What I appreciate about ButterCMS is how easy it is to dive in and start working right away. I had no prior experience with any CMS, yet part of my role involved using ButterCMS. After reading the documentation, I was able to begin the very next day. The more time I spent, the easier it became to navigate and utilize. Butter cms is an easy to use tool for content management. I help manage content for over 60 languages and it keeps them easily organized and loads in the content very quickly. There are some missing features that we would like but we are working with Butter on getting them added. there isn't a really easy way to copy something quickly to each market on the site it has to be done one at a time so time spent may go up this way but this is a small issue on a great platform. Well we have used ButterCMS for all our projects now and I gotta say thats it's implementation is pretty easy and allows a lot of modification. Migration from develop data to production is smooth and translating page content into different languages has never been easier. After joyning our internal ButterCMS Team I can also say that the customer support is pretty nice and working with them in routines always leaves a positive feeling. On the other hand there is still some room to grow. Migration from develop data to production isn't possible via patches. Also blog post can't jet be localized the same way pages can, which might spirals cost into unknown heights if your reliant on those and also need to localize a couple of languages. The set up was super fast, which saved us time and money on a developer. It has also integrated well with our Big Commerce e-commerce back-end, which brings peace of mind we have a fully functioning e-commerce website. Once set up, as a non-technical marketer, ButterCMS is easy to use - I can tweak and update our website myself (again, saving time/$$ on developer support), and when I have gotten a bit stuck, the chat support has been super responsive and helpful. it's given me confidence that I can manage our site for our start-up effectively. It's easy for my developer to set up, and easy for me to have all of the control I need with formatting, SEO, content, etc. I'm able to keep the look and feel of our site, all without having to deal with Wordpress or subdomains which kill SEO.
