Anytime we’ve run into questions or needed guidance, assistance was just a few clicks away. The support team is knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely helpful. We’ve also had the pleasure of working directly with the Buildium team, and they’ve been fantastic to work with—professional, approachable, and always eager to help us get the most out of the platform. The only downside we’ve encountered so far is the current limitation on uploading certain PDFs, such as management contracts, for use with DocuSign. Buildium makes day-to-day property management so much easier. I really like how everything is in one place—from tracking rent payments and sending out lease agreements to managing maintenance requests. The Resident Center is especially useful because it allows tenants to pay rent and submit requests online, which cuts down on back-and-forth communication. There’s not much to dislike, but if I had to mention something, it would be that the mobile app could offer more of the same features available on the desktop version. It’s great for checking basic info or approving requests on the go, but a few more tools would make it even more convenient. Also, the platform has a bit of a learning curve at first—but once you get used to the layout, it becomes very efficient to use. Buildium helps solve the biggest challenges of property management—especially staying organized and keeping communication clear with tenants. It centralizes everything from rent collection to maintenance tracking, so I no longer have to juggle multiple spreadsheets, emails, or paper records. Tenants can easily pay rent and submit maintenance requests online, which saves a lot of time and reduces misunderstandings. It also simplifies lease renewals and accounting, making monthly reporting and tax prep much easier. Overall, it helps me stay efficient, professional, and less stressed. Both the landlord and tenant platforms in Buildium are very user-friendly and well-designed for their intended purposes. It was easy to use and easy to integrate. I specifically like the reporting, ledgers, and ease of understanding if tenants are up to date on rent.
