"Easy to Navigate"

What do you like best?

- Easy to navigate

- Bullhorn Accelerator Add On

- Tearsheets

- Ability to send mass mail and add notes from tearsheets

- Ability to search and load from other sites to bullhorn

- Date of last contact column sorting

What do you dislike?

- When adding a candidate with a name similar to others it will bring up all similar candidates rather than only candidates with exact matching fields.

- Wish DocuSign could be connected to BullHorn with a Right to Represent feature

Recommendations to others considering the product:

When you understand all of the features and know how to use them, you will realize all of the benefits that Bullhorn has and the benefits it will bring to your ability to track candidates, schedule interviews and pipeline candidates.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

- When used daily it really tracks progress and you easily see the benefits.

- Sorting by date of last contact for candidates so that recruiters are not doubling up on contacting

"Difficult UI "

What do you like best?

*This review is from the Account Manager side of staffing - I know there are a variety of other helpful features on the recruiter end that I don't have access to.*

The colors are nice. There are features that are convenient like direct LinkedIn search per candidate or contact. However, it doesn't make up for the fact that the day to day usage is clunky.

What do you dislike?

Least helpful: the workflow for full life cycle recruiting is PAINFUL. There are many disconnected steps and pages and drop downs with no particular flow to them.

Using it for daily tasks and reminders is also a struggle, having worked with multiple CRM's in the past I avoid relying on Bullhorn ATS for keeping tabs on my accounts. No reminders for contract workers who are nearing the end of their project.

Another big complaint is it is very difficult to use on Mac. I am unable to enter a new job from my home computer.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Good luck, and weigh ALL the options. If you want your sales and recruiting team to actually USE the ATS to keep detailed notes of candidates and clients - don't pick this one.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am not solving problems with Bullhorn, if anything I'm working around it by supplementing my own tools like Trello, Google Drive, etc..

Sadly, I have realized no benefits (at least on the Account Manager side)

"Excellent ATS for any type of recruiting!"

What do you like best?

I have used Bullhorn in the past with three different recruiting companies. I used it twice with Physician Recruiting companies and once with an insurance staffing firm. It has been by far my favorite ATS I have used. I love that it incorporates email into it as well. My favorite aspect of Bullhorn was the ability to create tearsheets. I created tearsheets to use as call lists, and since they were static, they wouldn't change unless I removed them from the list. This allowed me more time on the phones calling prospective candidates as opposed to running searches over and over. When used correctly by all recruiters, it was very easy to see where candidates were in the process with notes it allowed you to create. When I used it in Insurance staffing from 2010-2012, we even had Careerbuilder and Monster incorporated into bullhorn, which allowed us to search those career sites within bullhorn and easily add those candidates quickly into the ATS.

What do you dislike?

On occasion, Bullhorn would go down, but it would usually be back up pretty quickly. This is probably an issue anyone faces from time to time though as issues come up.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you are discouraged with the ATS you are currently using, or a startup staffing firm in need of an ATS to track candidates, I would highly recommend Bullhorn. It has so many functions and capabilities and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

When using Bullhorn, it had so many capabilities from having saved queries, which were dynamic, to tearsheets, which were static, it allowed us to have numerous types of call lists for whatever position we were trying to fill, and it helped to streamline our process where we were able to continuously be on the phone calling prospective candidates.

"Great for agencies big or small"

What do you like best?

All the 3rd party integration, as well as the UI. I have used other ATS in the past, and Bullhorn does look the best, and things are (for the most part) laid out where you expect them to be.

What do you dislike?

I don't like how easier it is for a user to mess things up at the code level, given how un-user friendly changing some of custom fields can be. For example, yes you can go into the code and change some of your workflow (IF you can find it), but it can seriously mess things up for sure.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Workflow for sure. We can keep track of where we are in the process with a candidate with the pipeline and see where we left off or who we have to followup with.

"My Second Half"

What do you like best?

- it streamlines everything creating efficiency

- reports feature allows you to compare your performance to others

- mass emailing

- tearsheets

What do you dislike?

I feel that the candidate search feature sometimes misses keywords in my boolean or does not spit out the best results

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Personally it has improved my workflow substantially especially since i came from a shop that had no tracking system and relied solely on emailing the submissions to account managers which obviously created a logistical nightmare resulting in employee disengagement, lower moral and infighting.

