"The Best ATS on the Market!"

What do you like best?

Bullhorn allows for the automation of several key recruiting processes. The tools within the ATS allow recruiters to maintain great relationships with their candidates easily and effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The reporting tools are rigid. If you want any customization for your reporting it's going to cost you design and hosting fees on top of your Bullhorn licenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Get references from other users. They'll be able to tell you the value of the system, the tools they're using, and then you can make an assessment as to whether or not Bullhorn makes sense for you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Candidate relationship management, sourcing, back-office support, timesheets are all managed through Bullhorn for our firm. The automation has allowed us to minimize the time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"20 year old software - Better have a SQL expert on hand."

What do you like best?

It easily connects with your Bullhorn CRM data and you have a better view of the data and can reach data that is not available in any of the Company/Candidate/Client/Job list views. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I am sure, that if you are an experienced SQL or old-school BI application user, this tool would be extremely powerful. However, since this is billed as their ‘go-to’ reporting tool and that everyone could use it, I have to give this a 1 star. Yes, it connects to the data beautifully, giving you a depth of data that is impressive. However, you just can not get the reports that you could get using that data in excel or better yet, tableau or domo. It is not a visual drag and drop and manipulate tool. It reminds me of the early 1990 BI tools used with oracle databases. Before you use this tool, you will need extensive training. However, Bullhorn does not provide that training. Their help in building reports consists of two (2) knowledge help pages that give you the briefest of a glimpse at how to truly build detailed reports. We had repeated issues that took weeks to resolve where Canvas just would not save any reports. After weeks of going back and forth and sharing screens, we were told that the issue is that Canvas could not be used in any browser but Chrome. The fact that it took weeks to resolve this illustrates how the Bullhorn support team does not understand their own product. Good luck in building something truly useful.
