"A Bullhorn Review From a New Hire"

What do you like best about Bullhorn?

I just recently started my position and I have used Bullhorn collectively for about 1 1/2 months! I have no previous experience working for a staffing company prior to starting. Here are my takeaways:

1. Candidates and clients all in one spot! - easy to manage and track everything at work!

2.I like how you can click on the phone number to easily call and/or text the candidate and/or client! - this goes for emailing as well!

3. Tear sheets! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bullhorn?

1. Job posting was a little confusing to me at first. I was confused why there were so many hoops to jump around and sometimes I will forget to go back in and actually publish the job haha. I just wish this was more streamlined.

2. When adding in a new candidate, 9/10 I would forget to add in their phone number because it wasn't mandatory to complete their profile. Phone calls are important in getting better placements so I would appreciate if you made this mandatory in order to complete their profile!

3. Not necessarily a con but I was confused why sometimes the profile I was previously viewing would replace a new profile I was looking at (whether it was on the candidate side or the client side) until I saw a colleague more senior than me pin the profile! Highly recommend for staffing and recruiting professionals looking for a reliable, scalable CRM/ATS solution Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bullhorn?

Overall great system, though certain tasks can take a few extra clicks, and search results aren’t always perfectly precise. A bit of streamlining in navigation would make it even better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bullhorn?

Bullhorn has been an excellent tool in streamlining my recruitment workflow—it’s intuitive, fast, and built with recruiters in mind. From tracking candidates and managing client relationships to automating daily tasks, Bullhorn helps me stay organized and efficient. The integration with email and LinkedIn, etc is seamless, and the reporting features offer valuable insights into performance. Overall, it’s a reliable and powerful ATS that I’d highly recommend to any recruiting professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bullhorn?

Bullhorn offers powerful tracking and CRM tools, but it often feels cumbersome—search can be unforgiving (one mistyped character and it fails to find your candidate), and the interface often lags or feels outdated. Reporting is limited, basic, and rarely saveable without paid add-ons, and setup/customization—like private records or contract flexibility—can be frustrating, especially for smaller teams locked into rigid pricing tiers or backend limitations; overall, it sometimes slows rather than streamlines recruiting workflows. "Intuitive and Easy to Use ATS/CRM"

What do you like best about Bullhorn?

As a recruiter, we use Bullhorn as an Applicant Tracking System and out account manager utilize it as a CRM. Bullhorn is easy to use and easy to be productive on. It integrates well without our company software, texting, and email systems all in one. Adding candidates is a breeze and keeping track of their text messages, emails, and other communications is easy. You can add files, resumes, etc and also make notes on candidate profiles. You can add tasks if you need to follow up with will remind you via email. BH will also keep track of all candidate applications to any posted job in the company and will keep track of any and all emails, texts, etc so you can know what the candidates are doing.

We use Bullhorn all day everyday, so the fact that it us user friendly is the best part. From adding candidates, to keeping track of interviews, then offers and placements, Bullhorn gets the job done. Without it, I'm not sure we could use anything else so intuitive and well made. If I had any issues in the past their support team always resolves it quickly!

Finally Bullhorn has plenty of filter and options for tracking and reporting. We can pull basically any report on any metric we want and can see other employees metrics in our organization as well, to keep track of how we are doing vs others. Additionally they have added new AI tools to help us which are awesome! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bullhorn?

What do you like best about Bullhorn?

I like that Bullhorn keeps everything in one place, making it easy to track candidates, jobs, and communication history without bouncing between multiple systems. The search and filtering tools are helpful for quickly finding the right profiles, and the integration with email saves time by keeping outreach organized. Overall, it’s a solid tool for keeping the recruiting process streamlined and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bullhorn?

Some of the features feel a little clunky or take extra clicks to get where I need to be, and certain updates can slow things down instead of making them smoother. The search function, while useful, can be picky about keywords and sometimes misses results I know are in the system. It works well overall, but a more intuitive, faster interface would make a big difference. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