Bullhorn took care of this because it has everything a shop needs to keep track of who is submitting to whom, which candidates are owned, who reached out first, who submitted when, what rate, etc... it really encapsulates all the features a recruiter needs to succeed versus internal and external competition.

"Bullhorn- Staffing and Bullhorn go hand in hand"

What do you like best?

We have been a Bullhorn Customer for over 7.5 years. Our business has grown over that time as has Bullhorn as a company. They took the feedback from their customers to make a better product and they have continued to build upon this every month with new features and functions. Not every new feature will change your business but there is usually 1 or more every month that you will use. Some are ground breaking and others just enhance the existing offering.

What do you dislike?

The product is great and I would encourage trying to use as much of the technology through configuration versus customized automations. The more customization- the more opportunities for failure in the system. We have some great automations built in but we could probably live without some of them and remove some issues.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Understand your own process and try to utilize as much of the configuration without customizing. Your project manager for your team should be in house as there are countless free hours of training you learn through implementation that help you administer the tool down the road.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are trying to reach our candidates as quickly as possible to meet the needs of our clients in the most efficient way. Our team is North American with many national clients. We need to keep the teams up to date on what is going on with roles, clients and candidates. Bullhorn has helped is solidify a process to manage this process.

"Bullhorn ATS Review- GF"

What do you like best?

Bullhorn makes it really easy to parse in new candidates and client information, all without tedious external options. With the new features like planner and tasks, it's easy to stay-up-to-date with communication efforts and events.

What do you dislike?

The software is a little clunkly, and although it's a newer version, it seems a bit outdated. While the platform is web-based, it fails to run smoothly through a mobile platform, and often times, the loading times are a little sluggish.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I would test out multiple ATS and see which work best for you. If you are comfortable using GMAIL as your email platform, than Bullhorn is most likely your best option. Bullhorn makes it really easy to parse in new candidates and client information, all without tedious external options.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Recording necessary information to ensure that all previous phone calls, notes, emails, are safely and accurately reported for future reference. It makes all future candidates much easier to screen. With the new laws set to take place, regarding salary history, Bullhorn makes it easier to negotiate for proper salary offers.

"Best Staffing and recruiting software I've seen "

What do you like best?

Organization is key. All of your contacts and companies are saved in customizable "favorites." Call lists can be easily created using the handy "tearsheet" feature too.

What do you dislike?

We use it in a sales capacity along with our recruiters. It is limited for sales professionals because Bullhorn CRM is the sales counterpart, so having to use staffing and recruiting software does compare to jamming a square peg on a round hole at times.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you're company focuses on staffing and building relationships with other organizations to help them meet their recruiting needs, Bullhorn Staffing Recruiting and Bullhorn CRM go hand in hand to provide a cohesive, full service tool for all of your teams staffing needs.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bullhorn solves the problem of forgetting past candidates that may fit a future job. Storing candidates files allows you to search key words when a new job needs to be filled, and a previous candidate that didn't get hired for a previous job might fit the bill, and bullhorn makes them readily accessible using a quick keyword search

"Bullhorn review"

What do you like best?

Bullhorn was a good product for the staffing agency world because it made it very easy to track calls and contacts for any given candidate. It also allowed managers to view reports and statistics which was necessary to gauge the success of a recruiter or account manager. The search function was also very helpful so that recruiters could easily search for candidates by name or skill set. The approval process flow was also very clear and helpful.

What do you dislike?

At the time of use, it did not link to posting externally because it did not automatically post to sites for you (i.e. careerbuilder, indeed, monster, zip recruiter, etc.). That process can be very time consuming and expensive. It cam take a lot of time out of a recruiter's day and so this feature would be very important. I think that the training resources could be better as well.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bullhorn is an applicant tracking system and this is what we used it for and it fulfilled that need within the organization. It allowed us to move away from email recruitment. This also allowed for client management within the same system. In the staffing agency world, you need to be able to track candidates and clients and hiring managers. Overall it is a good system but there are some features that are missing or need to be updated. Regardless, it was very beneficial to have a system to keep track of each process.

"Bullhorn has great partnerships!"

What do you like best?

What I love most about Bullhorn is not only the easy interface but also their partnership with vendors. They have a marketplace that allows you find so many great tools to help your business and they all integrate with Bullhorn!

What do you dislike?

