Defect Tracking Systems allow individual or groups of developers to keep track of outstanding bugs in their product effectively. Most commercial defect-tracking software vendors charge enormous licensing fees. Despite being "free", Bugzilla has many features its expensive counterparts lack. This tool helped us to document all the defects and also to track all the defect on a timely manner with email notifications / reminders. ### 6. Sometimes the tool seems too simple and missing some essential fields. **What problems is Bugzilla solving and how is that benefiting you?** As a user i am trying to log defects. it would be really great if there is a way we can upload the requirements and be able to connect the requirements to defects. ### 10. It runs on Perl wich itself is not an issue but it does seem like Perl is a language in decline. **Recommendations to others considering Bugzilla:** If you want a free bugtracking tool and know Perl this is a good choice. ### 13.
