Thanks for your review, Wade. You've got some suggestions that other customers have also made. If you haven't already, check out the "Suggest a feature" page in the Help and Support menu in your Buildium account. You can search for features you'd like to see, and if another user has made that suggestion you can add a comment or add your vote to it. If it's not there, you can create the suggestion yourself and other Buildium users can add their thoughts and votes to it. The more common feedback we get, the better!

"Better than Appfolio"

What do you like best about Buildium?

I like the Rental Owner requests and Resident requests in Buildium for tracking everything in an organized way. I also like the various financial reports it allows you to download very quickly. I use Appfolio with a different management company but it does NOT offer either of these features so Buildium is far superior! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buildium?

One of the main complaints we get from rental owners is their lack of visibility into certain tasks. For example, when a resident submits a Resident request, the owners cannot see this, even if we share a message with them from that task. It would be very helpful if we could open up the owners' visibility to certain requests on a case-by-case basis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Buildium helps our affordable housing non-profit equip our residents for success"

What do you like best about Buildium?

I love that buildium allows our tenants to build up their credit scores through the reporting of their on-time rent payments. This is an often overlooked factor in their financial profile and allowing them to reap the rewards on on-time payment is an awesome feature. I also love now thedesign of the softward and online portal lend an air of credibility to our operation and creates a professional user interface through which we can communicate. What do you dislike about Buildium?

I wish that the listing process was more transparent. When we enrolled with buildium we were sold a bill of goods that the system would allow us to post our housing vacancies across every platform simultaneously removing the need for multiple posts or services. While it certainly does allow access to some of the platforms it's far from all of them and doesn't meet the lofty vision sold to us by the sales team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As for listing syndication, we try to integrate with as many partners as possible so you can cast as wide a net as possible. If you haven't already, please let us know what platforms you would like to see for listing syndication. To do this, go to the Help & Support menu in your Buildium account and click "Suggest a feature."

"Buildium: a one stop shop for all things PM!"

What do you like best about Buildium?

Buildium is great because everything is so streamlined. The entire leasing process, from start to finish, can be managed in one place. For property mangers like myself, who manage 400+ properties, efficiency is key. Buildium is the most efficient platform I have ever used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buildium?

I wish Buildium offered automated bill entry. Similar to how you can create a lease template, with auto-filling fields, I think we should be able to create bill templates. When the bill is scanned, the review fields for that bill template should be able to extrapolate data from the bill and autofill the necessary fields when entering a bill. What do you like best about Buildium?

Fast access to information.

We can have almost everything in one place.

Easy access from mobile or PC Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buildium?

Not everything in Buildium can be extracted in an excel Report;

We do not have the option to add fields as needed (like customized fields)

When we add information to Buildium it would be great to copy and paste, like adding many rows inside a bill, or it would be great to have a "drag rows" option...

Pictures in work orders do not have the option to scroll or move to the next one, and we have to go back to each image, then click on the next one; it is very annoying.

There are so many things that we, the administrators, cannot do in the mobile app; it would be great to have the capability to perform more actions there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Buildium has a wonderful support staff and associates who are eager to listen to the needs of small and large property managers alike. We have used Buildium and have grown from a company of 130 units to over 800 units. Buildium is based on the industry standard for accounting and is easy to use! What do you like best about Buildium?

I love the Billing section; it allows vendors to be paid by either check or EFT, it holds all past invoices there for if you ever need them for your records. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You do not have all the access you need to do everything; I have had to had our Admin do basic tasks for me. An example is not being able to add Leases myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks for your review, Natalie! It's great to see how billing and invoices help you to operate more efficiently. Regarding access, that is a feature that is controlled by administrator users on the account. Custom user roles with varying degrees of access are all at their discretion. If there is a function that you don't have access to, I recommend checking with an admin user to edit your user role or assign you with a different role with the kind of access you need.
