bugweg is an AI code reviewer for GitHub pull requests. It reviews pull requests that reach its AI review stage and, for every issue it flags, checks whether the same pattern was flagged earlier in that repository, using embeddings and a similarity threshold. When there is a match, the annotation says it is a recurring bug, how many times it has been seen, which PR it was first seen in when that is known, and how similar it is to the earlier occurrence. It is built for engineering teams that want code review on GitHub pull requests to remember what has already gone wrong in their repository. What it does: - Reviews eligible pull requests on GitHub and reports the issues it finds as annotations on the GitHub check. - Bug Genealogy: recognizes bugs that were flagged before in the same repo. - Recurrence Firewall: after a fix, a team can turn the pattern into a block rule from the dashboard. A rule only blocks a merge if your branch protection requires the bugweg check, warn-only rules never block, and someone with bypass rights can override it. - Risk Heat Map: scores each file from how often it changes, its complexity and its defect history, and shows the result on a dashboard map. - More features, each marked live or simplified: https://bugweg.com/features Limits: it only knows bugs bugweg itself flagged in that repository. It does not review every PR (plan allowances and daily limits apply, and pull requests from bot accounts are skipped on the Developer plan). A match is a prompt to look, not a verdict. It does not catch every bug and does not replace human review. The service is not offered to customers located in Quebec, Canada. How recurring-bug detection works: https://bugweg.com/features/bug-genealogy Plans and pricing: https://bugweg.com/pricing bugweg is an independent product. GitHub is a trademark of GitHub, Inc.; bugweg is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by GitHub. Start with 3 free PR reviews per developer (card required, not charged during the trial).
