What do you like best about Buildium?

They have a very detailed screening report. I love how easy it is to make notes in the applicant's summary page. Now that the system has updated, it's way easier to link applications together and keep the Cosigner linked with their applicants.

The customer support team is always on top of making sure the system is working correctly.

I have been using their website for 3 years now, and I love their system and would recommend it to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Buildium?

My only complaint is that the screening charge price has gone up to $20 instead of staying at the original $10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Buildium?

The Buidium system has proven to be an efficient and modern solution for rental property management. Its platform offers an intuitive interface and comprehensive features that streamline financial control, contract management, and communication with both tenants and property owners.

Throughout its observed use, there has been a noticeable improvement in administrative processes. Automated tasks such as invoice generation, detailed financial reporting, and due date reminders contribute significantly to better organization and reduced delinquency rates.

Another strong point is the responsive and helpful customer support, as well as the platform’s regular updates, which show a commitment to keeping up with the evolving needs of the real estate market.

What do you dislike about Buildium?

Despite the wide range of features offered by Buidium, one area that could be improved is the ability to integrate credit card payment links. Adding this functionality would allow for more efficient reconciliation of credit card transactions, in the same way that transactions from a bank account are currently matched and tracked. What do you like best about Buildium?

I like the flexibility Buildium has with all the different services it syndicates with like Tenant Turner, Monday (CRM), eLeasing! Buildium is also very user friendly, I am on the road for most of my work day and appreciate the ease and speed, I can obtain property, tenant, or applicant information! What do you dislike about Buildium?

I dislike that if utilizing the 'Showings Coordinator via Tenant Turner' you need to turn off Buildium syndication to prevent double listings published. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Thanks, Deeksha! While the default accounting method in Buildium is Cash basis, you can change the setting to Accrual by going to your Application Setting page and selecting "Accrual." You're also able to set up trust accounting warnings, fiscal year end date and more from this page. Hope that helps!

Thanks for your review, Juliet! Whether it's integrations like ePay, eSignature and screening, or from the Marketplace, we hope they help make Buildium your one-stop show for your whole operation! As for cost, be sure to take a look at where you might be able to optimize your subscription, whether it's reducing your unit ceiling if you aren't using all of the units in your subscription, or getting a discount for switching from monthly pricing to annual pricing. There are ways to save! Reach out to customer care for help with this.

I love that I can work in it all day- pull reports- communicate with the tenants, track payments, write and adds, the features are endless. It really is a one stop shop! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