They have some things that are hard coded that I wish we could change. Also, they tend to tell customers about new features and give a date that it will be live but it usually takes longer than expected. For example, they said the new version would be rolled out in July and when I spoke to them about when we would be getting it they said it would be closer to December.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our company lives in Bullhorn. It is where we can see all our employee activity and keep track of our candidates and clients.

"Feature-Rich CRM"

What do you like best?

Bullhorn is pretty much the industry standard for CRM's. It has many, many features, a powerful ability to search the database, and a robust ability to accept add-on products like Ebsta. Email integration, candidate sharing, and most other functions are easy to find and implement, and customization options within fields are plentiful.

What do you dislike?

Customer Service is hard to reach and slow to respond, the size of the company and the extent of the software makes bugs fairly frequent, and relatively slow to fix. Some fields are hard to alter. Data migration from a previous database can be a dicey affair.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

CRM's are the core of any recruitment firm, thus, they're essential to the smooth functioning the business. Bullhorn was much faster to pick up and understand for new hires, allowing time to train to be quicker and more efficient. Documents are searchable, allowing for more targeted searching. Bullhorn CRM"s enormous variety of customization options available to the end-user allows us to tailor the experience to each user's needs, whether they be Talent Sourcing, Recruiting, Or Business Development

"Bullhorn User Review"

What do you like best?

I like the ability to build and share tearsheets, as well as the ease to sift through old jobs. Their candidate search is also quite easy to specify. You can really narrow down searches quite easily based on previous submissions, previous jobs, titles, etc.

What do you dislike?

It could have a sleeker look to it, seems a bit old/outdated. I would also like it to have a bit of an easier function to keep track of candidates that I have worked with or want to continue to work with. I use tearsheets so often that it does not seem like the right way to go about it.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

I have never used another ATS, but from what I have been told this is the easiest and most effective out there.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It is our go to tool for full candidate and job ownership life-cycle. We are using it as an ATS, a collaboration tool, and process management.

"One of the Best ATS I've Used"

What do you like best?

Very easy to use, easy to customize as well based on needs.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes it feels like there are too many ways to do the same thing.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you don't ever want to worry about the quality or support available, it's worth the price tag. When there's issues or bugs, the team is good about the speed of getting it resolved and getting back to you with either a timeline of when it's going to be fixed or letting you know that it's been resolved. I've used various ATS before and this is hands down the best, especially for any large organization. It is so difficult to get a large organization with a quality ATS that won't feel clunky. For an company that is smaller or mid size but projects growing, having this will save you the pain of having to get all your data transferred as your company grow.

If you're thinking of transferring also, they make it very easy, again because they have an excellent back end team to help with migrating systems.

Bullhorn is the standard that a lot of companies go by, you know a company cares about a very important tool if they have it and not something with cheap functionality like Taleo.

It's very easy to upload, search and categorize candidates. So, speed is definitely on your side when using Bullhorn versus other ATS that don't have as many search functions or fields as BH.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Collect profiles of candidates in a go to database.

"Organized, efficient and easy to use! "

What do you like best?

You can easily incorporate Bullhorn into your every day work life for organization- whether it be to personally collect and sort candidates, or have a platform to track a job. You don't have to be very technical either, since it is easy to use. I personally like the tearsheet function for collecting candidates in one spot!

What do you dislike?

I disklike that the tabs can't be opened in individual windows. Even though you can have multiple tabs open in the single Bullhorn tab, I think visually I like it better when there can be multiple windows tabs. There was an error with parsing resumes directly from an email, but find that whenever there is an error they seems to fix it quickly and efficiently.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I think it keeps everyone organized and on-track to placing candidates when used daily.

"The best ATS I've used"

What do you like best?

It's fairly easy to navigate, the tearsheet function makes it really easy to keep track of candidates with certain skillsets in certain areas, and the mass mail function makes sending out emails extremely fast and easy.

What do you dislike?

Candidate search function could be better - you don't always find people who match your search string.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use it as a way to keep all of the recruiters on our team informed of what each other has been focusing on that day, what candidates they've contacted, and progress they're making on open reqs.

"User Friendly"

What do you like best?

I like the user interface. For the most part, you can use the search engine easily (despite the fact that you have to spell an applicant's name EXACTLY right) and the it is user friendly. The color scheme is definitely a plus as well because it is easier to read text as opposed to other sites.

What do you dislike?

