering Buxfer:** I replaced MS Money. I considered Quicken, Mint, and ynab. Buxfer was the clear winner. **What problems is Buxfer solving and how is that benefiting you?** Manage cash flow Make financial decisions Remember to Pay bills on time Research payments for taxes, etc. ### 4. It is easy to use and customize. It allows for creating several banks and cash accounts. Easy transactions, transfers, tracking your spending and loans. This tool helps to forecast how bad and how good you are doing financially. It is available cloud based and as an app on the phone. The phone app helps you capture on the go all transactions. **What do you dislike about Buxfer?** all tags for transactions have to be created manually. It would have been much easier if some of these tags are ready for selection covering multiple common types transactions such as gasoline, utilities, rent.. **Recommendations to others considering Buxfer:** The platform offers a demo account. You can sign in using your google or facebook account and test the functionality with a limited number of bank accounts. The free demo has no time limit. **What problems is Buxfer solving and how is that benefiting you?** This tool gives me an integrated overview of my financial status by showing the final net worth after considering all credit cards, bank accounts, and cash.
