Buildfire's DIY app builder is great for people who like to do everything themselves. If you know your way around Wordpress or around the Office suite, you'll learn your way around the app builder in no time. It is the easiest platform I could find out there to build an app without coding abilities. The DIY app building is priced fairly, and their support team was quick to respond and knowledgeable enough to make a positive difference or solve my problems every time I reached out. By its easy-to-use nature, the DIY app builder has its limits. Before committing, make sure you know what these limits are and whether you really can build your app with the features you need, as their custom development services are considerably more expensive.

Certain bugs or issues have persisted over the 4 years we've had our app. For example, the in-app browser feature that allows you to open a webpage in the app still does not have a back button to leave the in-app browser and return to the app's homescreen. I never would have thought that I could be running an app for our business. I don't like tech and I am not good at it. But the interface is almost simple, and when you get stuck there is always help within reach. The training resources helped me to build out the app and the customer service IT team helps me when the resources are not enough. So I am never on my own. The only thing I dislike is that now I have no excuse to not do the thing I was scared to do, which is branch out of my comfort zone. :) It was easy to hold back from it when I couldn't do it myself and couldn't afford to hire someone to do it for me. I've tried several different app makers and BuildFire was the only one that made it easy from start to finish. No confusing language, easy-to-use drag and drop builder, and pre-made plugins installed with one click. Plus, the ability to customize is much easier than other app-building sites.