I really dislike the fact that you need to be very precise with your wording when searching for applicants. Mistakes happen, and it should be able to pull up applicants who have similar spellings. I do understand the reasoning why but it would be nice to search and get results that are close to what you need.

Also, there needs to be an easier way to edit interviews. I had to call customer service to figure out how to do it. There are too many steps that you would not intuitively know to find the edit button!

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The primary problem I'm solving using Bullhorn is making sure that notes are always being filled out. For applicants with extensive or multiple notes, it would be nice to be able to sort through them better

"Works for us"

What do you like best?

It's great, keeps us organized.

I like the way you can search people's names with only three letters.

EX: Sarah Thomas

You can search Sar Tho

I know its simple.... But saves a lot of time!

I also like that you can click on someone's email and it pulls it up in Outlook.

What do you dislike?

Wish it was synced a little better to Microsoft Office.

When you schedule cal events, comes out pretty messy.

I also don't love all the glitches. I would say that it does glitch quite a bit.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Make sure you train with someone who has done it in the past. SUPER easy to use, but lessons can't teach you, more like follow someone through their daily use of it.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Sales - connections - keeps organized. Allowed to put in personal info like "Ralph just got married to Liz from X company" - Helps later and shows you remember the client.

I also like the function of tear sheets and distribution lists.

"Bullhorn Review "

What do you like best?

What I like best about Bullhorn is you are able to search for past candidates you have worked with. The program stores their contact info for easy access in the future. I also like you can also search for candidates using Boolean searches, their phone numbers and/or emails.

What do you dislike?

The only issues I have had with Bullhorn are more user error. You can search for candidates via email and if you have a space in the front of their email address it sometimes will not be able to locate the candidate.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to located strong tech talent for our clients within the database. We work with many candidates on a daily basis and some can get lost. Bullhorn makes it easy to track past candidates you have worked with.

"The Best ATS on the Market!"

What do you like best?

Bullhorn allows for the automation of several key recruiting processes. The tools within the ATS allow recruiters to maintain great relationships with their candidates easily and effectively.

What do you dislike?

The reporting tools are rigid. If you want any customization for your reporting it's going to cost you design and hosting fees on top of your Bullhorn licenses.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Get references from other users. They'll be able to tell you the value of the system, the tools they're using, and then you can make an assessment as to whether or not Bullhorn makes sense for you.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Candidate relationship management, sourcing, back-office support, timesheets are all managed through Bullhorn for our firm. The automation has allowed us to minimize the time.

"Comprehensive Recruiting Platform"

What do you like best?

Integration! We have realized a clear, positive benefit from Bullhorn's ability to integrate with other software. We have our background check vendor integrated within our CRM platform and by doing so have saved a great deal of time and money as a result.

What do you dislike?

User interface could use some attention to detail in certain areas to make navigating through multiple windows more seamless.

Data speed - We all want to work faster. Bullhorn can sometimes be a bit sluggish with the transmission of data.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Consider your most important and time-consuming tasks related to staffing. Does the software you're considering make these tasks quicker and easier?

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We recently merged with another agency. The fact that both agencies used Bullhorn allowed for a much smoother transition during the merger process.

Bullhorn is also well-suited for specific data retrieval. I run monthly reports to extract current employee detail in order to determine eligibility for employee benefits. By keying in a few date parameters, I'm able to see an accurate list of eligible employees.

"Grab the Bull-by the-Horn with Bullhorn ATS"

What do you like best?

Bullhorn integrates seamlessly with MS Exchange. This Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is thoroughly customizable and makes it easy to add new candidate records with its drag and drop tools. However, integration with the Bullhorn Marketplace has much room for improvement. While the new API offered cross-browser accessibility, some solid features were left behind and modular layout took a step back which added a few more clicks per page.

Bullhorn provides seamless integration with MS Exchange that allows for tracking of in/outbound communication with clients and candidates. Emails are clearly tracked replacing the need to document activity or cross-reference multiple systems in preparation for your next call.

Through customization; You can configure Bullhorn to fit your organizations workflow, naming conventions or custom fields et al. As an Administrator for our organization; I've found that most functionality can be achieved with no additional cost or custom development.

Resume Parsing and Document Management; Adding new Candidate records is as simple as drag and drop, the parsing engine updates standard fields and documents (references, work samples, background checks, offer letters, etc.) can be managed and saved within a contact's record.

What do you dislike?

