If I need to drill down into any issues, the reports tab makes it easy. **What do you dislike about BusyBusy?** I have turned on geo reporting and required my guys to send a report of their location when they clock in. I turned it off due to privacy concerns. BusyBusy was tracking them 24/7. Their location was recorded on the weekends, at night, etc., and it was invasive. The racking was a couple of years ago, so I don't know if it is still a problem. **What problems is BusyBusy solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can track my hours worked by crew, employee, job, and compare that to monthly revenue, making root cause analysis easier for unprofitable jobs. Having these numbers lets me know if there is a problem I need to search for and find. I can also do my yearly budget for the business better, as I'm able to track hours that need to be applied to overhead from year to year. **Official Response from Zack Sheffield:** > Hey Stephen! We know privacy is important to you and your employees. Just to be clear, busybusy ONLY tracks GPS location when an employee is clocked in. Apple and Google track what guys are doing with Apple Maps and Google Maps respectively, but busybusy itself DOES NOT track 24/7. We don't even have that ability if we wanted to. As those concerns are years old now there could have potentially been an issue but I can assure you we do not track your guys constantly, nor do we want to. They are able to select the Project, subproject and also the equipment they're on. They can change these as needed throughout their day as well. Geolocation and clock in/out reminders with those geolocations help with time clock accuracy. **What do you dislike about BusyBusy?** We don't really have many dislikes. Initially we weren't loving the Payroll section. honestly though, we haven't gone back in to mess with it since the updates. (We've had BusyBusy for many years and there have been a few updates) **What problems is BusyBusy solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our Payroll is unique because our business uses different wages not only per employee, but also per project, subproject, specific actions/labors. We're able to keep it all straight with our employees using their BusyBusy apps. I like that I as the admin can setup their logins, manage their positions & permissions, as well as change their passwords, if needed. ### 23. I also like being able to take pictures and fill out notes and daily progress reports on the app or on my computer. **What do you dislike about BusyBusy?** The app sometimes takes a while to load reports which can end up taking a lot of time, and the online version doesn't allow line breaks without creating separate note fields prior to making the report. **What problems is BusyBusy solving and how is that benefiting you?** They added the capability to make daily progress reports online, and they added the ability to make line breaks in the daily progress reports in the app without having to create separate notes, but that isn't what this question is asking, is it, lol! I think that they have helped with tracking job costing, as well as allowing employees to see their hours any time throughout the week without having to look at the time clock in the office. ### 25. Edited time records don't update well across all screens within the app. Another issue is the integration with quickbooks. I use very minimum features and love BusyBusy. I can't imagine how great it would be if i was able to purchase the full verison. **Official Response from Zack Sheffield:** > Jackson, the free version of the app does have Clock In and Clock Out Location Reminders if you have set up the GPS for a particular job. If they enter the GPS area and have not clocked in, they will be notified that they need to clock in after a short time. Same thing for clocking out but in reverse of course. The free version also includes Digital Timecard Signatures so that each of your guys verify that their time is correct and have signed off on it.