Integration with Bullhorn Marketplace: the solutions offered in Bullhorn's Marketplace are extremely relevant; however the integration and go-live process lacks the support and guidance that we've come to expect through our experience with the core ATS product.

New API unveiled with Bullhorn S release offered cross-browser accessibility; however some solid features were left behind and modular layout took a step back which added a few more clicks per page.

System up-time: Extremely reliable, but back-end performance and data indexing has, and continues, to be an issue from time to time.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Depending on the current state of your organization, user adoption will more than likely be your biggest hurdle along the way. Take the time to map your company's workflow prior to scheduling product demos with your vendor list. It's best to view Bullhorn as an Applicant Tracking System, it remains their core offering and what they do best. Reporting, time & expense, background checks can be tied into the product, but they leave the heavy lifting to 3rd party vendors which means additional contracts and monthly spend. Also, if your organization has a high turnover rate on the sales and recruiting side, you have to get creative as far as ways to query your database based on past record owner.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

After the initial learning curve that your employees can expect, we've definitely seen an increase in efficiency.

Our touch-points and Constant Contact with our network has increased; the system provides task and followup reminders and the ability to send mass mailings catered to a target audience.

Our back-office has experienced quite a bit of downtime and frustration when on-boarding or integrating products from the Bullhorn Marketplace.

"Practical "

What do you like best?

I like that you can search bullhorn for all previous notes on candidates. You can also internally share tearsheets. I like that you are able to integrate bullhorn with a few other tools for to make it easier to keep track of each of your candidates and open jobs

What do you dislike?

Sometimes bullhorn is slow to update notes on a candidate, so you can have two people reaching out to one candidate at the same time and not realize it until later. (This does not happen often, but I have experienced it)

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I am filling open technical positions with various clients across the Chicagoland area. A benefit of bullhorn is you can keep all notes on open jobs, clients, and candidates in one place for easy future access

"Customer Service"

What do you like best?

Stable system with a well thought out plan

What do you dislike?

Customer service, staff was unresponsive, you had to chase them to get anything done. Very slow system with repeated issues that were never resolved

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Look else where

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Customer Experience Alert: Like any customer, we gave our notice to Bullhorn and reduced our number of users to 1 to adhere to the terms of the contract and ride it out with our 60 days notice. We followed their rules, kept the customer service reps informed and got the OK to reduce down to 1 user. Soon enough I look at my billing statement and they had charged us for more than 1 user. I called their front line billing staff and they said it would be reversed. To my surprise, I receive a call today where the front line billing staff said that even though we have not used more than 1 user, we will still be charged for more than 1. This tells you how the senior management thinks, where their ethics are and how low they can stoop. A few dollars won't break the bank but when you treat a customer that is leaving with such low ethics. That shows your true colours. You can continue acquiring other companies but as you grow bigger, your problems get magnified. I'll be sure to mention this to everyone in the industry considering an ATS never to bother with Bullhorn especially with their limitations on the system and ridiculous policies. By the way, we were loyal customers for 2 years and only left due to the inability to resolve repeated issues with their system.

"Great for staffing and tracking applicants"

What do you like best?

Very user friendly. Very easy too navigate through. Is great for tracking applicants and for the entire recruiting process from start to finish. Another thing about Bullhorn that I find unique is how fast and easy it is to do a Help Desk ticket or chat, they know the system and are very eager to help and to resolve any issue that I have.

What do you dislike?

The only thing I can say about the dislike is more on the user and not with Bullhorn itself. I haven't learned everything about Bullhorn more so because of time and I feel there are still functions that would benefit me and help with my day.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

The benefits are definitely the start to finish process on an applicant, Its set up for every area of recruiting and credentialing which is great for our type of staffing.

"Bullhorn Review"

What do you like best?

This software package really helps our company attempt to automate of staffing process. It removes some of the headaches that we have seen while using similar competing products.

What do you dislike?

At times the user interface seems to be cluttered. Additionally, I have seen small glitches throughout every functionality of the software at times. This hinders the overall feel of the product as a whole.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Bullhorn has made it really easy to sort through the potential candidate pool, a lot more streamlined than other products available. The ease of implementation has allowed our company to come on board quickly with a low cost to get started.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

This software has allowed us as a mid range company to standardize our staffing process while not impeding our 3rd party recruiting partners. We have been able to work in unison towards the same goal.

"Perfect for Staffing Agencies"

What do you like best?

I love that Bullhorn is customizable for large and small organizations. I've used at Enterprise orgs and smaller agencies and each time has been decent for searching candidates and managing documents or files for offers etc.

What do you dislike?

If you are using Bullhorn at a smaller company, beware that automating processes like end-dates and candidate status will cost extra money that you might not be willing to spend. If you can afford to automate some of those features, do it! It will save a lot of time and keep your back-office less hectic.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

I've used Bullhorn for tracking and searching a large database of candidates, submitting internally and externally to clients and account managers, managed offer documentation and billing/invoicing through Bullhorns various features.

"Recruiting Managers Need to Grab the BULL by the HORNs!"

What do you like best?

As far as applicant tracking software goes, Bullhorn has thrown everything into the application that a recruiting team may need to manage applicants, conduct interviews, store notes, manage roles and clients, and create a growing leverageable candidate pipeline to stay competitive and manage both internal needs and external client base.

What do you dislike?

There was some learning curve when adopting Bullhorn. Some of the features are less than intuitive to navigate to or are buried within the application. Using Bullhorn's many features for applicant tracking can be time consuming if done correctly. With that, Bullhorn isn't always 'fun' for recruiting teams to use, but it is invaluable and totally necessary to keep up with the competition in today's competitive landscape, where recruiting companies are plentiful in the current job market where the candidate's hold much of the power.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

If you're in the field of recruiting you either need BH, or something very similar. It is loaded with the features that you need to be competitive in today's job market / business landscape.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Being able to manage many requisitions for growing client base

Being able to capture results of interviews

Being able to grow a candidate pipeline

Being able to manage candidates through clients interview process - thru all phases

All of this in an effort to stay competitive, improve and formalize our recruiting process, and close more deals and being able to take on more clients.

"Great for Stats and Team Collaboration"

What do you like best?

Customizable and highly searchable. Keep discovering new ways to filter out what I'm looking for.

What do you dislike?

Not the most user friendly. Somewhat of a learning curve to get to know the searching capabilities. Not a lot of automation offered.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Great for Agency Recruiting firms that want to track a lot of stats, keep historical records of a large number of candidates that can be searched through, and have a larger team of recruiters who need to work within the same candidate pool.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Works well with Agency recruiting firms where there are a high number of recruiters working in the same candidate pool. Lot of collaborative tools. Captures a lot of data for stat tracking.

"One of the best ATS systems in the business !"

What do you like best?

The accessibility and ease of navigation. Being able to do multiple things at once is awesome and very helpful on the recruiting end. It saves time, and saving time saves money

What do you dislike?

It can be interrupted a lot. Not sure because of the updates constantly happening or what. Also, the mobile application lags sometimes.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Continue the upgrades and continued teaching. Its awesome.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Tracking my candidates, running my reports and searching for new leads. Those benefits have helped me become more organized, make more placements and make more money ! Thank you BH !

"the real Bullhorn and what others wont tell you"

What do you like best?

the email integration, apart from that everything else is not too dissimilar to any other data base I have previously experienced

What do you dislike?

- inability to do fast search based on first name, last name, or job title. The search criteria for fast search to work on are very limited and when it comes to candidates and contacts you need to know the first two initials of the first and surname in order to successfully search

- uploading files or setting up new contacts, candidates or companies takes a while when using the cloud service (even if you have dedicated internet with guaranteed 100/100 mbps)

- it crashes frequently

- poor capability to integrate to existing website portal

- but the worst is the very slow and poor/non responsive customer support.

We have decided for all these reasons to move to another provider after 2 years and poor support to move to a competitor and have encountered the following after advising bullhorn that we are not renewing:

1. no one from customer / client support contacted us to understand why we are moving (I would be appalled as the business owner to know that they don't care about loss of customers);

2. after waiting 30 days from initial request of standard SQL backup to provide to our new provider we received a corrupted file with the wrong password. Initially we were advised by the cancellation team that it would take 1-2 days to get this to us, later we were informed of 7-14 days, but in the end after multiple follow ups we received a non useable file, only to be advised it will take another 7-14 days for them to fix their mistake.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

look at Vincere

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We needed a database that could grow with our business and for emails to be captured. There are now better solutions available in the market and due to the poor customer support with Bullhorn I would not recommend them to anyone

Helpful?
